Crystal frames - invisible item frames

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 08:26 AM PDT

Crystal frames are crafted using an item frame and an amethyst shard. When placed down, they appear like an item frame, but with a purple rim. However, when an item is placed inside them, the item frame turns invisible, leaving only the item inside visible. It will turn visible again when the item is removed.

There would also be a glow crystal frame, crafted from glow ink, amethyst shard and item frame, crystal frame and glow ink, or glow frame and amethyst shard. It works like a crystal frame with the item brightening effects of the glow item frame. Without an item, it has a reddish-magenta rim.

Allow datapacks to create brewing recipies

    Posted: 19 Jun 2021 08:03 PM PDT

Currently, datapacks can create crafting recipies of all kinds except for brewing. They should be able to create brewing recipies, allowing for the creations of custom potions which are obtainable in game (with which /give already functions).

I am a little disappointed that I can't make it so you can get, for whatever reason, a potion of hunger from brewing rotten flesh into a water bottle (which would be useful if you reversed it into a potion of saturation).

I mean, come on. They can make dimensions. It's not too much to ask, and it would finally complete the ability to make crafting recipes.

Edit: thank you for the two Hugzes

mobs chasing players should run away when entering the deep dark.

    Posted: 19 Jun 2021 08:13 PM PDT

this would add personality, and implies that the reason the warden is the only mob in the deep dark is because the mobs are horrified of the deep dark. mobs are already comfirmed to not spawn in the deep dark, so if they ran away from the biome on sight, that would be awsome, this also helps balancing the game because of not a zombie or something could spawn in a cave and then decide to walk into the deep dark, making the mobs scared of it is a fun way to fix them walking into the biome

Structures don’t need to be updated - they need to have variants

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 01:16 PM PDT

Structures like dungeons and jungle temples have existed for a long time in Minecraft and it's very clear they have become dated. People have created some incredible ideas to update these structures and fit them to be more modern - but I suggest a counter offer. If we are to update and improve these structures - we should keep the original variants still in the game giving them a chance to spawn with the same loot as the updated variants, I don't know many people who wish these structures wouldn't change - but my point is that they exist, and it could be a way to keep history preserved while updating the structures people want updated

    Wind Chimes

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 11:57 AM PDT

Wind Chimes would be crafted with Amethyst and String. They'd only be placeable upside down, but can be placed in a bunch like pickles or candles.

They would make sounds on occasion. The sounds would become louder as you place more in a bunch, and would become more frequent before and when the weather changes to rain or a thunderstorm

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, I'm extremely tired right now but I'm just trying to find uses for Amethyst

Put all the education edition items(such as the balloons) in the creative inventory in bedrock edition with the edition feature enabled

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 07:43 AM PDT

We should be able to see all education edition items that are in Minecraft(that you can't even get through commands) If you think it might be hard for them to code in extra items when a switch is flipped look at what they did with experimental gameplay when it was added for 1.14 with the flip of a switch boom you have items that you could never get before.this would be good for builds because currently you have to print a 9 page Manuel just so you can brew special potions and make glow sticks.

    Allow suggestions for removing features

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 10:58 AM PDT

Yesterday my post was removed because it suggested the removal of a feature. I believe this should be allowed, since good suggestions include not only the addition and modification of features, but also the removal of features. If someone does not like a feature that was added, they should be allowed to suggest the removal of it.

    Amethyst need more uses

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 02:00 PM PDT

Amethyst has only three crafting recipes, tinted glass, Amethyst blocks, and telescopes. Having something that feels like such a big thing added into the game doesn't seem to do much so

NOTE: THESE ARE JUST BLANK SUGGESTIONS AND WOUOD BE INCLINED TO CHANGE. THESE ARE JUST BASE SUGGESTIONS!

what if you were to put an amethyst block under a note block to produce a new sound?

Maybe put a copper ingot and surround 4 amethyst shards around it to create a jingle music disc?

Mix a shard with an arrow to create a calming arrow which makes mobs passive towards you for 5 or so seconds since amethyst irl is used for calming.

Put sticks on the sides like a ladder, quarts at the top and bottom and a shard in the middle to get a rail that will reverse you or do something else

8 shards around a treasure map or blank map or something to get a map to an archeology site.

    Mo' Enchantents!

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 09:37 AM PDT

As an endgame player getting the best enchantments is everything. In Minecraft there aren't that many so here are some of my ideas for some new enchantments.

    Helmet

Dampening(I-IV): Lessens damage taken from "Experiencing Kinetic Energy"

    Boots

Double Jump(I): Would allow the player to use a double jump ability (similar to the elytrians ability in the origins mod), which would allow you to get into the air faster when using the elytra.

Swift Footed(I-II)/Rush(I-II): Faster movement speed while sprinting.

    Sword

Bane of Illagers(I-III)/Illagers Bane(I-III): Attacks deal extra damage to Illagers.

Leeching(I-III): Defeating a mob heals the player by a small portion of the mob's max health.

    Axe

Leeching(I-III):Defeating a mob heals the player by a small portion of the mob's max health.

    Elytra

I have made a post abut elytra specific enchantments the link to it is https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/o2639g/elytra_specific_enchantments/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

    Sheers

Fortune(I-III): Increases the amount of drops

    Spyglass

Zoom(I): Allows you to zoom out while using the spyglass

Glowing(I): While Using the spyglass mobs will have the glowing effect

Night Vision(I-II): Gives you night vision while using the spyglass

    Golden Chorusfruit

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 09:30 AM PDT

I always found it a bit annoying that you can't really steer where you get teleported when you eat a chorus fruit.

So my idea is, to surround a chorus fruit with 8 gold ingots. If you eat a golden chorus fruit, you will be teleported to the block you're looking at, but only if the block is 8 blocks and closer to you.

If you look at a block you're standing in front of, you will be teleported into the block.

If an End ore is added, then the gold could be replaced with that end ore.

What do you think of that?

    Limestone Block Set

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 02:49 PM PDT

    Limestone Block Set

This idea is simple. Add limestone to the game to fill in a small gap of color that is missing in blocks in Minecraft.

Sandstone looks repetitive, is just a little bit too bright for certain builds, and is usually seen as a pretty basic and ugly building material... not to mention that there are few blocks other than birch that go with it (I find endstone variations to have a yellow/green tint that really doesn't work with the flatter color of sandstone or any other block for that matter).

Limestone would be a new full set of blocks (includes everything like chiseled, bricks, walls, stairs, slabs, etc.) for Minecraft that would not only complement birch and sandstone very well but would have its own place to be the primary block of many builds.

It would be found everywhere, spawning in clusters like diorite or andesite, but would spawn much more frequently near or under large oceans and beaches.

Additionally, to mimic the different types of limestone, it could have an aging mechanic much like copper. The longer it is placed the more browned/tan it appears. It would probably have to stay out 2x the length though. But this would be optional as I don't believe limestone has this behavior in real life.

I think the addition of a new common type of block to spawn in caving and generally every adventure could really complement 1.18 as well.

Some images to reference, including the specific color I am referring to, are below:

The specific colors as seen on UK Parliament building

    Another Image

    Last image of parliament

An example of an amateur build that could look much more interesting and nice using the suggested Limestone:

made by me a while ago

Here is how the color compares with the colors of similarly colored blocks:

Notice how none of them have the distinct tan/brown/almost red mixed color that the limestone blocks would provide

A really good and useful blocks that I think could be have an impact and be used frequently in builds like deepslate did for 1.17

    Thankyou

    Tinted Glass Panes

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 03:29 PM PDT

We got a new type of glass in the latest update, so why can't we make panes out of it? This way, we could stretch the amethyst a bit further, and give it more use for decoration.

    Add Cashmere Wool and Chevron.

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 09:27 AM PDT

Well we have goats. Currently they do not drop anything so why not make them drop the meat that is associated with goats a.k.a Chevron (it wouldn't make sense if they drop mutton). They could also be sheared for Cashmere wool (this would maybe be similar to wool f.x. you can make carpet and beds from it but it would have more of a smother texture and a swirly design, it can of course be dyed all colors as well).

    Accurate Goat drop checklist:

    Goats can be milked "check"

Goats can loose their horn by ramming trees "check"

Goats can be groomed for Cashmere wool "not implemented and should be"

Goats can be slain for Chevron meat "not implemented and should be"

Also Cashmere is a very delicate resource to goats cannot be slain for the wool it has to be groomed for it. That also means that they need to implement "grooms/comps" I think that it should not be craft-able and needs to be traded with a shepherd (that will give shepherds more of a functionality). This could also be used to make smoother banners that could maybe be sewed onto beds.

Piglins should have a chance of selling you a nether fortress map!

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 03:22 PM PDT

We've all been there. You have been roaming the Nether for hours now and you still havent found any nether fotresses. Well here is a solution! Piglins will now have a small chance of giving you a map nether fortress when you trade with them. It shouldnt necesseraly be the nearest nether fortress, but it shouldnt be too far away from the player either. It could remove the frustration of finding one.

Wandering traders should sell new items from updates

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 04:43 AM PDT

Since cave generation was not implemented for part 1 mojang placed some of the new blocks within the wandering trader's inventory and that made me think. Why not do this for every update?

Wandering traders could have new items from updates within their inventory so that players could find some of the newer stuff without having to search for it's natural biome for hours.
