Applying ASAP means a chance to join in time for the first server-wide event, slaying the Ender Dragon and freeing the end. We believe in trust and respect. Particularly respecting the borders of other players' lands, therefore there is no land claims plugin. Our highly active staff have the necessary tools to find thieves and griefers quickly, and they are dealt with just as quickly. Medieval style? There are no strict rules or guidelines that tell you what you can or cannot build, other than keeping it at least somewhat medieval/fantasy-based. All (not too laggy) redstone machinery and farms are allowed (TNT and rail duping are the only dupes allowed). So what can you do? Well if you want, you can create your own town/city, form alliances, set up trades, etc... The only limit is set on PVP, which has to be agreed upon beforehand, as this is not a PVP server by nature. Our goal is simple, to create a non-resetting map where peoples ideas and builds can come together. We aim to strive as close to vanilla Minecraft as possible in servers and allow an "anarchy" style feel to the game, whilst disallowing hacked clients. The server was set up on the 23rd July and will never reset from this map. Those of you familiar with the term anarchy in Minecraft are likely familiar with FitMC, our ideals are similar to 2b2t however we disallowed hacked clients to make the game more fair. Many players opt to create history in the way of massive builds that are incredibly hard to create on survival servers, some create huge farms with complicated redstone mechanics, and others embrace full anarchy and loot and pillage any and all builds they can find. This creates an interesting dynamic where builders will often hide their bases in careful ways to prevent being found whilst they work on their masterpieces. The idea of allowing griefing is intentional as we aim to mirror a survival experience as best as possible, there is no protection from people in vanilla Minecraft and the thrill of that is often enjoyable. We noticed a lack of anarchy style survival servers in the EU Community and so set our goals on providing a server for people seeking better ping and connection to the server. Despite this, ping is good for other players such as NA East often receiving around 80 ping which is good. We currently have around 20 members and require an application to be whitelisted. The server has been up for about 2 1/2 months. A few major lore events have happened with many more to come. (With school starting lore events have slowed down a bit) The Origins Mod consists of new origins/races to choose from, and each origin has its strengths and weaknesses, providing new gameplay opportunities and challenges. The Hybrid SMP has a total of 2 origin mods and uses the fabric launcher along with the fabric API mod so you only need to download 3 mods and the fabric launcher if you don't have that already. There are a total of 18 origins you get to choose from at the start. If you want to change your origin later you can, but only once. To do so, you must be given the Orb of Origins item in-game by an admin. The world was generated with Mo' Structures, so there are tons of new places to explore all without having to download another mod. Most people have good gear and almost everyone is willing to share and help out. Admins are pretty laid back although any duping or cheating will result in a swift ban. ModerationThe server is equipped with AntiCheat Reloaded. This prevents OP Abuse and incessant slurs, but also handles Movement and KillAura Checks. I also utilize Paper's built in Anti X-Ray, which configures unseen ores to turn to stone, essentially eliminating X-ray and baritones usefulness to any degree, and ensures all players are on an even ground. The Player ExperienceIs fairly vanilla. We do utilize some data packs from vanilla sleep, as well as typical SMP Player and Mob heads, however, the usage of any client side mods, our plugins, data packs, or resource packs would be entirely optional. I chose to run with Purpur as it is open source, and ridiculously customizable. We do allow any gravity block dupes, including sand, gravel, tnt, concrete powder, etc. The usage of Rail and Carpet dupes is also enabled and permitted. All users are given access to the CoreProtect command /co inspect; this offers increased protection and generally less staff investigation in case any issues were to arise, not to mention I have full access to CoreProtect In the odd case rollback is needed. Similarly, I offer players the usage of a creative server on entirely different hosting, this server comes with WorldEdit, and runs the same version of Purpur as our Survival Server. This server is perfect for testing out mechanics you may not want to invest into on the survival server, or for prebuilding and taking schematics to rebuild.
