Our fourth season has so far been a big hit among our community and we're now looking for even more people to join our wholesome minecraft family :D So who are we and what can we offer? Each season we try to have some kind of quirk to keep it a bit different from the last one, and this season we have The Four Tribes. The world has been divided into four territories where you're only allowed to make your base and farms within your tribe's land. These tribes are each represented by a minecraft mob; Bee, Fox, Goat and Axolotl! Throughout the season we'll be having a special game going called The Tribe Games where you can earn your tribe points! You earn them mainly by participating and hosting events for the community but more ways may be added as time goes on. The tribe with the most points by the end of the season gets a minor perk in the following season :D Other than this quirk we're a fairly normal vanilla focused SMP. The plug-ins we use are minimal and never takes away from the "vanilla feel". We don't make use of teleports so to travel over the map we have a nice nether hub system set up with ice roads. At the center of the map we also have our Spawn island. This is neutral land where no bases or farms are allowed. Instead here you'll find our Shopping district and Mini-game district. Everyone are free to open up their own shop or game! We mainly use a diamond based economy that is trust based although staff does have ways to keep an eye on things to make sure no one goes ahead and steals or griefs (if found guilty of these offenses you risk getting permanently banned). I'll start with quotes from the MineCraft Wiki: Ultra Hardcore... the main difference being players cannot naturally regenerate health. Like regular Hardcore, players cannot respawn if they die. These are the important points. This is where we're coming from. This isn't one of those 30 minute speed UHCs, or even the collapsing border UHCs of later versions. GatKong created this MineCraft datapack in the spirit of that original UHC season, but made it more difficult with a few additions. On this server, this is how you'll be playing: There are no teams. Free-For-All is the order of business here. PvP is enabled, but you'll need to find other players if that's how you want to win. There's a whole world out there. No borders, shrinking or otherwise. Go see it! The game lasts a week, from Friday to Friday. The server resets every week, with a new world and nothing carried over. This will happen Friday afternoon in US time. The winner will be determined based on points. You score points for being logged in, gaining experience, killing things, getting achievements. The first dragon kill is the big score, and is worth 12,000 points to whomever manages it. First a bit of general infomation: im new when it comes to runnign communities so apolgise if this looks a bit amateurish so when I say roleplay elements what do I mean? all of this is mostly bring you own lore, but don't go too crazy, and It have to be approved before its canon. I personally prefer improv to scripted event, however I like to give room for both. what type of server besides the roleplay, am I hoping to create? I don't want to have to make blanket rules such as don't grief people and define what that is. but its what my character would do is not a excuse! But at the same time if you the victim consider stuff even if there is no direct benefit for you, conflict is a great source of roleplay what are my expectations for members: - be active, vacation and all such things can happen, but if you inactive for a prolonged amount of time - don't be a hermit/hermits/don't run off to build you own little thing a thousand of blocks away. This is - the server is going to have simple voice chat on it, use it! Especcialy for roleplay stuff, its so much - I was a bit in on it in the roleplay section but I think it be great if you keep yourself to certain focus Closening words did you read trough all that?
