Like the title says, we are starting season 3! June 23rd, we will have a whole server reset to welcome the new 1.17 update! About us: Sector17 is a community-based 18+ SMP server. We've been up since late June of 2020 and are currently going into our third season. Overall we pride ourselves in our community. We try and focus a lot on building a trusted and fun community that requires little admin interference. I am opening my new Minecraft server "The sanctum of Chaos" to all in just 2 hours, I recommend going into the discord and grouping up with a friend or make a new one to team up with. It's not mandatory to be in a team and you can play solo. This server is 1.17 Semi anarchy, no hacks but you can do anything you want. You can hoard, steal, grief, and kill to your hearts content. And every now and then I will personally have little events to get people more active, I have a feeling that it may be a small start so there is a world border, we have it set to 7.5k blocks and once more players join we will be expanding it to 10k and so forth. Day 1 we plan on setting everyone loose and I will start an event 3 hours after the server is open. With only some minor quality of life features to improve gameplay, we avoided restricting gamemodes such as Towny or Factions, or bloated land-claiming plugins. Grief is NOT allowed, but we do allow stealing and raiding. Stealing would be far too difficult to enforce on a public server without landclaims, grief is easier to rollback. Why are we semi-vanilla instead of vanilla? We have a few features, such as liquid tanks to store lava, milk, water and XP, the ability to use leads on villagers and most mobs, and we allow for 2 /sethomes and /spawn. (not including bed). We want to take minecraft 1.16 to the limits but without using too OP stuff like light supression. The projects are all going to be very big scale. To join the server you need to have a VERY good knowledge of the game and game mechanics, you need to be able to design redstone contraptions and farms on your own! We are also interested in builders, but as a builder you still have to have some TechMC knowledge. [Semi-vanilla][SMP]{1.17}{Whitelisted}{SmallBorder}{21+}{Java AND Bedrock}{EU} Posted: 21 Jun 2021 04:20 AM PDT Welcome all to season 2 of Come'n'Go community server, we've just finished setup and are ready to invite you all to come and join us for our second round of fun, enjoying all of the latest and greatest that Minecraft has to offer! The server has been up for under a week and has a few members on already, nothing major has been done, and the ender dragon still lives! We have worked over the last week to get things setup for people to come and join, a custom spawn area has been built, we've installed and configured GeyserMC on the server, meaning that bedrock players can also come and join in, we can't promise a perfect experience, but you get to come and check out all the Java mechanics!! We've set spawn onto a Mooshroom Island, this will be the main hub for players to trade, build shops and meet up. We currently have a world border set at 2000x2000 blocks centred on spawn, this is a temporary measure as we'll be putting up a physical wall at some point soon, more information on that in the discord info-for-new-players channel, all players will be required to read and accept the terms before being whitelisted. We've got plans for a mini-games district, as well as a secret project that will culminate in a competition with real world prizes (Yes, really! Not even my Mod team know about this yet!) This time around we're inviting only those of you who are perhaps a little older, and maybe fed up with joining servers primarily inhabited by those younger than you. We don't have anything against you youngsters, we just want to provide safe harbour for the older, and wiser generations to come and have a peaceful experience with us. Our current average age is around 30, and we would very much like to keep a mature space for people to come and join.
