Posted: 18 Jul 2021 10:30 AM PDT I just think it'd be natural to see a spider — known to be a predator — eat an insect physically smaller than it. [link] [comments]

Mojang please add underground structures to lush cave biomes Posted: 18 Jul 2021 12:07 PM PDT Please add structures like abandoned village/civilizations and ancient temples to lush cave biomes. It would be good if they are rare (like ocean monuments or mansions). It would feel more adventure-ish and would be really fun and interesting to explore. [link] [comments]
Piglin brutes should drink fire resistance when on fire. Posted: 18 Jul 2021 01:44 AM PDT I think something like this would make piglings as a while more realistic, since they have fire resistance potions, yet they never actually use them, though it would also feel a bit unfair towards the player if they always used them, so I suggest only the pigling brutes used fire resistance potions to save thelselves: They've got a scar on their eye and attack intruders no matter what, not because they're blind with rage, but because that scar shows that they're e'countered strangers before and know what they're capable of (that's how I interpret brutes anyway), so these brutes are in a way the wise old piglings that know what's up, therefor it seems logical in a way for them to be the ones who use potions for themselves. It would also make pigling brutes stand out as the tough guys that aren't so easy to kill. [link] [comments]
Bells on note blocks play the note that the note block is tuned to Posted: 18 Jul 2021 09:06 AM PDT This could be useful for church bells or similar. They should also be audible from a distance, farther than regular bells. [link] [comments]
If you crouch while wearing frost walker boots ice doesn't form Posted: 18 Jul 2021 01:53 PM PDT The title is pretty self-explanatory. I just wish that you could turn off the frost walker sometimes. [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Jul 2021 03:59 AM PDT Rivers should be slightly overhauled to generate with their own local height, as opposed to generating at sea level. This would be great for large natural waterfalls, cataracts (the natural feature, not the ailment) and an overall more varied look for natural water sources. This would be fun for boats, giving varied terrain for players to sail across, and a slight element of thrill when going down a particularly large waterfall (especially if dripstone stalagmites can spawn at the bottom). This could allow much more creativity in builds such as dams, bridges, water-wheels, etc. One could use waterfalls as an alternative method of climbing large mountains, or as a way to somehow farm the unlucky fish that may come careening into the waters below. For all these reasons, I believe rivers should have local height, allowing them to rest on top of large hills and create waterfalls, carve their way through terrain, creating massive ravines, or simply generating on flat ground. Wind chimes, to have more control over the magical amethyst sounds Posted: 18 Jul 2021 08:49 AM PDT Wind Chimes could be crafted with a string on top and the bottom 2 rows filled with amethyst crystals wind chimes could be hung from a ceiling or a wall, and their main quality would be that they passively play the amythest sounds. they could also be animated to sway back and forth and could have particle affects. these would be so usefull for having the sound that amethysts make without having to make the floor out of them and without making it so you need to walk around to hear it, and you could really place tons of them if you wanted to go crazy with the sound it could have additional uses, like the ringing gets faster the more likely it is to rain, because it gets windier if you wanted to get super fancy, they could be stacked underneath to create really big chimes, that would be great to see regardless thank anyone for reading this and taking the time. Phantoms are scared of campfires Posted: 18 Jul 2021 11:24 AM PDT I don't need to tell you that many people find phantoms annoying because they essentially discourage the player from exploring outside of their base for more than a day or two. There's no real way to avoid them as of now, at least not without changing your spawn point and potentially losing your base. That's why there should be some way to avoid them without just completely removing them from the game. I think making them scared of campfires like piglins are scared of soul fire would work well. They could still circle around overhead, but would be forced back up halfway through their dive towards the player. It would be useful and have a nice atmosphere of the undead being repelled by the light. Maybe soul campfires could also not repel them, to add some variation and something to consider when using soul fire for builds [link] [comments]
Spore Blossoms, when having a block above it, should change particle color. Posted: 18 Jul 2021 06:09 AM PDT Note: I checked the FPS list and couldn't see this anywhere but I feel like this has been suggested more than once so who knows? I'm gonna go ahead with the idea anyway… —— So earlier, I was building a volcanic build and I quite like the way that Spore Blossoms produce particles - it's a way that adds atmosphere. However when implementing it into the build, the green particles it emitted did not fit and it seemed out of place. Therefore, I feel like if a Spore blossom has lava, a magma block or fire above it or as the block it is placed on, it should emit darker black particles. I know it's not what the Spore Blossom is meant for, but I feel like it would add more creativity and ideas to builds. [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Jul 2021 02:19 AM PDT I've seen more then 10 posts suggesting Icicle dripstone, it's a good idea, but not original. [link] [comments]
A small addition to ruined portals Posted: 17 Jul 2021 10:31 PM PDT Currently, if you fix a ruined portal it will be a normal portal in the nether, so i think it would be better if when you fix a ruined portal it should generate at a ruined portal in the nether, but the portal being fine. Edit: warthogcapital1250 said " maybe there could be ruined portals in the nether in the same place as the overworld" Exactly what I was trying to say [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Jul 2021 08:37 AM PDT When first implemented, end rods had pur-pur colored bases, but with the texture update, they got more useful gray bases. This left them looking rather awkward in end cities, so I'm suggesting that they have a similar color system to shulker boxes or Hardened Clay. There would be a 'base variant' that would look like the end rod as it was introduced in 1.9, but there would be an extra sixteen end rods with different colored bases (the base sixteen colors). The pur-pur based end rod would be generate as part of the end cities and would be craftable via the existing reciepe. The variants would be crafted by surrounding an dye with eight end rods in the crafting table Already existing end rods would be renamed 'light gray end rod' and would keep it's light gray base. Furnace-Minecart loads Chunks and needs an Inventory for Fuel with a Burn timer Posted: 18 Jul 2021 02:01 AM PDT This would give the FMc an unique use and would be great to move things over long distances without a player to follow the Minecarts. Furthermore because it only loads 1 Chunk in every direction, it would not be that Performance Heavy and would go with Mojangs Idea that everything bad is the Players fault. As he placed and powered the FmC [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Jul 2021 05:21 AM PDT Pretty simple suggestion that would make caves so much more immersive. Fog under y=55 should be black rather than light blue [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Jul 2021 11:45 AM PDT I think there should be an advancement for placing down every flower or seed in the game, based off of the Svalbard Doomsday Plant Vault in Norway, idk I think it would be cool [link] [comments]
An interface to cut leather armor into a custom shape/style for customized clothing. Posted: 18 Jul 2021 03:28 PM PDT
Posted: 18 Jul 2021 03:27 PM PDT I believe that flower crowns should be added into the game. The way you would craft them is with 3 flowers of your choice in a line on the crafting grid. The colors of the flowers you put in will change the colors of the flower crown you make. It would probably not give any armor but it would be very cute in my opinion.it would have coincided well with the moobloom being added too, maybe as a flower forest update, but that is not happening anymore sadly. Edit: U/fire_of_the_beast noted that maybe it can be utilised for attracting bees. Although it wouldn't be particularly useful, it would be cool attention to detail [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Jul 2021 03:25 PM PDT To make the outer layer of the legs connect together like a skirt or long jacket instead of separating. [link] [comments]
Mooblooms should be sheep instead — Baablooms Posted: 18 Jul 2021 01:09 PM PDT I feel like it's more appropriate for Mooblooms to be sheep rather than cows. Being a sheep, it would regrow its flowers from time to time, you get the point. An additional food source that also serves as a flower and bee pollination source without having to get more bone meal. To compensate with this change, it'd be more appropriate if the hypothetical sheep variant were to be called "Baabloom" (since sheep usually make "baa" noises).

Make different food items take different amounts of time to be eaten. Posted: 18 Jul 2021 11:03 AM PDT I think the main issue with the current food system is that the only thing that makes food items different is how much saturation they give, and wether or not they're stackable (stews and bottles of honey aren't). My suggestion is that food items are given different "eating times", this would not only feel more realistic, but it would also have big survival implications. Certain food items would also become a lot more worthwhile with this change. The cookie for example, would have a way shorter eating time. The difference in saturation between raw and cooked items would also be partially replaced by a difference in eating time: cooked meat would be eaten way faster, and this would be balanced by having it not give so many more saturation points than its uncooked counterpart. Posted: 18 Jul 2021 02:41 PM PDT It would be a normal brick block but with some of the bricks being replaced with nether bricks. It could be crafted with 2 bricks and 2 nether bricks in a 2x2 square. It would have slab stair, and wall variants like normal bricks. [link] [comments]
More cat skins idk if this is realistic Posted: 18 Jul 2021 01:20 AM PDT I think there should be more cat skins like the old tabby model. Share your thoughts [link] [comments] |
