    Hello everyone!

    Astra is an incredibly old non-profit server, and through the years, we have grown a community and formed our own identity as a server.

    Information about Astra

    🏠 We have formatted our server in such a way that promotes the creation of cities and businesses.

    There are certain requirements that a city or country must meet for it to be recognized as official. These can range from how many members they have, to city banners and such.

    🌍 We also have a Dynmap (full server map on a website for live viewing).

    Personally, I find it really fun to just wander around the world, and finding these various destinations - seeing what our community has put together.

    👥 Despite the fact that we're a lot in this community, we all get along. That's something rare that I haven't seen on many other servers.

    No, you don't need to be 18+ to join our server. I have always found that rule on other servers quite idiotic considering people mature at different ages, so that's not something you should worry about.

    We have an active staff team - handpicked members that I find suitable to be staff. All our staff members are long-time players of Astra.

    On top of that, we also have a few custom plugins. E.g, you can vote in chat for the time of day, report others, list all cities making you able to view specific city activity as well as coordinates, view relics (exceptional or sentimental builds handpicked by staff & the community), a world map, and much more.

    There are quite a few data packs as well (vanilla tweaks). Our players are also able to check by themselves who has interacted with their build/storage without needing staff to do it. This saves everyone a lot of time.

    Please don't live millions of blocks away as the premise of this server is to interact with one another.

    You, on r/mcservers, are probably tired of servers that go down after your investment of time, power-tripping staff, or just bored of plain old Minecraft. Maybe you feel lonely. I don't know.

    HearthCraft is a 0% non-pay-to-win (verify for yourself here) economy SMP that has been making the best experiences since October of 2018. We're experts in bringing people together.

    No, this is not an RPG, a custom-world SMP, or some overly complex game. We've tailored our server to have a lot of features but just enough so it doesn't strip the experience of vanilla Minecraft we've all come to love. Aside from that, most of our players love the community we've built as much as the game itself.

    • Every hour or fraction of an hour anyone plays on the server will equate to 1.25 cents donated to charity. Money comes from our webstore. Do /charity in-game and check #charity on Discord for more info.
    • Weekly events, no matter the date
    • You will not be forced nor pressured to donate. We treat all players equally and will not tolerate anyone treating someone poorly. Our players can testify that we're not pay-to-win.
    • Resource worlds (Overworld resets monthly, Nether every 3 months, and the End outside x/z 1536 monthly)
    • BlazeAndCave's custom achievements (adds 800+ achievements to the game)

    • Active and healthy economy system that includes player shops, player warps, auctions (intense bidding!), etc.

    Twisted Vanilla is a LONG term map with no resets! Our community is looking for additional mature players who enjoy playing for the long haul and have fun with the game while being respectful to others. We appreciate that people have different play styles (lone wolf, team, or community builders), with varying play times and schedules, as well as individual strengths (redstone, terraforming, large builds, details, etc.) We strongly believe we are only as good as our community which is what makes the server stand out.
