You spawn in at a random point of the map, and start your adventure from there; however, there is one catch: when you die, you spawn yet again at a random point. Your life matters, and you must maintain it at whatever cost! Death could mean you will likely lose all of your progress, even if you had a bed! Will you create a settlement for players to live in prosperity together? Will you have a humble home in the darkest crevasses of the world? Is a nomadic lifestyle more fun to you? Do you wish to explore the world and find signs of life in the vast landscape? Or, more maliciously, do you wish to murder and overthrow players from their homes, taking their land as a token of your superiority? Whether you are searching for PvP, or you are looking to build up a community and create beautiful architecture, this server hopes to give you an interesting experience. The server will be pretty lenient on what you can and can't do; rule of thumb is to not be completely toxic and destructive, and to treat other players with respect. Griefing is allowed in moderation, however joining just to grief everything in your path will result in a ban. Derogatory and hurtful language can be tolerated to an extent, barring the use of slurs or threats against any players (if you really need to get your jimmies twisted over someone playing a block game, we don't want you!) Terra is a server for people who not only want to play Minecraft but also want to make new friends and collaborate with new players, we put community over everything to ensure that everyone has fun and always have someone to jump into a call with and just hang out. What do we expect from you as a player? Only that you follow the gentlemen rule, meaning that we don't really have any rules on this server but we expect you to keep the vanilla feel (don't use anything that gives you an unfair advantage), be nice to all players and if someone says how they want their stuff to be handled at their base or in their shop you should follow those rules and show respect. We are a fun-loving, tight-knit group of friendly and community-oriented players aged 16 through 40. We have also implemented a creative server for those who like to practice builds/redstone/etc. If any of the following brings interest to you, Apply Today! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With that being said, before getting down to the smaller details, here are some of the details that will determine if you really want to play on our server or not: Discord is required: As a small community this is the easiest way for us to communicate. It also brings our server closer together, allowing us to actually feel the emotions projected from our voices. (let's face it -- typing is so mono-toned) Activity is the number one priority: In order for us to create the tight-knit community we have, we do require our players to be on for a minimum amount of time. Most people do meet this requirement with no problem, but some people do hate this rule, so I thought I'd mention it. We are based in the US of A: This really doesn't matter that much, but if you're in a different time zone, you may not see a lot of players. While we do have some players from the UK and AUS, most of us are located in the States, particularly along the East Coast. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, here are the rest of the details to our server: Server Version: 1.17, Hosted in Ontario, Canada Minimum age: 16+ Resource Worlds: We have updated resource worlds on the server to provide a easy experience with getting all the new blocks in 1.17, These worlds get reset monthly. Server is java based not bedrock, but in the future we may have plans on hosting a bedrock server for those interested. We switched to Semi-Vanilla. Adding datapacks (Head Drops, Enderman Griefing, Shulker Drops, Universal Dying) We added a few plugins, Nothing game breaking, IE. Coreprotect, Dynmap(Not up to date yet) Maximum whitelist is 80 players -- we currently have 25 people whitelisted. Our Server is based off of MindCrack & HermitCraft -- we talk about them often. Our PVP system is based off of Etho's amazing Death Games, you can read up with this in the spawn death games hall. We are well-established: We began our map in April, following the 1.14 update but will be wiping in 1.18 when released ask our staff for more information on it. Our Spawn is Medieval Themed located on a mushroom island Our Community really means a lot to us. We try to keep spawn looking nice, make strong bonds and always have a good laugh. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a list of our server rules: No griefing, x-raying, duping or stealing No seed will be given to players to prevent abuse PVP must be agreed upon by both parties No modded clients at all however optifine is okay!)
