    🦊 ZorroMC - Where The Fox Builds

    ZorroMC is a 1.17.1 Java Minecraft server where we pride ourselves in giving a feature-rich gameplay, without any of the fluff from Factions, Towny, McMMO, etc. Our server is centered around the community, thanks to the various events, polls, and projects we host. To ensure that our community remains mature, active, and well-behaved, we require you to fill an application in order to get into the server. This also helps in blocking the vast majority of troublemakers. However, we try to be as inclusive as possible, so we'll accept anyone so long as you do your upmost on the application and demonstrate that you are a mature human being.

    We are a new server launching tomorrow at 3 PM EST, so the world is freshly generated, ready to be filled with player builds. Don't fear having to play alone either, as we have several players ready to play together with you. We also have 3 staff members: CoyoteWolf and aStoneHoe (Chief Moderators), and JuanDelPueblo (that's me, the founder of ZorroMC). Our current host is located in Chicago, USA; and should have plenty of performance for our server.

    ✨ Our values

    To help guide our server and keep it consistent, we have four key values that we abide by for ZorroMC:

    1. Quality - A quality server needs to be fun, balanced, and well-tested. Our staff team should also be organized and trained, to make sure they can offer the best support to everyone.

    2. Democracy - Under a democracy, players can vote on and decide if to implement a new feature or change on the server. We will never add a feature that no one asked for without first seeking permission from the community.

    3. Transparency - A transparent server means that we won't make any changes before first disclosing it to the community. We will also publicly disclose punishments to players, and do a monthly report showcasing our finances.

    4. Cooperation - A server without cooperation from the community is a boring one. We make sure to plan community builds, host events, and even voice chat from time to time.

    🎮 Our top features

    1. Custom terrain - We utilize the William Wyther's Overhauled Overworld datapack in conjunction with the Caves and Cliffs addon for amazing terrain generation. All biomes have been enhanced in their own unique way, mountains reach heights never seen before, caves have been expanded, and the world height is now 384 blocks tall, making for an incredible experience when exploring.
    2. Online map - Our online map has a vanilla-like style and is designed for navigation first, no fancy intensive 3D mode or unnecessary features. There is also a Fabric mod available that adds a minimap utilizing the online map as a source. Players can set markers with the permission of a staff member via a sign or banner.
    3. Discord integration - Our Discord bot comes with many integrations with the server such as bi-directional chat between Minecraft and Discord, and proximity voice chat.
    4. Enchanted chorus fruit - Once crafted, consuming the chorus fruit will teleport you to your bed from anywhere in the world. The recipe is 1 chorus fruit surrounded by 8 amethyst blocks.
    5. Mob spawn at zero light level - Taken from the 1.18 snapshots, this feature will reduce the amount of torches needed to light up an area. While this may affect the spawn rate of some farms, we believe the trade off will be worth it as we're simply backporting a feature from a later update.
    6. Instant leaf decay - Once all logs of a tree are chopped off, the leaves will instantly decay on their own. No more waiting around for leaves to decay or removing them manually, they just disappear™.
    7. Improved shulker boxes - Right click the shulker box while holding it, and it will open the contents of the box without having to place it. Incredibly convenient for use as a backpack or quick access to some key items.
    8. Custom recipes - We have a wide variety of custom recipes, taken from the vanillatweaks.net website save for the enchanted chorus fruit. See the website for the full list of recipes.
    9. VanillaTweaks - We have many of the VanillaTweaks staples like multiplayer sleep, armor stand tools, more mob heads, etc. See the website for the full list of VanillaTweaks datapacks.

    🎪 Our events

    Community builds

    A big part of the server, community builds are where we all agree to plan and build out something in particular. While the primary focus is on spawn, other projects can be tackled elsewhere such as the nether hub and a rail network. We may also use the Litematica mod to help facilitate the building process as a group.

    Building challenges

    Participate in building challenges to win large prizes. Sent out biweekly, you first pay an entry fee, then build something according to the given topic. Topics can be anything, from seasonal themes to pixel art or even one-chunk challenges. At the end of the contest staff will decide who's the winner.

    Minigames

    We host minigames events for players that would like to relax and have some fun. These events are done at least once a week and can include build battles, tag, UHC, and various other multiplayer maps. There is also a role you can select to get pinged for each event announcement, so you can never miss one.

    3. No offensive status
    4. Keep your nickname as your Minecraft username

    Greetings everyone!

    A relatively new semi-vanilla and recent SMP has opened up! This SMP has a friendly small community, as well as hand-picked staff with kind personalities! We will do our best to fit your needs and desires, in this brand new server!

    There are no age limits or age minimum! In our opinion, it's rather stupid to have an age minimum or limit, due to the fact well, maturity isn't represented by age! Either way, on this server, you can be as silly or mature as you like!

    Our judgment has decided that Fabric is a good framework to use for the server instead of paper! So I hope that gives you some idea of the server's possibilities and power. We also like to keep mods to a minimum, due to the fact we'd still like to stay somewhat vanilla, while still being fun and long-term.

    Introduction

    Welcome to Chertia! Chertia is a semi-vanilla survival server set in a land of magic and monsters known as the Kingdom of Chertia. This server is heavily inspired by Mianite, but has evolved over time. We've created our own identity with completely new characters and an ongoing story that everyone is able to contribute to in some way or another. The server features a full story with character creation features, a magic system, a race system, a dynamic weather system, and more.

    Throughout your adventures on Chertia, you will encounter and interact with interesting player and story characters. Regular (usually 2-4 times weekly) events ranging from fun games to perilous adventures will keep you engaged with the server in a unique way.

    The server is on normal difficulty and is hosted in Montréal, Québec. It runs on PaperMC (Purpur).

    Season 4 began on Friday, August 6, 2021.

    The Story

    You are thrown into the mysterious world of Ahiro, in the Kingdom of Chertia. More specifically, the province of Calytrix. Osmond, a character from Season 3, returns alongside a wide cast of all-new characters. The interactions between the player characters and story characters will play the central role this season.

    In this season, the focus is on a group of young potential gods (called 'godlings') as the players try to mentor them and prepare them for potential godhood.

    Additionally, each player has their own player character. You can visit our Character Guide to learn about creating a character.

    Server Events

    While the schedule shifts from week to week, the following is the norm at the moment:

    • Every Friday night, we host a major story event where some of the characters will be on the server, interacting with the players and advancing the server's storyline.
    • On most Saturdays or Sundays, we host Roleplay events where players have the opportunity to get into character and roleplay their hearts out, creating their own stories and fun moments that make Chertia special.
    • Other days, you might have the chance to run into a character - they'll log on whenever they feel like it and start interacting. Be prepared at all times!
    • We usually try to host 2-4 events per week, including game nights & pvp events!

    The Server

    Chertia is mainly a semi-vanilla survival server. While we do have plenty of custom features, items and enchantments, these are mostly optional and can be ignored if you wish for a more traditional 'vanilla survival' experience.

    There are some commands that might be useful to know as you begin your adventure on Chertia. For a list of most available commands, view the page here.

    Roleplay is not required, but there is often roleplay going on! We like to distinguish this with a dedicated 'in-character' chat mode, where each player can identify themselves as roleplaying (or wanting to roleplay) in the tablist and switch to a special 'character name'.

    Server Rules

    Please keep these in mind as you begin your adventure.

    1. No griefing or stealing.
    2. No hacked clients, unapproved mods, or glitch exploits.
    3. Be respectful of others.
    4. All mob farm designs must be approved by staff. Most automatic farms are not allowed.
    5. Be kind & remain appropriate.
    6. Follow the roleplay, safety, & character guidelines (available on Discord).
    7. The answer to the last question on the whitelist application is "velvet".

    Joining the Server

    To request placement on the whitelist, please join the Discord server here. We do ask that applicants are at least 16 years of age.

    Our Discord server is a friendly, welcoming place with its own set of rules linked in the document above. We have several different on-topic and off-topic channels, including an 'out-of-context' starboard channel (which is full of gems).

    Datapacks & Custom Content

    There are a few datapacks on the server to improve the overall experience. They are:

    • Dragon Drops Elytra (VanillaTweaks)
    • Silence Mobs (VanillaTweaks)
    • Anti Enderman Grief (VanillaTweaks)
    • William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld

    There are also some additional alterations to the server, such as...

    • A full custom spellcasting & magic system, with wands, upgrade-able spells, and tomes!
    • Custom weather system, featuring unique weather types such as sandstorm, static, and hallow.
    • 20% of players sleeping will skip the night.
    • Discord/Minecraft connectivity - there is a #server-chat channel in Discord that relays communication between the Discord and the server. Like this!
    • Local chat - you can type @[radius] at the start of your message to send a local message (this won't appear in the Discord).

    Finally, there are some minor tweaks to mob spawning and other aspects of the server which tie into the story and concept. The server is vanilla survival at its core.

    About the Server: Shroomcraft is a family-friendly SMP that was created on November 30th, 2020. It is PvE and build-focused. Everything is strictly survival with the exception of a few quality-of-life plugins that are listed below and quarterly items that are given to those who financially support the server.

    Player shops can be found in the Netherhub, a massive iron-walled city on the nether roof. This hub also marks the center of the four major ice-highways that are used to traverse the server.

    Shroomcraft is a long-term server. There will be no resets. Whenever new updates are released the world border will be expanded and the server will update.

    As stated before, Shroomcraft is a family-friendly server. This means that players are expected to treat each other kindly and respectfully, avoiding slander and profane language. Players who fail to do so will be banned. It should also be noted that most of the players are adults, but adult content of any form is strictly prohibited. These rules also pertain to the server Discord.

    Players must receive permission to build close to other people's builds. Fighting other players without mutual agreement is prohibited. Players must follow a building code when building on the nether roof, in the Netherhub, and when building nether portals.

    Other dont's include duping, x-raying, hacking, stealing, and griefing.

    It should be noted that tnt-entity duping is permitted.

    Plugins: Craftable Notch Apples, Colored Signs, SMP Spectator, and Geyser/Floodgate. Runs on PaperMC (Configured so does not affect technical Minecraft)

    Why we are recruiting: The SMP currently has 14 semi-active players. Most of the players are college students, and as a result, are very busy during the school year. Because of this player activity has slowed and we are looking for more players to brighten up the server by simply being active and contributing to the community.

    What we are looking for: We are looking for 5-10 new players, preferably Java, that can help better the Shroomcraft community. New players must be at least 16 years of age. They must also be active on the server weekly.

    AzeriaMC is a feature-rich Semi-Anarchy/Survival Minecraft server with massive custom builds, clans, custom mobs, events, items with unique special abilities, and players get rewarded for doing Minecraft tasks such as mining, fishing, and slaying the dragon.

    FadeHQ is a Minecraft Network created by players for the players. We strive to release game modes that our players will enjoy playing. FadeHQ has been built for easy scalability; we use MongoDB and Redis. Our most recent release is Squid Game; this game mode is based on the Netflix series Squid Game.     Squid Game is a series that was created in Korea and published on Netflix. The team at FadeHQ has recreated Squid Game in Minecraft for players worldwide to enjoy!

    --------Do you have all of the games?--------

    Yes, we have developed all of the games showcased in Squid Game and even recreated the arenas! Some of the games, such as "Ppopgi" had to be reworked a little as Minecraft does have limitations.

    --------What version do I need to play?--------

    We created Squid Game in 1.8 but allowed support for any version above 1.8.

    What Is Nodenium?

    Project Nodenium is a long-term Semi-Vanilla SMP run on Fabric with running performance and QOL mods/data packs. Community-wise, we are a very tight-knit group of talented, experienced, and long-term players. We're mainly all players who specialize in the building aspect of the game and dedicate hundreds of hours towards large community and individual projects.

    Who are we looking for?

    We're looking for players who are talented in either the building or technical aspects of Minecraft. We're mostly builders, but we are looking to expand to technical players as well with an extremely good knowledge of technical Minecraft, If you are an exceptional technical player, this doesn't remove the need to be a talented builder. In terms of building, we're looking for those who have extraordinary talent and experience with building. You must be capable of playing long-term for multiple months because we're looking forward to a server that will last many months and maybe even a year or more.

    When Will Season 9 Start?

    Season 9 has begun! Come apply and join in on the fun.We started on August 20th, 2021

    Server-Side Information

    We host our server on a dedicated laptop in USE. The server is run on Fabric with the following mods:

    - Simple Voice Chat

    - Lithium

    - Hydrogen

    - Carpet (All changes made with carpet and for performance and QOL, nothing game-changing)

    - Carpet Extra

    - Fabric-Discord Link

    - Dynmap

    - Ledger (Fabric's CoreProtect alternative)

    For Data packs, we use a variety of Vanilla Tweaks to enhance the experience on the server.

    We host two servers. One, our main Survival World, and secondly, a Creative Testing Server with many plugins such as WorlEdit to assist us with large-scale projects.

    To begin the application process head to https://projectnodenium.com, scroll down, and click apply to be sent to our Application Discord Server where you can fill out a Google Form and create a ticket to begin discussing your application with the Application Team.
