Glass and many other blocks should have a "frost" texture in cold biomes when exposed to the sky

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 04:52 AM PST

For example, a wooden block like a barrel or crafting table left out in the cold will gradually frost up like water freezing if in a cold biome. Movement on frosted blocks becomes more ice like, and the colder the biome, the more opaque the frost and more ice-like the movement becomes. You can "melt" the frost by simply putting light sources, or breaking the block. Mining will take a little longer than usual when the block is frosted. Frost appears as a patchy white, like real frost does, and is an overlay. Some blocks like stone are not affected. Entities like beds and anvils cannot frost up.

Flammable blocks should have a smoldering texture when on fire

    Posted: 16 Jan 2020 08:28 PM PST

It just looks weird seeing a block of wool on fire but the wool is white as ever, it would be interesting if a smoldering texture would overlay the block if it is on fire.

    Villager behavior

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 10:44 AM PST

The 1.14 update for villagers added a ton but I feel like 2 things are missing.

Villagers should close their eyes when in a bed.

And villagers should be annoyed when you kick them out of a bed to trade with them, like seriously, wouldnt you be annoyed if someone woke you up in the dead of night in your house to buy something from you? Maybe make the villager in raise their prices for 1 minute when you wake them up which resets when they go back to sleep or the minute runs out.

Things burn faster in warm biomes and burn slower in “wet” biomes.

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 05:22 AM PST

Wet biomes are things with lots of water like oceans, rivers and swamps and biomes that (should) get a lot of rain like jungles. (Although Jungles are warm biomes, they are rainforests so it makes sense it would often be wet/less dry then other biomes).

In "wet" biomes, blocks (but not mobs or players) take longer to burn and spread less often.

Warm biomes are mostly biomes with the dry looking grass of savannas and deserts. Basically, the reverse of wet ones, things burn faster and the chances of fire spreading is very noticeably higher.

Blowpipe as a new rapid range weapon

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 10:52 AM PST

Since Mojang won't add guns and decided to only uses middle aged weapons. A blowpipe probably be a best bet. Think about it, a bow shoots projectiles normally and crossbow shoot projectiles slower but with high damage. But sadly there's no weapon that shoots fast in a far distance. Then this might be a great addition to the gamein range combat.

The idea on how this functions is the blowpipe can shoot small projectiles rapidly (not in a machine gun way) faster than a bow. The blowpipe can stack ammo up and shot up to 5 or more when used a certain enchantment. The projectiles are smaller than arrows and projectiles can't be picked up back after used as it was destroyed by impact. The reloading time for blowpipes will probably be a +1 longer than a crossbow. The projectiles for the blowpipe will be iron balls made out of iron nuggets and an alternative gold balls made of gold ingots. However, the gold balls are special because it can be dipped with lingering potions like the arrows and give status effect. The damage imput for the iron balls when shot will probably be 2.5 and the Gold balls could be weaker than that. The blowpipe can be crafted with bamboos, feathers and or probably something else (I couldn't think of something).

This is my first post in this subreddit so I hope you guys like this idea of mine, cuz this is the longest text I've done and thank you for your time.

    New Ore In The End!

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 01:36 AM PST

The End islands are missing something... once you find a elytra and some chorus fruit there is no real need to go back and visit the end islands ever again. To fix this we need to add a new ore that would spawn in the end islands.

This ore would be called Onyx! It could be used to craft a block, that is the opposite colour to quartz so completly black. Onyx can also be used to craft slabs and stairs.

I Present you... The Pillager Fort! (Images Inside)

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 04:11 PM PST

You see, we don't know too much about the pillagers. All we know is that they're sworn enemies to villagers, and are good at building towers. Thats why, we need the Pillager Fort!

You see, this is kind of where the Pillagers come from. They live in forts in the woods, to spy on the Villager enemies. Pillager forts spawn within a 600 block range (Yes, I know that sounds close but it is very far) of a village, so now you know where they are coming from when they raid a village!

Inside the Pillager Fort, is around 7-12 Pillagers, and a Ravager. The loot table for the Pillager Fort is pretty simple, (This goes for each chest, not the entire fort!)

    Item Amount Chance
    Spruce Log 2-4 100%
    CrossBow 1 100%
    Wheat 3-5 70%
    Carrot 2-6 70%
    Bottle O' Enchanting 1-2 68.5%
    Saddle 1 30%
    Arrow 6-12 60%
    String 2-5 20%
    Potato 3-5 70%
    Enchanted Book 1-2 35%
    Emerald 3-7 70%
Music Disc (Pillagers love music!) 1-2 42.5%
    Pumpkin 1-3 40%
    Iron 4-9 30%
    Firework Rocket 1-2 22.5%
TNT (Hmm, I wonder what they planned on doing with it...) 2-4 20%

Hope you guys enjoyed my Idea! I spent a long time on it, please let me know what I can change to improve it, As i will be adding this to my 1.15 Exploration And Adventure Edition Mod. Thank you!

Vote for it on the Minecraft Feedback page if you want it in game!

    Redstone passage

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 08:31 AM PST

Add some kind of covers to pass the redstone in the ground (maybe the walls) without the need to leave a block of space because it is hot for buildings

Sounds for crafting tables and furnaces.

    Posted: 16 Jan 2020 07:06 PM PST

At the moment, a lot of other blocks such as looms and stonecutters have their own sounds when you take an item out. This isn't the case for crafting tables though

I think that it should sound like an anvil, but a bit quieter and only one or two hits.

The furnace should make a firey "woosh" sound, like heat is escaping.

When smelting iron and gold items you get more nuggets back depending on the durability and material cost

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 04:08 PM PST

When smelting items down currently you get one nugget 1/9 of an ingot this doesn't change if you have a shovel on one durability or a chestplate on full durability. I think each item should give a different amount of nuggets back depending on the cost but never more than an ingot, the amount of nuggets will decrease depending on the durability

Add different flying duration rockets to the creative inventory

    Posted: 16 Jan 2020 10:23 PM PST

It shouldn't be that much visible as normal because it would take much space but if you search "firework rocket" it should give you all 3 fligh durations like it is with searching certain enchants(when you search "protection" it gives you protection I-IV books).

    Bamboo Forest Upgrades

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 01:02 AM PST

Recently Bamboo Forests are hard to find and boring. So I suggest some ideas!

    Rarity

Bamboo Forests should be more common. It's rarity should be similar to Dark Oak Jungles.

    Structures

There aren't much structures in this biome, so I suggest the Moon House.

    Moon House

The Moon House is a new structure only found in Bamboo Forests. It is long and has a Japanese feel. Rabbits and similar to Woodland Mansions, Illagers live there. The chest loot uses the Woodland Mansion Table.

    Bamboo Night Challenge

Once in a while, villages will be shrouded in night. Players then will need to beat a Moon House. Upon beating, players get the advancement "Imperishable Night".

the tooth rattling. a wind up slingshot that fires multiple teeth at once (teeth are dropped by some mobs)

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 10:14 AM PST

So the tooth rattler is a rapid fire wind up spring powered tooth launcher. depending on how long you hold down the fire button (just like drawing back a bow) will determine how many teeth you fire at once. you can hold it for a mere moment and fire 1 or 2 teeth at once, or you can hold it to its maximum and fire 8 at once (about 1.5 to 2 seconds wind up). I picture it making a satisfying pfffft sound rapidly as each tooth flies out the tip

teeth do not cause any knockback and only minimal damage and you could burn through your supply quickly with overuse but it fills a nice combat niche.

    how to get teeth?
teeth are dropped by zombies and skeletons rarely in small amounts (1 or 2 per drop, not common drop at all) but if you want a larger supply you will need to hunt spiders, especially cave spiders (its about time they had a use) who have a higher chance at dropping their "teeth" (well fangs really, maybe we could have different kinds of teeth from different mobs for different effects)
