| LifeTheft SMP [semi-vanilla][PvP] Posted: 17 May 2022 06:55 AM PDT Hello everyone, I'm Clawara I'm 22 years old and I am currently developping a new 1.18.x LifeSteal SMP but with some twists to enhance the game and make it more enjoyable in the long term. I am developping my own plugins and the server will be out once we get enough people on the discord to play. The server will try to bring the best from public and private LifeSteal servers to make it as enjoyable as possible. The health limit will be 20 hearts maximum and 0 hearts minimum. The experience apart from the Lifesteal aspect is ment to be as vanilla as possible, no economy system (but a /trade plugin), no pay 2 win crates, no spawner items and no ranks will be added. There will be several protections to prevent players from boosting themselves by killing alt accounts, including a whitelist handled by a discord bot. So make sure you join the discord to get access to the server. A grace period will be in place to prevent new players from being killed as they arrive on the server, as well as a smart combat tag system to prevent players to leave the server during a fight. Reaching 0 hearts will result in a one week ban and all your progress will be vanished including your ender chest so make sure to be prepared when you go fighting. At last but not at least, there will be some events and some new mechanics to encourage people fighting but also exploring and farming. Our season 1 world will launch on the 10th of June. We're looking to build a rather small but active community with positive vibes who like to play Minecraft in many different ways. We are running our 1.18 snapshot upgraded to 1.18.2 currently and a 1.19 completely vanilla snapshot server. While it has been a lot of fun having modern cities, floating lush cave islands, a warm ocean only world, custom maps, including a Hogwarts castle map. Most players that want to stick around prefer just to play Minecraft. We have players that have been with us since 2017 (only a couple) and while I do plan to possibly have a surprise server map available from time to time, currently it is just these two. The server would be friendly, just people building and messing around. I'm looking for people close to the age range of 13-18, but if you're a year or two off I wouldn't mind. If you do join, please try to avoid fighting, we want this server to be enjoyable for everyone and last. There wouldn't be cheats activated. If you have any complaints about someone, just tell me and I'll do my best to get things sorted out. No stealing, griefing, etc… unless the victim is your friend and they don't mind. We have over 150 discord members and nearly 900 unique joins over the past month and are only continuing to grow. There is no map reset or any form of reset planned for the future, however the world border will be expanding in the next couple of weeks to allow more expansion and resource gathering.Server Difficulty: HARD (Mobs are decently strong!)World Border: 10,000x10,000 World 7500x7500 End Unlimited Nether (Expanding soon)We aim to time travel back to the good old faction days of 2012-2015.The economy is growing and is being built by the players currently. We do not have any admin shops, but rather player shops where you can build your own shop on a plot of land and sell/buy resources within it. The plot of land costs $10,000 and the shop district is located next to spawn. There are already some really good looking player shops, and over 30 have been created!You can additionally sell items on the Auction House or to the server with /sellgui (However the sellgui prices are super low to encourage trading with other players. The gui shop is basically a disposal that gives some money back)The main way to earn money on the server is by doing jobs. There are many jobs that you can do here such as miner, hunter, fisher, farmer, explorer, and so on. You can view all of them with /jobs browse on the server. As a default member you can join 3 of them to start. These will passively earn you income as you do things that you already would.Killing mobs as well as mining experience blocks will drop coins. When you pick up a coin the value of it is added to your balance. Killing mobs and players gives a certain % chance that their heads will drop. You can sell these heads back to the server to make money as well. We also have custom fishing with over 80+ different types of bait and custom enchantments for fishing poles. You can join tournaments for whoever catches the most fish or the longest fish! You can gut your fish to earn entropy to craft custom fishing items, or you can sell the fish for extra money as well! The rarer the fish the more value it has! You can spend your hard earned in-game money on in-game ranks which grant you access to benefits such as extra homes, extra jobs, many commands, silk touching spawners, and so on. There are over 10 ranks you buy, with more being added as some players are already reaching the highest ones. You can view them in game with /warp ranks!We feature a mob arena that allows you to face waves of mobs. If you turn on the hunter job while doing this you get a lot of coins as well as money for each kill. We of course have mcMMO so you can level up different skills and use the special abilities that they give you. You can also grind some mcMMO stats in here as well. Currently there is 1 large arena, and there will be more built soon!We feature FactionsTop where a value is generated based on the worth of blocks and spawners within your faction land. Weekly rewards are given out to the strongest factions on the server! It's very competitive between the balance leaderboard, the mcmmo leaderboard, and the factions leaderboard already. If you're an experienced player I think you'll find there's some very good players on the server that will be fun to compete/play with.BetterSleeping allows 40% of the server to sleep in order for night to pass. This is helpful because the mobs are hard are no joke without the right tools. You can also store books/enchanted books inside of bookshelves on the server.
