SoftSlayer has been around for 10(!) years now, with a pretty dedicated community that still plays a bunch of games together (obviously including Minecraft). Our server is small and pretty simple, it's a mostly vanilla atmosphere with a few things added like /home, /warps and our own Shopping District. Everyone is friendly and helpful with most things needed. Let me tell you some high points! Our community comes first. We have a group of people that are super friendly, willing to help new players, and are just fun to hang around and play games with. We just wiped less than 2 months ago and completely restarted our world, while taking a step back and going more for the vanilla side of things. We have events where we all get in discord, have fun, and mess around while doing various things in Minecraft. New this week! Shops are out! A few shops have been popping up in our honor-based shop system! If you wish to corner a market and get out in the economy, this server may be for you! We let people set their own prices with in game items (Generally diamonds) and sell whatever they wish! Supplies, mats, services, you name it! Every 2 weeks (minimum) we will be having server wide events just to keep involvement. Our most recent event was our Fairgrounds event! (There will be plenty more of those!) What do we have planned? In servers past we had a custom map teleportation plugin. (It's a very small, slightly easier way to get around the map, but won't be a big part of our server, nor will it be necessary to use it in any way). We plan to add that in later, once we build spawn out a bit more, but for now, they won't be implemented. We'll be doing at least monthly events, but we plan on doing events every two weeks currently. We do have a discord verification for our greylist. | Posted: 03 Aug 2021 08:56 AM PDT Minetown is a historic server that has been up since September 2010! (IP is at the bottom) You spawn in the lobby server, with the original survival map under you! Once connected to the server, you can pick any of the following modes: /Main - Main is the most popular mode, being a vanilla server which has money, shops, auction house, and sethomes. You can claim land, use /warps to go to player's set warps verified by the staff team, and play how you want! Join someone in a city, play on your own, or in a clan with people! /Creative - A creative server which allows claiming plots, using /warp plots, then /plot auto, and after awhile, if you run out of space, you can go to the freebuild area, claim using a golden shovel, and build for more room. /Vanilla - A 5kx5k world, with a nether highway to the border each way. There is a one-time random teleporter in the spawn, or walk out and explore the surrounding jungle. The only commands are to switch servers, and the land claiming plugin. Only place where griefing allowed, and PvP is always on, so keep yourself safe! /Skyblock - A nice place, you can pick which type of island you want to spawn in. By yourself or with other players, skyblock has /shop and the ability to do tons of challenges.
