We are looking for long-term players who equally enjoy the simplicity of Minecraft vanilla gameplay as well as players who want to participate in an active community and economy. Our map (lots of pictures here) is just two months old, so there's lots to see, but also still lots to do. The server has an extremely active economy, with some players even teaming up to create companies for global domination! We are a very close community and like to have a laugh. Discord Discord is now a requirement to join the server, as it is how we release all important updates as well as dates for events. Lots of our players use the voice chat channels to talk & chill whilst playing, and you can also post pictures and chat in the text channels. You can join the Discord through this link. Community Events We have two week building events where players can enter to win a Discord rank and/or a coloured name in chat! When a player gets killed they will drop a head. This does not mean that we encourage PVP, and any unwarranted/random killings are met with a 3 day ban with no warning.
When you kill a mob, there is a slight chance it will drop it's head. 1.16 The server will be updated to 1.16 as soon as possible, but this will not be immediate and depends on a lot of things. I can give no timescale on this but the performance of the server is my number one priority so I will not be rushing out the update unnecessarily. The nether will be almost entirely reset, excluding the North, East, South and West branches of the roof nether hub. This ensures that everyone will have access to the new nether content immediately, instead of having to travel super far out. We are using the vanilla tweaks datapacks, we have a dynamap, and we are currently running on Spigot 1.15.2. On release of 1.16 we will reset the nether allowing access to the new nether. We are 3 weeks into our first season (Season 1 will end on the release of 1.17/1.18.) and are now starting to build mega bases. We are using the commonly known Hermitcraft Season 7 seed. It is all survival vanilla, plus some hermit craft plugins. There is a shopping district and money is diamonds. All the bosses have been beaten many many times so the entire server is in late-game meaning if you join a corporation and put in a few hours of effort you will be on your way. There are no world boarders in any dimension! The server is going to reset the nether on the next update but the nether highway will be re-established in hours👍. We will not reset until new content is released. We strive for an experience as close to Vanilla Survival as Minecraft will allow in multi-player. All installed plugins serve an administrative purpose. No plugins have been installed in order to limit or enhance gameplay. We use Coreprotect and Prism for logging block and chest transactions, this will help guard you against unwanted theft and griefing. The average age on the server is around 21. Here at WiffleBlocks there are plugins such as TreeCutter, which provides easy, fast and satisfying chopping of trees, factions, so you can create a faction with your friends and talk to each privately through there. We also have QualityArmoury which is a plugin that adds in guns to make gameplay a little more fun, along with PvP.
