Posted: 12 Apr 2020 03:10 AM PDT It should also give little experience to justify the achievement name. I could see this being like a hidden trophy / worth a bunch of xbox gamer points. This could also work in the game for it making sense. You would also get the golden apple (unenchanted of course). I posted this originally on r/shittymcsuggestions but they said its to good for there. [link] [comments] |
Adding Crimson/Warped Vines to Blackstone Bricks will give it a “mossy” variant. Posted: 12 Apr 2020 11:51 AM PDT Adding the two new Nether vines in a crafting table with blackstone bricks would give the bricks a "mossy" variant, while still looking different from mossy stone bricks. Both vines could make two different textures, as in they wouldn't just be recolors. I think this would be a really unique building block especially in new Nether structures. [link] [comments] |
Crafting a Compass with a Totem of Undying creates a Compass of Mortality. Posted: 12 Apr 2020 10:58 AM PDT It points to the location where you last died. This would add more uses to the Totem of Undying, which as an endgame item is fairly underwhelming, seeing how hard they are to obtain \)citation: ImpulseSV's Totem shop in Hermitcraft s7\) as well as not being too OP. I think it could look like a compass with the Totem replacing the compass needle. As always, thanks for reading! :) [link] [comments] |
Ringing a bell should count as a block update Posted: 12 Apr 2020 12:11 PM PDT It's self explanatory. A bell ringing should be classified as a state change, and therefore be able to be detected by an observer. [link] [comments] |
If we're gonna get bastions in the nether, why not more Nether ruins? Posted: 12 Apr 2020 11:25 AM PDT Ruins in the ocean take many forms, so why wouldn't the nether have more structure variation than just fortresses? Possible ideas: Abandoned bastions: Pretty much the nether version of the overworld's abandoned village. Fallen towers: Giant cylindrical towers made of blackstone/ cracked blackstone bricks that have toppled and fallen on their sides into ruins. Contains chests randomly strewn around the area. Spawns in basalt deltas. lava watchtower: Functions similarly to a witch hut, spawning in the middle of lava lakes. Contains valuable loot as well as a cauldron filled with water, the only way of finding water in the nether. Wither temple: Large desert temple-like structures that spawn in soulsand valleys. These temples are dedicated to the wither, are lit with soul torches, and are the only place to find wither roses. They contain chests full of average to above average loot, as well as soulsand, wither roses, coal, and bones. Nether pillars: These are large pillars which have been left to ruins, some still standing, some not. They are constructed out of polished basalt, and Blackstone bricks. These are one of the few places to find crying obsidian, other than bartering, with a few blocks of the stuff being strewn about the place. They also contain chests of high tier loot, though, these places are guarded heavily by a possibly new mob. These spawn in every biome. Nether fortress (balancing): This may be controversial, but I believe nether fortresses are much too common. They're not a challenge to find most of the time and are mostly a chore to enter the late-mid game. With these other structures and of course the new biomes, I believe it would make sense for them to be more rare, since they are the only place for blazes/wither skeletons to spawn after all. Their overall structure and loot should also be updated to fit modern minecraft. After finding one, you should be awarded with high tier loot, as well as an epic structure. [link] [comments] |
Mansions and ocean monuments should have boss bars Posted: 12 Apr 2020 03:34 AM PDT There are 2 boss mobs in the game: the ender dragon and the wither. However raids have their boss bar too so they are considered a "boss" challenge. Because woodland mansions and ocean monuments both have their dedicated maps and are difficult, I think they should have a boss bar too. (raid bar is orange for comparison) Ocean monument boss bar is cyan colour and decreases as elder guardians die and woodland mansion boss bar is brown and decreases as vindicators and evokers die. I think it would be a neat addition and it would be useful to know if you killed all the important enemies in that particular dungeon. [link] [comments] |
Fletching table feature: arrow modification Posted: 12 Apr 2020 10:13 AM PDT I saw this in a youtube comment thread a while back and added some stuff to it. The fletching table GUI will have two slots: one for arrows, and one for an upgrade material. The applicable items are as follows:
Each arrow can only have one of the enhancements added to it. Potions are still applicable. [link] [comments] |
Thrown Eyes of Ender should not pathfind towards active end portals. Posted: 12 Apr 2020 06:38 AM PDT This would make locating multiple strongholds so much easier. [link] [comments] |
Nether starts shouldn’t burn in lava and fire Posted: 12 Apr 2020 02:45 AM PDT It doesn't get destroyed by explosions so why would it burn in fire? I mean it's the energy core of a dimension literally covered in lava and fire. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Apr 2020 07:29 AM PDT Using a iron ingot on anvil will repair it.(It's same as repairing iron golems) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Apr 2020 11:38 AM PDT This is probably on the fps list, but it would really be helpful to have in-game. Its so annoying to have this problem. [link] [comments] |
When dying, if not to a player, Evokers will be able to use a totem 1 time. Posted: 12 Apr 2020 05:46 AM PDT Maybe there could be a 10% or less chance for them to use it against a player. Just an extra little detail that will justify evokers having their totem in the first place While attacking players, evokers are probably too occupied using their magic to defend themselves, instead of pulling out a totem of undying. Though that small chance to revive can make them that much harder. [link] [comments] |
Renaming weapons and armor should not take XP Levels. Posted: 12 Apr 2020 05:19 AM PDT We should not have to use our XP for a completely cosmetic change to our items. Sometimes items take upwards of 33 levels *just to rename*. Some are just 'too expensive'. 'Too expensive' to perform a completely negligible action that only you and those looking at chat can really appreciate anyway. Edit: For nametags, I understand, they actually change the mob they name so they can't despawn. That's more reasonable. For weapons and armor, not so much. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Apr 2020 10:25 AM PDT I would like to see a rarish block which can muffle nearby sounds. This is great for a variety of uses, including disguising a trap, silencing annoying mobs or redstone, using nether portal particles as decoration without the constant whooshing noise, or just making a room very quiet and spooky. The block would work by reducing the volume of any sound which "passes through" the block, which I believe is easy to do since the source of the sound and the location of the player are accessible already. Sounds which have no origin, such as eerie noises or ambient music, are instead deadened based on the player's proximity to soundproofing blocks. I don't have a ton of ideas for design; could have something to do with sponges, or wool, or cobwebs perhaps. Let me know if you've got any neat ideas. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Apr 2020 12:04 PM PDT Have every hostile mob in the game (besides the Ender Dragon) chasing you at the same time. [link] [comments] |

Fletching Table can be used to tip arrows Posted: 12 Apr 2020 12:30 PM PDT The Fletching Table now has a use. It has two slots in it. One slot is where you place an arrow. The other slot is where you place a potion. Any potion type works. Using a potion turns it into a glass bottle and tips the arrow. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Apr 2020 09:58 AM PDT So in the nether I can get leather armor from hoglins or piglin bartering, but I realized I can't add any color to it since there aren't any natural dyes in the dimension. I suggest being able to get: - black dye from blackstone (which is okay because it doesn't really spawn in large quantities) OR from wither roses if they are added to one of the new biomes. - red dye from crimson roots and wart blocks - cyan dye from warped roots and warped wart blocks - maybe even yellow dye from glowstone so I can make orange [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Apr 2020 06:47 AM PDT You can remove the moss off of mossy cobblestone by either lighting it on fire or if it gets struck by lightning, same goes for all he other mossy items like slabs, bricks and walls [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Apr 2020 11:51 AM PDT Instead of clicking it many time to see if someone has left. There should be a queue system so 1st person waiting will always join 1st [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Apr 2020 11:27 AM PDT Dont you hate it when you go mining and somehow spend a full minute looking through your cluttered inventory looking for your spare pick? So do I. My suggestion is to add a little sorting icon that would automatically sort your items (alphabetically, in horizontal or vertical columns, etc. Each having their own icon.). Chests would have this and possibly a search bar. Maybe even an option to sort your inventory each time you pick something up? [link] [comments] |
Soul Glass, Soul Crystals and the Dragon of Souls Posted: 12 Apr 2020 02:01 PM PDT Soul GlassSoul Glass is gotten by smelting down Soul Sand in a Furnace. It is a glass block with a brown tint to the white parts (not the clear parts) with interesting properties; it blocks light and it increases mob spawns in the area. So it's not useful for putting in your home but it could be useful in mob grinders. Soul CrystalsUsing the same recipe as regular End Crystals except using Soul Glass in place of Glass creates a Soul Crystal. Placeable on bedrock, obsidian, soul sand, soul soil, and soul glass, soul crystals create a much larger explosion than its Ender counterpart and produces soul fire. The Dragon of SoulsHeading to the End and placing four Soul Crystals in the same spots as you would place End Crystals spawns the Dragon of Souls. It has 500 health and spawns Soul Crystals on top of the obsidian towers, healing the dragon. Four of them are covered in iron bars. The dragon has five attacks: Soul Breath, usable to create combined extended/more potent potions, a charge attack, a flapping wings attack, a spit attack using Soul Breath, and a Soul Fire attack. When it gets down to 250 health, it spawns Shulkers and Endermites around the End Island. Killing the Dragon when there are less than 20 End Gateways in existence will spawn an End Gateway. When there are already 20 End Gateways, it spawns a new End Gateway above the End Portal leading to a second End Island where Shulkers naturally spawn and Chorus fruit grows. It will also spawn a second Dragon egg, a blue one called the Egg of Souls which is merely meant for decor. Thanks for reading and happy Easter to those who celebrate it. [link] [comments] |
Bartering for more expensive gold items guarantees that Piglins give you rarer items Posted: 12 Apr 2020 09:21 AM PDT I don't know why Piglins would accept those items otherwise, it just seems rude they'd pick them up without anything. Also quite illogical that for one ingot they'll give you something, but nothing for a gold block, worth 9 ingots. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Apr 2020 04:21 AM PDT So the ice cavern can be found in the snowy mountains. It is just a lonely cavern made of wood in the mountains The cavern doesn't have anyone in it Inside you can find some chests with supplies such as food and items/ the food can be some cooked beef, apples, carrots and bread. The items can be a pickaxe (either gold, iron or stone) a iron sword or stone, some coal, iron, gold and wood The inside will have a campfire while the smoke comes out a chimney, it could have bunk beds inside, some book shelves, lamps, the chests and carpets on the floor [link] [comments] |
Iron golems can be augmented with redstone items Posted: 12 Apr 2020 10:06 AM PDT Certain redstone compatible items could be used to strengthen an iron golem. Ordinary redstone and redstone blocks could be used to increase health. Pistons could increase punch damage of the iron golem. Sticky pistons could do the same, but also allow the iron golem to inflict slowness, as if it's pulling you. Dispensers allow it to fire a projectile, but only one that it has just been hit by. For every trident thrown at it, it can throw one of its own. For every arrow fired at it, the golem can fire one of its own. It also lets you give up to 4 fireworks to the golem that it can fire as a weapon. Droppers will let it pick up certain beneficial items and give them to villagers (or players if made by one) such as food or potions, maybe from a witch? Hoppers will give it a small amount of iron that you can replace. This lets the iron golem automatically heal itself, but the hopper attachment can only hold 12 iron at most. Observer will increase detection range to 24 blocks and allow it to easily detect invisible enemies too. Redstone comparators can measure amounts of something, so this will give an accurate health of the iron golem over its head. In addition, iron golems with both this and the hopper attachment can heal other golems with their iron. The logic in this is because the comparator can measure the health of other golems too. However, they might need that iron themselves later. Daylight sensor will make the golem attracted to well lit areas, so it will stay near your base. Pressure plates will allow the iron golem not to trigger them. Here is the feedback site link, it should be visible once my idea is approved: the feedback site link [link] [comments] |
