We are a semi-vanilla, community-run server running 1.16.4 with our own economy. A lot of inspiration is taken from the popular hermitcraft series and we even have some small content creators of our own! Sakuracraft started little over a month ago by players who have been together for various smps for almost a year. The whole playerbase is very friendly, and happy to meet you guys! We understand that a lot of players aren't interested in ongoing servers, However, we believe now is the best time for new players to join! During the initial month we were able to fix lag issues, Let go of players who broke rules and get familiar with everyone! Currently, we have much less strain on the mod team so we will be able to help you more effectively than before. As mentioned before we are semi-vanilla, We run on yatopia which is optimised for large amounts of players and keeps our tps at a solid 20. We haven't changed anything except for having player based mob spawns, which fixes a lot of performance issues. The idea being you can actually speak to players when you are near them, much like real life. Finding a server like this is not easy, so instead I made one. LegacySMP is a whitelisted SMP server and we are always looking for new people to join and try out the server. You have to be 15+ in order to join and you must have discord. RANT: I joined the server 1 year ago from this very subreddit. The discord server is very active and we talk a lot and plan abouth what we'll do when we reset (we have some wild plans), which will happen as soon as 1.17 drops. We're all a very close knit community composed of friends, in a very friendly environment, which you'll surely get attached to. The theme of the server is Medieval/Fantasy/Steampunk; however the lore of the server is built around multidimensional portals which opens up the door to new maps/worlds and new themes/styles. The main build world is custom terrain generation using the EpicWorldGenerator. There is a separate small vanilla world that is used for harvesting. There is a vanilla nether world for harvesting and an epic terrain nether for building as well. The End Dimension also has custom terrain. Custom Dungeons (structures and bosses) have been made using the EliteMobs plugin. There is in-game access to the following: 🔹 Decorative Playerheads Database 🔹 Customizable Armor Stands 🔹 Custom Titles 🔹 Bank/Item Vault 🔹 and more We have a shared/communal storage system which was based off of series like Kingdomcraft (Pre-Hermitcraft) and the Realm of Vasten. This is encourage cohesive building over economy and plots/claims. Ultimately the server was designed to provide as much as possible in a survival world for builders. There is also a creative server which has a flat plotworld as well as a custom terrain map on which to practice. The server is free to play on, but players can donate through Patreon to offset the server costs. In addition, players must apply to the server on our Discord. The world is set in the time of an empire at peace after a thousand year war. The Archmage had discovered an ancient tome during excavations for the tower of Ironguard. He dabbled in magics he didn't fully comprehend and caused a rift in space/time. Portals opened up to new dimensions across the empire. The Emperor sent out scouting parties through some of these portals. They discovered new worlds - some were habitable, some were hellish, others ethereal. This is where the story begins. We have a chill, mature, and friendly community. General Information The server is a vanilla server owned by Friendly Tophat that started about the middle of Jan. 2021. The general goal is to have a friendly and mature community that can play together. It is pure Vanilla and uses a randomly generated seed (the seed has not been and will not be given out). The server has 100 slots for players to join at any one time (if we have a great influx of active players then I will move it to a different / larger host but keep the same world). I may reset the world when the cave update comes out. Rules If it is in Vanilla Minecraft, it goes. Iron farms, gold farms, the whole nine yards. [Just make sure it looks nice when finalized please.] Be polite and respectful to all other players and staff.
