| Posted: 21 Sep 2020 07:07 AM PDT The Community Chest is, as the name states, a community oriented server. Our main focus is on our players and making sure they have an enjoyable experience both on the server and in our community. Our staff is well experienced with nearly all senior staff having previous experience on multiple servers and in some cases having years-worth of experience in running and/or staffing servers! Our server went live for season two on June 26th, 2020 with a fresh map for 1.16. We currently run paper spigot on a dedicated server hosted out of the EU. Don't worry though! The majority of our players play from North America and have zero latency issues! Being a Vanilla+ server we also run several plugins and datapacks to increase quality of life and accessibility of the server, none of our plugins fundamentally alter the game in a detrimental way. Since our orientation is very much towards community interaction a requirement for joining the server is a working microphone and interest in voice chatting, we're all very friendly people so if you aren't comfortable at first we're sure you'll find your stride! Along the same lines, we are explicitly an 18+ server, there are players under that age limit that have been grandfathered in but any new players must be 18 and older. As stated above our main focus is always the players, we as the staff strive to provide events, challenges, and goals to the players to encourage interaction and cooperation on our server. To date our biggest event was our TCC Olympics! There were competitions such as Horse Racing, Javelin Throwing, Parkour, and many more! The event lasted a total of a week with dozens of events hosted by various players across the world. We don't run just major events though, we have had custom challenges, riddles, and impromptu PvP events at various vendors! Of course we understand that players can get burnt out of Minecraft so we offer events outside of Minecraft, such as movie nights (when players are interested) and game nights where we play various party games (lately we've all been playing Among Us). We are on our second year with a solid group of long term players. We've all been having fun doing new map antics and building our new bases. The server is in Montreal and sports 16GB of RAM and hermitcraft datapacks. Additionally we have a community creative server available. You can collaborate with other players in creative, or test you redstone contraptions on a server environment. We ask that you be at least 16, but this is not a deal breaker. We have an active community with vibrantly personalities from across the world. Many players choose to play with friends and family. For an idea of what we've made, I've linked a few screenshots from our server, such as someone's base or our nether hub or giant farms. We've also recently had a big war event of capture the flag, in which lots of players participated. We have more pictures on our discord as well. We have a central town to build shops, and an area set aside just for building mini-games. Our server runs on diamonds and trust for currency, helping reinforce our community as we build out. Our specific datapacks include: AFK Name Changer - Displays a persons's name slightly lighter in the tab menu when they are AFK. Anti-Enderman Grief - Prevents endermen from picking up your stuff. Good riddance. Custom Armor Stands - Allows you to pose armor stands with the use of a special book. (The free book vendor can be found at spawn.) Dragon Drops Elytra - Self-explanatory. Double Shulker Shells - Shulkers will always drop two shells- guaranteed. More Mob Heads - Allows you to receive the respective mob head from any mob as a rare drop when killed. Multiplayer Sleep - Allows the progression to day with only one person sleeping Kill Cod - Cod can lag the server due to an AI bug, so "/trigger kc_KillCod" kills all naturally spawned cod. Silence Mobs - Got a bunch of mobs making noise in your base? Rename a name tag to "silence me" without the quotes and the mob will no longer make noise. Terracotta Wrench - Do you want to be able to place terracotta without 5 hours of painstaking placement to get a nifty pattern? Then this is for you! We run a few mods for server performance. Carpet Mod, Lithium and Phosphorus all help with lag and provide a few extra tools on the main server. Our creative server also has WorldEdit available and all players have access to the commands from Carpet Mod. Our core rules are pretty straight forward: No griefing. Griefing is the intentional destruction or deletion of others property. No stealing. No duplicating items, utilizing cheats, hacked clients, x-raying, or anything else that can give you an advantage that other players do not have. TNT entity duplication is allowed for the purposes of limited perimeter clearing, and in blast chambers for farms. World eaters are not allowed. No non-consensual PvP. Killing of other players without consent is highly frowned upon and can net you punishment. PvP that has been agreed to beforehand is allowed. Language Policy - No offensive, homophobic, racist, etc. statements. Do not harass other users. This is a family friendly server; several player have their children or young siblings play with them so please watch your language. Do not spam the chat. Be mindful of other builds. If a creeper blows up you need to make an effort to assist in the repair. Pranks may be conducted. However, your pranks must be easily reversible. Examples include building funny (but appropriate) things on top of someone's base or trapping them inside an obsidian or infinity box. Wondercraft is a whitelisted survival Minecraft server looking for long-term players who want to participate in an active and friendly community. The core of our server is the community; We pride ourselves on having a super friendly and welcoming group from all around the world. Everybody is welcome here! Many of us voice chat regularly, especially during our events. Our server is heavily Hermitcraft inspired and is built on trust. The only plugins/datapacks we have are either for server maintenance or have been voted in by the community for quality of life improvements. The server will never stray too far from vanilla gameplay, this means no teleporting commands, we instead have an extensive nether hub which can be used for travelling around quickly. Weekly EventsWe have community events every other week! These events are open to the entire community and held via voice chat (although you don't have to speak if you're not comfortable doing so). We have done a huge variety of events over the past few months and are always looking to mix things up, so if you have an idea for an event then just let us know and we can make it happen! The events we have had in the past have been minigame events, PVP tournaments, an Easter Egg hunt, elytra race, swimming race and more! Details about each event will always be given out on Discord. The Modpack centers around the "Minecolonies" Mod and is relatively lightweight. The server only has 10 slots but i can add some if needed. We have elected to add some quality of life plugins, such as EpicBackpacks and Ultimate Timber. In addition we also have mcMMO, which is a plugin that introduces skills and special abilities into the game. We offer land claiming with the Lands plugin. The primary objective on this server is to rank up through all 14 ranks. Players will be challenged with both money and mcMMO requirements for ranking up. As players rankup, they receive access to more backpack slots, homes, lands, and commands. Furthermore, each rank has access to a powerful kit to help players progress faster. The admin shop has three tiers, each tier offering better prices on items and goods. The admin shops sell most items and blocks, as well as spawners and crate keys. Once players rank up to Apprentice, they can create their own shop at spawn to trade with other players. A detailed breakdown of the ranks, shops, and pricing is available in our Discord. The server is vanilla orientated with grief protection, essentials and a few tiny extras but nothing crazy taking away from the vanilla experience too much.
Most of us currently playing are 18+ so were aiming to keep the server as DRAMA FREE as possible, were all just here having a good time playing when we're not otherwise busy. The server experience is survival with essentials. But in the Nether for example you cant /back on death so it's still a bit of a challenge. The same goes with the End where you also can't TPA stuff so the individual or group that beats the dragon there gets some nice bragging rights. The server has a community focus and were always aiming to listen to our players on how to keep improving the gameplay without straying too far from the vanilla experience. Plugins We're Running:

This server is for those who are looking for the long run experience (we don't change the map.) and don't mind playing on a semi-active server. For the rules common sense is all I ask, you can even use modded clients to an extent (no fly, x-ray etc.). I don't want to limit the way you want to play the game. Server is in the EU (Paper 1.16.3) and has been rollin' since 16.01.2020 19:00 UTC and there are no plans to stop it even if noone plays anymore.
