Released to the public on 4th Febuary 2020, Classic Survival is an old school style survival server, we offer our players a semi-vanilla experience with a few plugins to make your survival journey a little easier.
We offer all our players access to /tpa, allowing you to teleport to your friends without the hassle of having to walk tens of thousands of blocks to find their base. We allow all of our players to set up to 3 unique homes, giving you the opportunity to travel quickly to different bases.

ban land is a young server (roughly ~9 months old) with a very simple premise: no rules no map resets no world border (up to the maximum Minecraft supports; which is ~30 million meters in any direction) extra/harder mechanics to make it interesting
There is a no spawn protection - rather, the remnants of a spawn platform. Players spawn within a set distance from (0, 0) on the X and Z coordinates randomly - (0, 0) is effectively the world center. After you join you can find others or venture out on your own. The overall goal is to build up your resources, travel to the edge of the world, and compete with others to escape the land of the banned.
WARNING: Because there are no rules, that means there is no moderation. As a result, there is no filtered chat and no censorship. Keep in mind you may see VERY unpleasant messages in chat or in game while on this server that will not be suitable for all ages or people. If that does not sit well with you, please do not connect. Q: Is this vanilla? Sort of. It is vanilla in the sense of vanilla survival. However, there are custom features or tweaks on the server that are new, including Giants, teleportation structures, increased difficulty, etc. You can receive basic supplies such as food or tools by voting. It is slated to be a more "vanilla" experience, with the least amount of commands possible.
Q: Why should I play on ban.land and not another anarchy/chaos server? A: We are here to stay - permanently. This server will by funded out of pocket by administration ad infinitum. Builds will stand the test of time. History will not be erased. Rollbacks and/or downtime will be (hopefully) non-existent. Beyond the normal Minecraft gameplay, there are mechanics and plans to add spice to gameplay on ban land. Currently implemented features:
All features are intended to be vanilla friendly/accessible.
Q: Are there actually no rules? A: Yes. Hacking is permitted, but heavily restricted. Things like flying, super speed, kill aura/forcefield, and the like are all monitored by anticheat to prevent it from getting out of hand. More common hacks that are actually usable on the server include: xray, ESP, minimaps, baritone/bots, etc. Players should more or less be on a level playing field. Regardless, there are custom features being added constantly to level the gameplay even with hacking factored in. The only way to get "banned" from ban land is to try and attack the server directly (denial of service, harassment, etc). We are here to play Minecraft.
Q: Okay cool, but I am concerned about the longevity of this server. Are map resets truly never happening? How do I know you will be online in a year? A: We will continue to fund and support the server indefinitely until it is no longer feasible. If a situation were to occur where we can no longer operate it, we would give a long prior notice to the community. In the case of map resets - no, they are never happening. There may be points where the "original" map is temporarily replaced or put offline (Mojang changing game storage formats, bugs, fixes, corruptions, repairs), however it will always be the intention for the original map to remain. Regular backups will occur for the map as required.

We have a large number of game-enhancing plugins, including Towny, McMMO, Mythic Mobs with great custom bosses, chest shops, crates, auctions and auction house, quests, treasure hunts, etc! These plugins help players have the best experience, whether it's having fun with friends or getting down to business by having the best town. Our staff also hosts events like trivia and drop parties (all with items obtained legitimately) and competitions! We have many ambitions but are focused entirely on Survival, Skyblock, and Competative/Casual KitPvP to start with. We currently have a strong player base for only being a server for less than 2 weeks. We're growing fast and would love to see some more new faces! This includes Discord Servers, websites or services, and any form of self promotion. Posting of downloadable files is not allowed. This is to protect you and the other users of the community. The staff are not responsible for any files you receive and download from Discord. No offensive, or inappropriate names. Don't constantly insult/bash other members or have heated arguments with other members. No deliberate trolling of other members (e.g. giving them misleading information or just being annoying in general). As it stands right now, there is no restrictions of the building, as long as it doesnt harm others. We will be adding more content to the server like shopping districts and such things in the near future if theres enough interest on the server. Go to trainer for training skills. You can reset skills in trainer menu. Quests Quests are tasks. Completing quests are rewarded with items, coins, exp and such. You can do same quest in every 24 hours. Gems Gems can be acquired from mobs, quests, shop and crafting. Gems gives direct buffs, like stats. You have 3 gem slots from start. New gem slots can be unlocked using rubies. Right click fletching table to place gems to their slots. PvP PvP is player versus player. (fighting) There is 4 ways you can do PvP.
Dueling can be done anywhere too, but just one players against one player.
Setting /pvp off wont make a difference.
Scrolls Scrolls are item power ups. Can be applied to every equipment. Used in crafting table. Equipment in middle and scroll on any other slot. Scrolls has a chance to break items. Broken items can not be used, until fixed with repairer. Repairer can be buyed with rubies. Gods Gods gives direct power buffs. To select a god, you need to kill Iron golem boss. You can select god in trainer menu. You can change your choice later with rubies. Treasures There are treasures(chest) hided everywhere. Treasures gives you random item(s) at treasure level. You can collect a treasure just one time. Every player can collect the same treasure and get different items. Territory Territories are capturable areas. (by parties) Every 23.5 hours, PvP is opened for 30 minutes. Current territory owners protects villagers. Enemies kills villagers to conquer the territory. If enough villagers killed, killers will be the new owner. Brewing Brewing is creating potions with flowers. Flowers can be found randomly around map. Potions gives you direct powers for a duration. Duration and Power can be increased. You can make potions using brewing stands Eg: {offensive setter > damage > increase duration/power > complete with complement > combine with other potions} to make a multi power potion.
