It has a few small tweaks that make it more convenient to play while still giving reward for effort. You will always be able to login with a vanilla client as the modifications are all done on the server side. Backups are taken every 30 minutes including to an offsite storage to ensure your builds are not lost. In addition there is a custom block and chest logging tool for admins to prevent griefing. This server is similar Hermitcraft with a capitalist diamond economy. MapWe have a fresh nether map for 1.16. Our map will not reset again. The map seed has been chosen carefully and is unique to this server. In the center are four large mushroom islands. Mushroom islands do not spawn hostile mobs (except for phantoms) so they are great places to build without needing to spawn-proof by spamming lighting. Within 3000 block radius contains every biome possible in version 1.15.2. The map border is 5000x5000 blocks wide. When new biomes are added to MC the border will be expanded to generate them. It's still very new and only a handful of players at different times of the day. This is what makes it good though, starting out in a world and seeing it grow with other users! Server is very vanilla and has a few minor QOL plugins. There are multiple chat channels, the general channel is mature language censored as there are occasionally younger teens, children of the host that play. We have /sethome & /back available and that's really the only modifications we have. It allows you to speed up your gameplay and save up to 3 spots to teleport on a 7 second CD. The server doesn't have any economy plugins yet, but may consider adding them in the future. There isnt claim blocks, but there are claim chests. By putting a sign on your chest it makes it so only you can access it. Building near spawn should stick with spawn village aesthetic. We plan on doing a nether reset for 1.16. We are still in 1.15.2 but planning on updating this afternoon. We have killed end dragon, and built end farm. Willing to provide your first elytra to dedicated players. | Nostalgia Swim [Vanilla] {1.5.6} Posted: 24 Jun 2020 03:46 AM PDT Welcome to Nostalgia Swim! If you have come here for a challenge, look no further! So, a lot of people do not like this server because you spawn in a vast ocean (don't worry it's not THAT big) and its on version 1.5.6 just to make it harder. Depending on your attention span, this may be a problem for you. Those with some forms of ADD must channel their ability in order to cope with this map. The map difficulty is set to Hard. Finding land is not easy. Be creative. I do not want to spoil anything else, but use your mind even if you need help read below. Also, you will spawn on an island but trust me you do not want to live on there most likely because you WILL be raided. There are also players who like to help newcomers (this includes me). But they are not on all the time. Begging for help is annoying, so avoid being needy. When you find land, remember others are looking for land as well. If you make a base on an island within 3 kilometers of spawn, expect your base to be raided. Rules: If you do need more help, read the spoilers below: As mentioned above, spawn is an ocean biome. You can pick any direction to find land. But it will take a very long time. It is a good idea to make camp well before you reach land so that if you have any trouble, you won't find yourself at spawn. So make a bed as soon as possible. Finding land should not be your top priority. Instead, look for cracks in the ocean floor. These cracks may lead to abandoned mines. In abandoned mines you will find wood and cob-webs. 12 cob-webs can be crafted into three wool blocks, which can be used to craft a bed. Sometimes you will find a boat in the middle of the ocean. Take them. They were probably abandoned by a player who gave up. It is also best to avoid the cardinal directions. Meaning, if you go North for 1000 blocks, someone's going to find you quite quickly. But if you go slightly East as you travel North, you are a lot less likely to be found. The most important thing is to pace yourself. Accept the fact that you will not find land right away. It is not just over the horizon. Landfall depends on what direction you travel. Some directions have land closer than others. Like I said, this is version 1.5.6, just to make it harder.
