About us We are a community that likes to keep our server a friendly and welcoming place. Our staff is passionate about the game, dedicated to the community and will work hard to ensure we are around for years to come. We will have someone available to help you around the clock no matter how big or small your problem is and they will help you in a professional manner.
We will not reset until new content is released. We strive for an experience as close to Vanilla Survival as Minecraft will allow in multi-player. All installed plugins serve an administrative purpose. No plugins have been installed in order to limit or enhance gameplay. We use Coreprotect and Prism for logging block and chest transactions, this will help guard you against unwanted theft and griefing. The average age on the server is around 21. Our server runs a greylist so feel free to drop in and check us out. There is no pressure at all, spend as much time as you'd like looking around and chatting with the community. Why should I join?Well, just to give you some background, HearthCraft has been a SMP server for anyone for a year now. We've been giving people smiles, fun times, memories, and friends to people of all kinds since October 2018. If you're a Minecraft veteran, I assume you've been in these kinds of servers: 1) Everyone is just minding their own business. The chat is too flooded to notice you join. 2) An overly strict and tight one where the staff members, among all people, are the ones rude to you. 3) A hub server that's just... soulless. We are currently looking to expand our player base to make the server a bit more lively and to play with others. The server is about 1 year old but we are still far from done. The server is 99,9% vanilla, no mods, only a small datapack to allow people to sleep if others are AFK, and the more heads datapack from Hermitcraft, which allows most monsters to drop their head, though the chances are slim. We have a few plugins but these are only to keep logs and backups in case anyone griefs or steals. All your stuff is safe here, and we will of course repair all damage and return stolen items should anything happen. As a server we can promise 99,9% uptime and minimal amounts of lag. We also pride ourselves on our community which is always helpful and nice towards old and new. We try to help each other out and work together as much as possible. I, as the owner, have run countless servers before and i have many years of experience with it. I've also played on countless servers that was, eventually, shut down for whatever reason. I know the feeling of losing the ability to play on a server you've worked on for very long, and for that reason I can promise you, the player, a steady server that won't go down for any unexpected reason. We are hoping to run it for at least 1-2 years, and when the day comes for the server to shut down, whether it be 2 or 10 years, we will give out the world to everyone that wishes it so that their progress is never lost. As of right now we are also working on a game hub for players to use. We currently have a wrestling arena, a fully functioning chess board (using only vanilla mechanics), checkers, and a WIP boatrace but there is still a lot more to come! We've also just finished a Capture the flag arena, with even more minigames to come! New to the server is also lore! We have written and published lore behind the server and "gods" that inhabit it. We are making events with this lore and players can travel the wilderness to locate hidden dungeons and find more lore books, all using vanilla mechanics. SoftSlayer has been around for over 8 years now, though a lot of the players have moved on from Minecraft, there's a pretty dedicated community that still plays a bunch of games together (obviously including Minecraft). While we cannot promise that we'll have amazing breath-taking features like many other servers might advertise, what we can promise is that Pandora Craft will be a server focused primarily on player interaction and having fun. What that means in short is that we're interested in building a community centered around and shaped by you the player. Features We Have to OfferThe Map We currently offer 2 custom maps along with the standard main world, end world, and nether. The 2 custom maps are the Resource World and the Creative World. Size Currently, both the Main World and Resource World are limited to 50k Blocks by 50k Blocks in size, with the Creative World currently having no limit. To Reset Or Not To Reset To keep resources flowing and worlds fresh, we will be resetting the Resource World (every month), Nether World (every month), and End World (Every 3 Months). The Creative World is available to all players who reach a certain rank, once you've reach that rank, you can spend all the time you want building to your heart's content. Plugins We all love vanilla Minecraft, but the biggest problem with vanilla Minecraft is that well… it's vanilla! In order to make things a little less vanilla, we've added a ton of different plugins to enhance your day to day Minecraft life. One of the biggest game changing plugins we've added would be the Advanced Enchantments plugin, which allows for crazy enchantments like being able to fly or claim another player's head upon killing them. This plugin works along side the vanilla enchantments, allowing for you to do tons of awesome things while you fight/dig/mine/walk/ect. Of course we have stables like Towny (more information below) and mcMMO. mcMMO, for those who don't already know, is a MMO plugin that should be used on every server. It allows players to level up their skills like woodcutting which allows you to preform Tree Feller (cuts down the entire tree by breaking one log) or repair which allows you to fix your broken items! Not to mention leveling up your skills puts you at the top of a list showing who is the best in a particular skill (of course its me). In order to skip walking hundreds of blocks to find your perfect base location, you could instead allow our Wild plugin randomly to teleport you anywhere in the world. It's quick, easy, and there's maybe only a 1% percent chance of death. To protect your chests while inside a town or out, we use LWC or Lightweight Chests. This plugin automatically locks chests you place, allowing for you to keep your diamonds, or other cool items safe from other players. You're also able to allow your friends to access the chests you want them too. We're an economy server by heart, which means you'll need a way to make money. We've added the JobsReborn plugin to fulfill that requirement. Currently there are almost a dozen different jobs (explorer has been disabled on this server) for you to join, level up, and make tons of money in. These jobs will also have quests eventually which will allow for you to get bonus money and items from doing the things you were already doing to begin with. We've set up 19 different ranks to rank up to with the PrisonRanks X plugin. Ranking up will give you special features like /feed, different daily kits, access to a creative world, and many more things. Not to mention our highest rank will have the ability to Fly. While voting isn't required and will not be forced by any means at all, doing so will grant you with Voter Keys and money. We currently use Votifier/VotingPlugin for verifying and registering all votes casted. Now… I mentioned Voter Keys a minute ago. Voter Keys are one of 3 different Key types you can get on this server. All keys are only used at the crates located at spawn. Our crates are handled by a plugin called CrazyCrates. There are 3 different crates available, those being the Voter Crate, Common Crate, and Rare Crate. The Voter Crate will give our Common and Rare Keys and the Common and Rare Crates will reward pretty cool items like spawners, music discs, money, and elytra wings just to name a few. Another way to make money would be to sell to other players. To make this process easy, we have Quick Shops, which make selling things so easy, you won't even know you're doing it. To go along with Quick Shops mentioned above, we have a shop plot area to allow players to set up shop and sell their tras---I mean valuables. These shops are handled by AdvancedRegionMarket and can be accessed via a warp. If you're feeling a bit lazy and don't want to warp, we have AuctionHouse which lets you put your items up for auction for all players to bid on. We all hate normal dungeons, there all the same, right? At least I believe so. So we've added a custom dungeon plugin that creates massive randomly spawning and generating structures for players to explore and die in. This is all thanks to OhTheDungeonsYoullGo. Plus, with MineableSpawners, you'll be able to pick up any spawners you come across, as long as you're the proper rank first. If you're up for a bit of chat fun, we have WordGamesPlus, which tests your knowledge of Minecraft blocks against all other players. Getting it right will reward you will Common Keys, so that's good, right? A new addition to our plugins would be PetBlocks. PetBlocks are exactly what they sound like. Blocks that can be Pets! From Ugandan Knuckles to random player heads, all is possible. Also, with your pets, you can rename them, wear them as hats and ZOOOOOM around the Minecraft world while riding them like a horse. And they cluck like chickens! What more could you ask for? Information About TownyBeing a towny focused server, this is our main plugin. In order to help out newer players first joining, both myself (NotTheodore) and Ghost(Ghostifique) have opened a Newbie town. This town is open for anyone to join and everyone can join if they want. The only caveat is that after two weeks, you must leave the town to either create your own or join another town. If you join the server and are worried about your items or house being griefed, this might be just he thing for you. You'll also be given as much assistance as we can with anything you might need help with. As long as it isn't breaking the rules of course! You'll be able to build a house and store your items safely while you work your way up the ranks, I recommend you check it out if you interested. | Posted: 08 Feb 2020 08:15 AM PST We are an old (est. 2015) longstanding survival server. At the moment we do have around 5-6 active players and we are looking for more to join. Our main guideline to leave the "meta" of pure Vanilla survival as unaltered as possible (for a public server). The only 3 plugins that interfere with this are: GriefPrevention, a sleep voting plugin, and player item shops to trade with each other. That means as many features from other plugins you know from other servers are absent by design and won't be added. There are just two ranks "new" and "player", they do not grant any benefits. You can not buy any form of power for real money and there are no admin shops. Everything you see on the server was build and farmed in survival. Updating to 1.15 will occur when plugins are updated. Towns & Owning LandThe core gameplay on the server is Towny-based. With this plugin, you can create your own towns and band together with others to create nations. Join a town or grow your own by creating plots to sell, or collect taxes on players to support your upkeep cost. For those who aren't as interested in town gameplay, you can settle in one of the many admin-built towns instead. Either way, you've got the ability to create and protect a home of your own while you earn server currency by working jobs or selling items. Trade with other players, or purchase rare items and tools and weapons with special effects. Visit the different towns of the server to find new items and deals that you can't get anywhere else. Bosses, Dungeons, and Rare ItemsThere are multiple bosses distributed throughout the server. Explore the towns and find clues about where you can fight the bosses. Each boss on the server drops a special item which, which has abilities beyond those which would be normally obtainable. The harder the boss, the better the loot! Some bosses need more than one player to defeat, and the best of the drops don't have a 100% drop rate, so you may need to take them out a few times! Along with the standard bosses, we also have seasonal dungeons. Recently, we had a "Zombie Santa" boss, who had multiple seasonal exclusive drops which players were able to collect. We have many more bosses in the works which will be available to fight coming soon! Throughout the world, you have a chance of finding a "Leveled Mob", which is a powered-up version of the mob itself. These mobs have nameplates so you can identify that they will be more difficult to defeat. With this challenge, however, comes a chance for reward! Leveled mobs have a chance of dropping rare diamond armor and weapons, which have higher resistance and damage values than normal. The further out in the world you go, the better the loot can get - but watch out, the mobs get pretty tough, too! Essentials, etc.All players have access to /home (5 Homes), /spawn, /tpa, /town, /pay, in addition to several others that make gameplay a bit less tedious. McMMO is enabled on our server! We also have the McMMO Horses add-on, which allows you to train and summon horses. Jobs is enabled on our server! Players can join up to three jobs, and level up their job skills to earn more money by doing specific actions.
