About: The Memelands community originates from a small realm started in the summer of 2018. We wanted to create a survival world for friendly and active players. We eventually had to expand to a server as we grew in numbers. But we faced some problems, as the co-owner left the community suddenly and closed the server. So we decided we to take a break for a few months and come back with much motivation to play. We decided it would be a great idea to start a new server and when 1.14 dropped we had so much motivation. Memelands is different to many other survival servers, in that there are no resets to the map. This is to create a long and interesting history with builds and events in the server. This is only the beginning. We feel like there will always be plenty of fun things to do in Minecraft, because of its endless possibilities. You just have to be creative and open to new ideas. The meme-factor of the server is also something quite unique. We love memes on the server, some more than others of course. Our goal is to create a larger community full of fun and active players. We want to create a fun environment for players like you. As said before, we have no plans on resetting our current map. We want to play on it for as long as possible! The world is completely vanilla except for a few essential datapacks, like one player sleep and such. It started 2019-05-05. We want this server to be as clean as possible from griefers and such. We advice you to think twice about you application before sending it. One where mob spawn rate is increased and damage increased? Good Peeps Survival Server. We don't have any form of monetization/donating in our server it's completely free to play with instant access /decoheads. Basically, we couldn't find a controlled anarchy survival server with vanilla friendly plugins and a spike in the mob rate and mob damage. So we made it ourselves. We do have active players but it's always nice to expand and see what else others bring, be that pvp or insane creations to automatic farms. We welcome everyone and we do not have a white list. We allow everyone the opportunity to try the server. We also allow everyone the use of /decoheads which allows you to personalise your base a lot more and be more creative. Server Rules: - PVP and theft is allowed, ripping down someones base via mass destruction is not. We do have CoreProtect for when this stuff happens but in terms of theft we welcome it. You can steal, you can plunder, you can break player blocks but you cannot rip peoples bases down. A couple of blocks here and there is fine. We do not have any player to player teleportation. We have a single use /sethome and a /spawn. These are your only options in terms of teleportation. /home has a 15 seconds countdown which you must remain still for or it stops. It also has a 300 second cooldown. We plan to keep it going until people grow bored and then wipe for a fresh start. Nobody likes starting again so we offer a place for you to settle down in long-term and have some fun. We do not limit your choice of construction but we do advice keep it mature. Re-fighting is allowed. • Spawn is a little bit of a laggy place due to everyone essentially basing there. If you are playing on a switch, Phone, or Console, I recommend finding another place to base at. • I do have a script set up for backing up the server. A backup is made every hour. • Acheivements are off simply due to making moderation easier. They are not used for cheating in items, building in hard to reach spots, or to give cheating potion effects. They are used for moderation, taking eagle eye view photos, and to change a few game rules. • Speaking of changed gamerules: ▪︎due to the fact that there is no good One Player Sleep system, phantoms are off. ▪︎due to lowering the chance of an accidental raid, patrols are off. I apologize to any and all on the last post who I could not get to; the Realm reached max capacity for days and I couldn't bring in new members. However, we've just launched a new server, so that's no longer an issue! This is a Bedrock Server. Welcome and be wary to all; This land is known as Mercia. Started in 2016, the world has seen 4 different platforms, 4 different Eras, countless wars, clans and players. It's a world that's unique and rich in history. Its history could also be further forged by you. You see Mercia in the Third Age was more similar to Skyrim/Runescape and functioned as an Rpg style Minecraft world with villages, quests, and guilds; some of which you can still find to this day. Its had over 150 members come in since the Fourth age began and there is still plenty of time to join with the newly formed Fifth Age in place. We'll be going back to Quests, player-voted elections in game, and buyable land. The political situation in the world is in turmoil at the moment. Since the wither explosion in the streets of Mercia City, and thereafter, the drop of The Bomb, chaos has plagued the Country. Looting and killing is widespread while the Government is getting back on it's feet. The land is a paint splattered canvas ready to be cleaned and taken. Clans are staking claims for the new world and are adjusting to take more diplomatic approaches in the new world. When you join in, you'll be joining in as an adventurer, ready to take to the roads or the seas to explore the Safe-zone and gain Prestige, or start in the Wilderness as a Bounty Hunter. You can rob, attack, start your own clan, build your own shop, or live freely as a nomad exploring the landscapes. The Safe-Zone is no griefing or PVP, but the Wilderness is open for any and all. Some of the things that makes this Realm different are as goes; Its player voted rules. You have a say in the direction of the Realm. You can vote on what youd like to see happen! Its updated with newer and cooler things almost daily, like for example we've added a currency system that cannot be duplicated or cheated. You can earn money in the game through jobs and dedication. Once you've reached a threshold in our high score counter, you can also start your own shop in one of our safe-zone trading villages or towns. We have mini-games for rewards like OP weapons, permenant effects, Items and more. Currently we have 5 up and there are videos on them. You can also run for office in one of the Safe-Zone Provinces! The High score counter! It shows your dedication in the game and distinguishes your accomplishments. We have a system in place for you to earn it regularly. Our members take the counter importantly and our newer members have made themselves known by working at it. Your hard work will not go unshown! We've also go history chapters about the world! Some players who joined in the last month are in those history chapters. They are history, meaning they aren't ever going away. You can also be in that history! A lot of people joined for the lore alone. Those are just some of the updates, and I'll list some of the cooler areas we have in the world Xenogogue - The notorious base of our most famous player Wraith Island - an outpost that little is known about. Rome - a major thoroughfare that housed numerous players and awesome builds, but was attacked and mostly destroyed in the Wither War during the Fourth age. It is currently being rebuilt by the freelancers. Mercia (Spawn) - the former capital of the Realm. The greatest city there ever was; laid to waste by the bomb. Karajama - New capital with casino and other numerous guilds. However anarchy is reaching there too. Also laid to waste in the Wither War. Sancre Tor' the trading village. Our player-hub for those who make it out of spawn. Has multiple shops and massive walls. This is a Non-grieifing and Non-Pvp zone. It has a designated Arena for fights agreed upon by players. Zinaria, land of the Mooshrooms, located in a great birch tree in the vast forests of Mortania. The Roads of Mercia. Four roads going over 5k Blocks in each direction out of spawn. They are the Gold, Blood, Wither, and Silk roads. New Public Towns, Quests, and competitions are added periodically. I don't want to talk your head off though! We're waiting for you! Our Realm is a big family and I consider all of our members friends. If you're looking for a cool realm to enjoy playing with other people, this is your place! Also!
