    Hello everyone! Astra is an incredibly old non-profit server and through the years, we have grown a community and formed our own identity as a server.

    Information about Astra

    We have formatted our server in such a way that promotes the creation of cities and businesses. We also have a Dynmap (full server map on a website for live viewing). Currently, there are 5 official cities (there are requirements for creating a city), and it's really enjoyable traveling to these various destinations and seeing what our community has put together. Despite the fact that we're a lot in this community, we all get along, and that's something rare that I haven't seen on many other servers.

    No, you don't need to be 18+ to join our server. I have always found that rule on other servers quite idiotic considering people mature at different ages, so that's not something you should worry about.

    We also have an active staff team, not staff members that are flying around in creative mode and scaring players by teleporting to them. All our staff members are players of our server as well-- handpicked players that I find suitable to be staff.

    We also have a few custom plugins just to spice it up a little (e.g. you can vote in chat for the time of day, report others, list all cities, create your own city command, view relics (exceptional or sentimental builds handpicked by staff & the community), a world map, and much more. There are quite a few data packs as well.

    We are a mostly vanilla server with some extra perks like slime fun and brewery to enhance to experience and ensure there is always something to do.     We are a diverse community of friendly players who all share a love for Minecraft survival. The name Beyond Vanilla comes from the fact that while we certainly have vanilla survival gameplay, we have a few quality of life plugins such as multiplayer sleep and coreprotect that we believe are needed to run a multiplayer the right way. We have no whitelist or hoops you have to jump through to play with us. No hubs (we have a player built nether hub and highway), no anything.     Checkout Nowhere Land, a place to be who you want! Nowhere Land is a mostly western/frontier type server with a reliance on gold and iron as a physical currency, and Towny for creating frontier towns. Be anything from the Mayor of a gold rush city to the outlaw who's constantly on the move.

    We're a Towny server; a plugin which has very similar game play to factions, but with more of a focus on building and community. Our server is very difficult, and you will need to avoid death at all possible costs. Otherwise, you will be randomly teleported and everything you've built will be lost to another part of the map upon death. This makes game play exciting when playing with other server members, and will force you to make the tough decisions necessary for surviving the wilderness. This and the fact that we don't have teleports on this server, make it a great place for solo players to join, since they can explore out into our vast and growing world, and find others to work with that they may have never met before!

    Chertia [SMP] {Whitelist} {Story} {Events} {RP} {16+}

    Introduction

    Welcome to Chertia! Chertia is a roleplay survival server set in a land of gods, magic and monsters known as the Kingdom of Chertia. This server is heavily inspired by Mianite, but has evolved over time. We've created our own identity with completely new characters and an ongoing story that everyone is able to contribute to in some way or another.

    Throughout your adventures on Chertia, you will encounter and interact with gods. Regular (usually 2-3 times weekly) events ranging from fun games to perilous adventures will keep you engaged with the server in a unique way. We have a bunch of really cool custom-coded features, including procedurally-generated dungeons.

    The server is on normal difficulty and is hosted in Montréal, Québec. It runs on PaperMC.

    Season 2 began on Friday, July 24.

    The Story

    You are thrown into the mysterious world of Ahiro, in the Kingdom of Chertia. More specifically, the province of Hyacinth, which spans the entire server map, corner to corner. The kingdom is inhabited by sibling gods who interact with you and help or hinder your ability to survive in this strange world. What brought you here? What is the purpose of your adventure?

    At the moment, all roleplay and event interactions are taking place in 'Akalia,' the lost city, as a part of the main story.

    The current gods are:

    • Lady Chertia, goddess of kindness
    • Lord Syenite, god of chaos
    • Lady Claudine, goddess of change

    There are some other characters that you may come across as well. For example:

    • Chancellor Robin, the crown royal
    • Lady Hyparia, the spirit goddess of life and the mother of the sibling gods
    • Lord Taiya, the spirit god of conflict and the father of Chertia

    Server Events

    While the schedule shifts from week to week, the following is the norm at the moment:

    • Every Friday night and most Wednesday nights, we host a major story event where some of the characters will be on the server, interacting with the players and advancing the server's storyline.
    • On most Saturdays or Sundays, we host Roleplay events where players have the opportunity to get into character and roleplay their hearts out, creating their own stories and fun moments that make Chertia special.
    • We host special PVP events where everyone is given 45 minutes to kill each other for fun (and in-game currency).
    • Other days, you might have the chance to run into a god - they'll log on whenever they feel like it and start interacting. Be prepared at all times!
    • We usually try to host 2-4 events per week, including game nights & pvp events!

    Server Rules

    Please keep these in mind as you begin your adventure.

    1. You may not grief or steal from other players.
    2. You may not use a hacked client, x-ray resource pack (or similar), or any other modification which provides you with an advantage over others.
    3. You may not exploit server bugs or glitches to provide you with an advantage.
    4. Be respectful of others. Harassment, bullying, racism, homophobia, or any similar behaviour will not be tolerated.
    5. You may not use macros or external programs to help you with automatic farming. Your farms must be respectful of server resources and mechanics. Raid farms, piglin farms, iron farms, and certain other farms are not allowed. Consult a staff member for specifics; if you don't do this, we have the ability to remove the farm if it is not allowed.
    6. You may not engage in non-consensual PVP. Exceptions apply in certain circumstances, such as single punches and attempts to stop harassment/annoying behaviours.
    7. You must maintain appropriate behaviour at all times on the server, especially during events.
    8. All canon roleplay is conducted on the server. Roleplay outside one of the community's official channels cannot be considered canon.
    9. The answer to the last question of the whitelist application is 'sweater vests'.

    Joining the Server

    To request placement on the whitelist, please join the Discord server here. We ask that applicants are at least 16 years of age.

    Our Discord server is a friendly, welcoming place with its own set of rules linked in the document above. We have several different on-topic and off-topic channels, including a 'best-of' starboard channel (which is full of gems -- lots of them).

    Datapacks & Custom Content

    There are a few datapacks on the server to improve the overall experience. They are:

    • Dragon Drops Elytra (VanillaTweaks)
    • Silence Mobs (VanillaTweaks)
    • Anti Enderman Grief (VanillaTweaks)

    There are also some additional alterations to the server, such as...

    • 33% of players sleeping will skip the night.
    • Discord/Minecraft connectivity - there is a #server-chat channel in Discord that relays communication between the Discord and the server. Like this!
    • Local chat - you can type @[radius] at the start of your message to send a local message (this won't appear in the Discord).
    • Group chats - set up a group chat with our easy-to-use integrated system. You can find more details on the commands page.
    • Emotes - do /e and bring up the emotes menu.
    • Keep inventory is ON in the end to prevent any unfortunate accidents. However, it is off in the overworld & the nether.
    • We have a Dynmap!

    Finally, there are some minor tweaks to mob spawning and other aspects of the server which tie into the story and concept. The server is vanilla survival at its core.

    Rules for the Server

    • No Griefing! We are an SMP server. Community builds are highly encouraged and griefing severely diminishes our building focus. This will result in an immediate ban.
    • No stealing! We have Coreprotect in order to ensure no one steals. If you are caught stealing, you will be immediately banned. No questions asked.
    • No non-consensual killing. While we encourage PvP-like minigames, we wish to provide the option to those who do not wish to engage in PvP whatsoever. Consent is very important.
    • No hacking. This includes any form of x-ray, client-side advantages, or hacked clients. Doing so will also result in a ban.
    • No spam/advertising in the in-game chat. Move to discord if your discussion is extremely lengthy!
    • Build at least 100 blocks away from Spawn. No base building on our Shopping district Mushroom island. (Which is our spawn.)
    • Keep a distance from each other's bases, if you build close to someone, ask for their permission. It is always better than to ask rather than being forced to move later!

    Application:

    This is where it really counts. Our application is the only way to gain insight into who you are as a person! In order to determine if you are a great fit for our community, we must uphold a strict application.

    [Wanted] [vanilla] [smp] a vanilla experience for me and my friend.

    So in just want to play on a smp with my friend. My friend is buying minecraft soon. We want a good sized server. I am personally more of a technical player. In my old smp world which was 1.15 I build a pigman farm which got me from level 0-30 in about a min and a half. I also have build many other things and am trying to get better. My friend is an all around player. I am 17 and my friend is 16

    BirbMC is a semi-vanilla MC server (Java) that launched on June 13th! We are looking to grow our community of active and friendly players.     Block World is a family friendly Vanilla Survival server set on Hard difficulty. We thrive to maintain the core aspect of Vanilla gameplay and run only a few plugins, the only plugins that we run that may change the gameplay is that a single person can sleep through the night, all other addons are novelty type addons that do not change the vanilla experience.

    The loss of items from a death is unfortunate but is designed as part of the vanilla gameplay, you will have 5 minutes to get back to your items prior to them de-spawning. If you die please don't ask for an admin to tp you to your items or restore them, if you die to lag please reach out to an admin but all occurrences will be investigated prior to any restoration of items.

    OpenCraft [Semi-Vanilla] [SMP] {Whitelist} {1.16.4} {14+}

    OpenCraft is looking for members of a new SMP long-term world! We're running Paper 1.16.4 with anti-griefing plugins, one player sleep, and the coordinates plugin for those of us that want to see where we are.

    We are a new server and plan to stay relatively small (12-24 players) & focused on semi-vanilla gameplay. Only a handful of players at present. We're playing on a survival world with limited but growing community infrastructure. We're looking for players interested in building a fun, wholesome community.

    Server is in Miami, FL, USA.

    Cooperative projects are great; so is playing on your own and minding your own projects. Group adventures or PvP is great; so is respecting each player's right to do their own thing.

    We highly encourage trading resources / building shops / helping each out those that want it, but don't use mods to control commerce.

    We are open to adjusting plugins to assist in better community growth and regulation, but are dedicated to a semi-vanilla gameplay style.

    Gameplay is "Open" - there is no community guidance on how to play -- help make the world and community you want. Our focus is on a maintaining a beautiful world with organic commerce and interesting / diverse builds that don't overshadow / overrun natural spaces. Respect your neighbors' space!

    Hello everyone, I recently started a server for me and a few friends, and decided to open it up to the public. Here's the gist of the server.

    Key Features:

    • On version 1.16.4 and I plan to update as soon as possible!
    • No rules besides no cheating! Everything possible in the Vanilla client is fair game!
    • Multiple strategies of keeping cheaters out of the server that most other similar servers don't have!

    MatrixAnarchy Started on 04/11/2020. (4th of November, 2020)

    Server info: MatrixAnarchy is an anarchy server, which means there are no rules, no limits, total freedom. There are no non-vanilla commands like /tpa, /home or /spawn. Survive, travel, explore, fight, and become the best player on the server. Hacking/Cheating Clients are allowed on the server just like anything else is allowed.

    • No world resets.
    • Devs and admins are only fixing issues, exploits, crashes, and lag.
    • No rules, you can't get banned or muted.
    • No commands like: /home, /tpa, /spawn
    • Running on 64GB of ram and I7 9700K
    • Supports 1.12 - 1.16.4
