| EndTech SMP [Semi-Vanilla] {1.15.1} {Whitelisted} Posted: 19 Dec 2019 03:26 AM PST Started in 1.14, EndTech has been around for nearly 8 months (19,000 minecraft days), and has just recently updated to 1.15.1. We are looking to fill a few extra member positions on our server, ideally people who can stay active. Technical abilities are preferred, however it does not rule you out completely especially if you show enough interest (bonus points if you're a builder). We're using 1.14+ versions of Minecraft opposite to the majority of other Technical servers which run on 1.12(.2). Our main reason for this is to try and push the limits of Technical Minecraft in the newest version which handicap a lot of Technical "features" such as bedrock breaking, chunk-loading, RNG manipulating, and see how Technical we can get even though it's increased in difficulty. We run Fabric Carpet to assist with diagnosing problems, as well as add some game features which would have otherwise been overly simplified (e.g. shulkers respawn so we can make a farm, instead of just duping the shells). The lag is usually pretty low) with a low player count. That's why we are currently accepting applications. People have for the most part gotten relatively set up, but we still have plenty of room for shops and community projects. The nether hub, for example, is pretty barren at this point and we plan on setting up proper ice tunnels to everyone's base once 1.16 is released with a nether reset. The server is semi-vanilla. The data-packs installed are pretty standard. A full list can be given on request but the bigger game changing ones are Sethome, Multiplayer sleep, and Customisable Armor Stands. Rules are mostly common sense. No hacking. Acting less than pleasant towards other players will result in an immediate ban. Only prank with people you've built a rapport with. Bases should be separated by a considerable distance so you're not stealing any land, unless you have permission. There's no age requirement but basic maturity is expected. Most current players are in the high teens or low twenties. We're all adults who drift in and out as life allows. The server is definitely empty most of the day most of the time, with bursts of activity here and there Rules:
We have some nice infrastructure built up if you want a jumpstart. We've also mostly clumped around spawn if you want to wander off and do your own thing. There's a mix of solo and communal builds. You can probably find someone to join you on projects if you don't mind being patient. We'll have one ongoing consistent world as long as anyone is interested in playing. We don't reset the map, mess with mods, mess with commands, etc... We have discussed maybe resetting the nether when the nether update hits, but that would be a pretty extreme step for us. Grief Prevention: You get 625 claim blocks only, ever. This provides little safe space to stash your things and make a cool build if ya wanna, but I don't want to encourage afking at a cactus farm to own a continent. No currency for the same reason.

The Burgerlands: This plugin is not publicly released, it has been written entirely by the server owner over the course of the past 3 years. Its main focus is to add mobs that are actually difficult and drop loot more reminiscent of Diablo II than of Vanilla Minecraft. It also adds many custom recipes, some just for silly and fun, others for combat and survival. The mobs near spawn are 'only' slightly more difficult than vanilla, but the further out you wander the meaner they get. Be ready to die and lose everything, and please, don't cry an admin about it when you do.
/spawn /sethome (just one) /tpa (but it aint free) a few other commands, but let's leave some things a mystery for now. certainly, many details have been forgotten.

Rules: Don't destroy peoples builds and don't hassle people. As far as chests go though, if it ain't on claim, it's fair game. I really don't want to spend my time babysitting people on the internet. If you generally piss people off and cause problems I wont hesitate to ban you. More than advertising the server, what I'm actually looking for is feedback about my plugin. I'm happy to provide the .jar directly to anyone wishing to use it, it does not currently have a public download link but is hosted in the discord. Much of my free time goes into writing this plugin, and I'm open to suggestions and requests from those who might be interested in alterations to what I've made so far. I made this plugin because I was becoming increasingly disappointed with servers where plugins were grabbed by the handful and mashed together into a band-aided broken mess (albeit, likely with a good idea behind it). Often so broken and easy to exploit. When I decided to write my own, a large part of my goal was to make a plugin that was more "all encompassing", thinking that that would work better, and be more cohesive than a bunch of separate plugins. This has allowed for some things I've never seen done in other plugins, like mobs that drop custom items which are the ingredients for special recipes… villagers that are unique and spawn like mobs, disappearing in the morning, but while they are around they might sell you some unusual equipment, or maybe have a very good deal on some diamonds? We have armors that give extra hearts and/or apply potion effects when worn, but offer less armor protection than full diamond. Is having 13 hearts and 1/2 armor with permanent Speed II and Regeneration better than standard full diamond? You decide. [link] [comments]  |

Overview At CooeeMC, we value our close-knit community as much as our enchanted diamond equipment. Every member is highly valued and is treated with the respect they deserve. We're mostly all Australian, though we will take great pride in welcoming any internationals as well when they join. The server economy is small, as most of us tend to work for what we want rather than buy what we need. We have random teleporting to help people find where they want to settle more easily than just walking around for several minutes only to realise you aren't even that far from spawn. Our live-map has most of the world rendered though this won't take too much away from the exploration aspect of the game, as well as in-game chat through a special Discord channel on the server's Discord server. We have custom ore generation, and we welcome all donations to keep the server running. We don't go overboard with our ranks, with all available ranks being possible to achieve without having to jump through hoops or be a dedicated and active player (except for maybe staff positions). 'Newbies' are limited by what they can do to minimise any malicious intent they may have, so as a result we kindly ask people apply for Member at the website to access the creative world as well as various other permissions in the survival world. So far we've had two successful seasons as a small-mid size server and now, for the 1.15 Minecraft update, we're moving on to our third season. We currently have about 15 people confirmed, and hopefully more to come. Here's an album showing what was accomplished last season. We run a handful of datapacks, similar to the Hermitcraft server, for small things such as more efficient crafting and armor stand posing.
