    CivClassic is based in the Minecraft civilization server genre. This server is 4 years old, and has transitioned from the original 1.10 to 1.16.5! We have up to 70 players in US afternoon, but we have American, European, and even Australian players.

    We sometimes say "Semi-Anarchy" because with the exception of hacking, cheating, and harassment, the admins let you do whatever you want. But don't let that fool you, the players have formed powerful governments and nations which strictly enforce their justice! So if you expect to jump on and do some easy raiding, you'll be in for a surprise. You'll find we take the concepts of "towny" and "factions" to higher levels, with more freedom and more flexible tools!

    We have a suite of plugins developed over the course of many years that give you the power to control the world in the ways most other Minecraft servers do not:

    • Use Citadel to protect your builds by reinforcing them
    • Create custom groups using Namelayer which allow you to distribute different levels of permissions to other players and chat from across the map
    • Climb the tech tree with FactoryMod which gives you the power to harness industrial efficiency surpassing vanilla rates
    • Enforce your own justice or ideologies with ExilePearl which allows you to imprison your fellow players
    • Defend against grief with Bastions which provide regional protection, but be careful because they can be broken
    • Track player activity in vital areas with JukeAlert, allowing you to receive in-game notifications or check logs for evidence
    • Custom ore generation using HiddenOre with rare but lucrative diamond veins
    • Brew alcohols and other beverages using BreweryMod with an entirely custom recipe configuration
    • Farm crops with RealisticBiomes which creates biome diversity with options to enhance growth or make greenhouses
    • Buy and sell goods with ItemExchange, which lets you setup shop chests for trading

    Explore a large map rich with towns and civilizations, some active and some abandoned ruins. But beware, even abandoned towns may have other nations which watch over their ruins and will imprison looters!

    Are you interested in politics? Many nations have been formed around political ideologies! Mount September is a nation created in the spirit of "minarchy" after the collapse of a previous similar nation called Mt Augusta. Others such as Icenia are democratic in style but with a permanent leader, others still are dictatorships, oligarchies, or even tribal.     We are the most inclusive community online, with several users who are basically robots without human feelings. Our staff are butthurt tightwads who enforce the rules with an iron fist.

You see, I started the server in October 2019 because I had just returned from Afghanistan and was bored and had to find a way to waste $100 a month on the best hardware available in Canada. I was going to use it to mine crypto, but I'm too dumb for that, so instead I started a minecraft server and beat my meat every time I got to ban a piece of shit garbage, low life hacker.

    In the wake of undead hordes bringing about the collapse of their homelands, two factions set themselves adrift upon the waves unbeknownst to one another. They discovered a strange new land in the mists, where they seek to reestablish their societies. The continent of Nebelloren.

    This is a role-playing server. Members of our community work together to form characters and tell immersive stories. Nebelloren is newly updated to 1.15 with brand new content alongside the new Vanilla features such as two handed weapons and overhauls of our custom plugins.

    Our Races and Factions:

    • The Imeris Entente

    Comprised of the proud Dwarven clans of Votha, the star-gazing high-elf Caeli, humans recently returned from Hell called The Lambent Front and more recently the mysterious Myriad; constructs who awoke from long slumbers upon the arrival of newcomers on Nebelloren. The seat of their power is Parravon, a feudal city built in the northern fjords from which they now govern their people in this strange new land.

    • The Wildchoir

    Made up of the comfort-loving halfling Cuthail, the plant-like elven Kihai, the spiritual and wise orcish Hjen and the traditionalist monster-hunting human Endless Spears, the Wildchoir prides itself on becoming one with nature. Having been driven from their first settlement on Nebelloren due to the risk of upsetting the strange forces of a malevolent forest, and again from their home on the high reaching Savannah Plateau, The Wildchoir has now settled near Parravon and is working together with the Imeris Entente to reestablish a foothold on Nebelloren.

    The World:

    A huge custom map, populated with over 100 wildlife mobs unique to our server and gorgeous biomes dotted with strange ruins and interesting vistas. Our dedicated team of Storytellers, Community Moderators and Techies provide support for personalized crafting, plot and mechanics.With a plethora of combat, racial and story based abilities, profession based classes and even opportunities for your own unique and custom skills, both our mechanical and story based interactions are beyond the vanilla experience.

    Role-Playing:

    As a roleplay server, you will be playing a character of your own design! Think of a backstory, as detailed or as sparse as you want. What are your character's interests? How do they talk and act? Are they brave or craven? All these little nuances will add up to create a truly memorable character.

    Choose from a variety of classes stretching from 10 mechanical professions such as blacksmiths, doctors, and alchemists, to roleplay-based professions such as a cobbler, explorer, or cheesemaker. Our team of Storytellers and Community Moderators will do their best to allow each player to form their own stories and make their own experiences.

    Information about Astra

    🏠 We have formatted our server in such a way that promotes the creation of cities and businesses.

    There are certain requirements that a city or country must meet for it to be recognized as official. These can range from how many members they have, to city banners and such.

    🌍 We also have a Dynmap (full server map on a website for live viewing).

    Personally, I find it really fun to just wander around the world, and finding these various destinations - seeing what our community has put together.

    👥 Despite the fact that we're a lot in this community, we all get along. That's something rare that I haven't seen on many other servers.

    No, you don't need to be 18+ to join our server. I have always found that rule on other servers quite idiotic considering people mature at different ages, so that's not something you should worry about.

    We have an active staff team - handpicked members that I find suitable to be staff. All our staff members are long-time players of Astra.

    On top of that, we also have a few custom plugins. E.g, you can vote in chat for the time of day, report others, list all cities making you able to view specific city activity as well as coordinates, view relics (exceptional or sentimental builds handpicked by staff & the community), a world map, and much more.

    There are quite a few data packs as well (vanilla tweaks). Our players are also able to check by themselves who has interacted with their build/storage without needing staff to do it. This saves everyone a lot of time.

    Please don't live millions of blocks away as the premise of this server is to interact with one another.

    Our goal:

    Amalthea is a trading-focused Minecraft server with few rules. It is based on ideas from land claim servers, anarchy servers and civ servers but it doesn't fall within any of these categories. The mechanics of the server aim to disincentivize PvP, and incentivize cooperation while also allowing for a lone-wolf playstyle for those that prefer it. Griefing is discouraged but completely allowed. With the exception of our land claims plugin, there are no other commands that you need to learn but there are quite a few unique mechanics as the server runs about 14 custom made plugins.

    The server started just one-two days ago.

    Rules:

    • No cheating/hacking/x-raying/exploiting/DoSing/DDoSing. Minimaps wih cavemode and gammabright are allowed.
    • No doxing.
    • No botting.
    • No spamming or advertising unrelated to the server.
    • No bypassing the /ignore command.
    • No using claims to surround other players, their builds and/or their claims.
    • No real life threats.

    Useful information:

    • Fully reworked PvP system. PvP skills are not really required to win a fight, the main determinant is how far each player is from their base. You could win a fight near your base without even clicking.
    • Land claims. (GriefPrevention)
    • Block breaking and crafting recipes have a chance to fail and you need to keep practicing to reduce it and be more efficient. The game is effectively more grindy than vanilla Minecraft, and materials will be more rare than in vanilla.
    • Trading chests for item exchanges. *In-game explanation of server mechanics and rules in the form of chat tips that you'll periodically receive until you acknowledge them.
    • Mending gets consumed to reset the repair cost of items but may randomly cause one of the other enchantments on the item to lose one level.
    • Anti-lag system that freezes the AI of mobs, reduces spawn rates, culls big herds and breaks redstone mechanisms to keep TPS high, without admin intervention. Our intention is to automatically moderate player behavior based on server TPS and not have to go around and tell players what they are allowed to do and what they are not.
    • Find who made changes in an area by slapping a block with redstone dust in hand.
    • Anti-cheat. (we own two of them and we'll be testing which one is better)
    • Right click with empty hand to sit on stairs.
    • Shrines: curse your enemies and/or get blessings for yourself by offering materials.
    • See the distance between you and a treasure map.
    • Item duplication prevention. (IllegalStack)
    • Villager eggs can be created by burning 6 emeralds at once.
    • Villagers without a job will be stricken by lightning.

    This is a small vanilla server with a few vanilla tweaks. We try to stay vanilla as much as possible but with a few quality of life changes and tweaks for more enjoyment.

    We started out as a small group of friends from Germany. We are in our mid 20s and have been enjoying Minecraft since our school years. We have always been keen on playing together and having fun in this virtual world.

    Living in a world not only by ourselves is a lot more enjoyable and fun! Seeing buildings grow and other things being built from other people is just a great feeling and gives so much joy.

    We have formed a very diverse community of people from all over the world in almost all age groups. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Most of us are Europe Based but anybody is welcome.

    The world is decently old and there are many abandoned bases, depending on who's base it is, these bases may be claimed and brought back to life. If that is not your thing, there is near unlimited unclaimed land... just go anywhere! :) (We don't have any land claim plugins, if you see no base near the spot you like just place a few signs down).

    If you don't feel like building alone, I am happy to introduce my big mountain area project that needs a lot of work but is looking great already. Or just ask others to come help out or form a partnership! There are also a few groups around that you will learn to know that exist.

    There are some projects around spawn where we build together too! Getting involved with the community helps motivate everyone and you can definitely make new friends here! :)

    Features:

    This is a vanilla server and there are no mods installed. We are running on papermc with a few little tweaks that visually don't change the vanilla gameplay but improve the vanilla experience on a server by a lot!

    We do everything in survival, no creative or other game modes. There will be no commands for items/levels/spawning etc. We do like to keep track of how many deaths someone has, so we use the scoreboard for this. We use a few tweaks without destroying the vanilla experience, some are just plain fun, some are near essential for a SMP. None are final and everything is voted on by the community:

    Mob Heads have a chance of dropping on a kill (Reason: Fun)

    Player Heads will drop if killed by a player (Reason: Fun)

    The Enderdragon will drop an elytra (Reason: this helps the long marches through the end when it's been raided for thousands of blocks already)

    Shulkers drop 2 shells each (Reason: Same as above)

    AFK Display (Reason: To see if someone is afk and not active)

    Multiplayer Sleep (Reason: only 1/3 of the online players in the overworld have to sleep to skip the night)

    Minecraft Speed Plug-in (MSP - This allows you to accelerate the Minecarts top speed. There are many ways to travel fast. Minecarts are near points less because of the slow max speed. This plugin changes the speeds, but only if one desires)

    Craftable Sand and Spore Blossom (As we do not allow duping and using end portal glitches etc we have a complicated method of crafting sand. If one needs too much sand for a project, he/she is able to use this renewable method by building a few farms)

    Creative World Portal (At Spawn there is a custom custom Portal which sends out into a small Flat World with Creative Mod. Here you have a separate inventory but you can collaborate with others without leaving the server! Check it out it has many cool builds already, most of them have been built in our Survival World too!

    Core Protect and Vanish (These are here for your safety! Only some mods and me are able to use them. We log every single thing somebody does, be it placing blocks, setting a building on fire or taking something out of a chest. By logging all this nobody can cheat or grief on the server. Furthermore we can undo any action a player takes by simply typing 1 command. All your builds will be safe :) )

    TrekCraft is not an ordinary server. Here at TC we have a growing community that takes part in events every week and staff that will help you through any situation. We have a large number of game-enhancing plugins, including Towny, McMMO, Mythic Mobs with great custom bosses, ArtMap for creating custom artworks, Jobs, chest shops, crates, auctions and auction house, quests, treasure hunts, business partnerships, etc! These plugins help players have the best experience, whether it's having fun with friends, working hard to level skills or trying to build the best town. Our staff also hosts events like trivia (all with items obtained legitimately), weekly contests and competitions!

    INTRODUCTION

    VanillaPlusCivs is a semi-vanilla civilisation server focused on roleplay and worldbuilding while still staying truthful to the original game. While most server add custom items, blocks and new complicated mechanics, we don't, prefering instead something that feels like a survival world with a few perks.
    In the world of Solis you can create characters, towns and nations and interact with others by making stories together, being friends or waging wars. You can be anything in here: a religious figure, a businessman, a powerful ruler, a knight, an architect, a farmer, a scientist, etc.
    The possibilies are endless, but do be aware that "show, don't tell" is a core concept here. Even though we're not about "survival of the fittest", only your actions will determine if you will suceed or fail in your objectives.
    Many players have came and went, many nations have risen and fallen. Even if your civilisation doesn't become the greatest in history or your name becomes legend, do know that no efforts are undermined. No history will be forgotten.

    MAIN FEATURES

    Geopolitics: You are free to make and govern your nation as you wish, and allies and enemies will come and go because of your decisions. Unlike in a factions server, not all nations are at each other's throats. Cooperation is not only possible, it's recommended until you're big enough.

    Three Lives War System: In a war, you have three lives. You die, you lose one. Lose all three, and you're banned until the war is over. With this system in place, you don't kill the same player a hundread times and wars don't last forever.

    Player Driven Server: Players are the one making the rules and the changes in the server here, staff is only really keeping things working nicely. You can propose and vote in favour or against changes to the server, as things are (mostly) not set in stone.

    Free to Play, Free to Win: Our ranks are given by how much you play in the server as rewards for your time and dedication. The server is run on donators that get a special rank, but do know that rank is just a "thank you for your support" and it doesn't give any real advantage in PvP or wars.

    Whitelist: Now, you might look at this and think "oh no, another interview", but you'd be wrong. We only use a whitelist because we require players to be active both in the server and on our discord, as it's the main method of communication between players. It's also where all the important stuff are, like rules and staff support.

    Shops: Each team is able to buy a plot of land in the public marketplace using in game money. Teams are then able to sell items through their shops to other visiting players in the marketplace.

    Events: ArcaneMC has many events custom made just for us.

    • Hunt: A chest is spawned randomly around the world or nether that provides great loot to the first person who finds it.
    • KOTH: Also known as King of the Hill is an event where the person or team who is able to hold a capture zone for a set amount of time is deemed the winner.
    • XP Hill: A hill in spawn that provides experience points to the one standing on it.
    • Heist: A KOTH with a special twist. A horde of custom mobs will attempt to kill those around the area, but when killed they drop custom loot.

    Prosperity is a survival-multiplayer server with a focus on large projects and making high level play more accessible.

    The goal of the server is to create an experience that makes large projects more accessible with a community willing to collaborate and various vanilla-friendly mods and changes.

    The community is made up primarily of techincal players, and we have an active Discord. Everyone is quite freindly and willing to help you out.

    Projects

    Various projects are being worked on at any given time. On the server new shops, farms, and other builds are being constructed all the time. There are already a few shops in the commercial area and many farms have beeen constructed, like a gold-bartering far, shulker farm, and raid farm.

    You can also collaborate with other members of the server and get help with your projects on the new creative server. With WorldEdit access and more Carpet commands.

    Mods and tweaks

    The goal of modding on this server was to reduce some of the grind of the vanilla game by making more resources renewable, like sand, sponges, deepslate, blackstone, and more, along with introducing various quality life tweaks, and changes for technical play, like using Carpet bots.

    For the sake of clarity the server is modded, you can see a full list of mods [here](), however none of these mods break redstone functionality, nor break compatibility with vanilla clients and worlds.

    Server(s)

    The main server is hosted in the US with 10GB of RAM, a 4Ghz CPU, and an SSD. This means 20 TPS, and low enough MSPT to be running multiple farms at the same time, or generating new chunks without slowdown.

    The creative server is hosted in Germany with 6GB of RAM, a 4Ghz CPU, and an SSD. You can make large edits, or /tick warp to test farms without an issue.

    CraftCraft is a new server, of what was once just a realm for my friends and I. We have a well developed area near spawn but lots of fresh terrain not too far away. Looking to create an active tight knit player base of builders and technical players. We play in the latest version

    Our player base is a mix of builders and technical players, with a developing shopping district, a pvp arena in construction, and lots of fun to be had. We also have a discord channel to keep in touch.

    Our server is hosted in Canada by pebblehost, runs at 20tps reliably.

    We run a few basic plugins like carpet mod, but strive to keep the experience as vanilla as possible .

    GlacierSMP Season 2 [Semi-Vanilla] [SMP] {Whitelisted}

    The GlacierSMP is a welcoming semi-vanilla SMP server that seeks to create a server with friendly people and cool builds. The server aims to be close to the vanilla experience, with only a few sustainability and quality of life plugins.

    The server has been reset recently following season 2 of the server, so new players will be on a similar level to older players.

    There are over 100 members in the Discord server, and lots of cool builds around spawn.

    We have a dedicated team of mods who do their best to catch cheaters. There is a whitelist in place designed to stop cheaters and hackers, to make the experience better for those in game. Changes to the server are voted on by the community, so everyone has a say in what happens to the server.

    Server Summary

    We take Minecraft Survival Multiplayer (SMP) back to the fundamentals. With only some minor quality of life features to improve gameplay, we avoided restricting gamemodes such as Towny or Factions, or bloated land-claiming plugins.

    Grief is NOT allowed, but we do allow stealing and raiding. Stealing would be far too difficult to enforce on a public server without landclaims, grief is easier to rollback.

    Why are we semi-vanilla instead of vanilla? We have a few features, such as liquid tanks to store lava, milk, water and XP, the ability to use leads on villagers and most mobs, and we allow for 2 /sethomes and /spawn. (not including bed).

    We don't give handouts like kits or have /tpa.

    General Informaton

    • World borders: Overworld & Nether 70,000 blocks in each direction of spawn. End has unlimited world border and resets every month.
    • Vanilla spawn rates, 70 per player
    • View distance of 16 (ticking:10, no tick:16)
    • Hosted on an AMD R 3950X @ 4.7ghz with 10gb of ram, 256gb SSD. 20TPS is maintained even in peak times
    • PvP enabled outside spawn, but those who slaughter in community areas are punished. Killing someone at your base or in the wild is allowed and classified as fair game.
    • Because the server has powerful hardware we have no restrictions on autofarms and villagers.

    Server Features

    • Established public farms and nether/overworld highways
    • If a certain percentage of the server sleeps, the night skips
    • A /trade command that allows for secure player based trading because there is no admin shop.
    • Toggle all player chat messages with /silence
    • Set 2 configurable waypoints with /sethome <name>. and /home <name>.
    • We log everything (inventories, block placements/breaks, chest transactions to easily punish griefers and rollback grief for your convenience
    • A whitelisted spawn region we add players to so they can make shops. Stealing is not allowed in the whitelisted spawn area for a viable shopping district
    • You can use leads on most mobs, including villagers

    Server Rules

    1. Do not modify your client (We have a powerful anticheat and a competent staff team) (exceptions include reasonable modifications such as shaders or optifine)
    2. Do not use any item duplication glitches (exceptions include TNT, rail and carpet dupes)
    3. Do not grief anywhere but stealing is allowed (Staff rollback griefs and ban griefers)
    4. Refrain from being toxic in chat or throughout gameplay
    5. Adhere to admin and mod directions

    CraftcoreV2 is recruiting a hand full of players.! This is a community driven server with active discord for rules, communication, polls, etc. Looking for players who want to have fun and take part in community projects. Community ideas will be voted on via discord. My desire is to get a good group of players to further build the server with. There is no requirement to be active all the time, we understand how busy life is. We are currently in a world border of 8000 blocks. If resources or player room becomes and issue we will expand accordingly.

    Currently we have about 10 players who are on a lot, and roughly 23 on the whitelist that get on when they can. We have players from all over the world, Germany, US, UK.
