We have a heavy focus on community; running weekly events, organizing enormous group projects, letting our players vote on all new changes/additions, and more. To keep our server safe from players who seek to troll or grief, we employ a whitelist process that is reviewed by the Admin team. These will always be upheld and used to judge any potential additions or changes in Dominion's future. The Vanilla ExperienceWe are committed to preserving the vanilla Minecraft experience. We will never add any game modes and we will never add any plugins which fundamentally make the game different, easier, or harder than vanilla. You will never see plugins such as mcMMO or rankings on our server. In addition, while Dominion does provide a Donator rank, this is purely for players who wish to give back and help fund the server. Donators do not and will not ever receive any benefits beyond priority access to a full server. TransparencyWe do not keep any secrets! We think it is important for our players to know where their money is being spent and ensure that every penny goes toward running the server and not somebody's grubby back pocket. We will always share how much we make in donations, as well as all associated costs with the running of the server. We are also completely transparent about any community issues that may arise such as dismissal of staff, banning of influential players, and integrity changes to how the server functions. Community VoiceWe always pride ourselves on listening to our community. We welcome feedback and honest opinions and are continuously improving our server and community because of your feedback. If we are ever going to make a change or addition to dominion (be it a new plugin, config change etc) then we run a poll where every member of the community gets to cast a vote. Polled content/changes only take effect if the community votes at a majority 75% approval rating. Nothing you do in terms of diplomacy is binding, and you don't have to roleplay either. If you just want to build then that's also fine. Though, if you want to stay undisturbed, you still have to consider what nation to join, as there is no way to avoid wars. The staff team try to make as little rules as possible, and not overcomplicate things, with the exception of wars, which need some rules and restrictions to make them fair, fun, and rewarding. Anyone can claim a nation if they want to, though, as we don't have any claiming plugin, this has to be done in the discord, and accepted by the moderators. Claiming is required to have your land protected from griefing. Though, if a player wants to, they may also choose to not claim land and stay nationless. - - - Staff team - - - The staff team on Globecraft is elected by the players. This happens on a monthly basis. Everyone who wants to be elected or re-elected, including eixsting staff, can apply for it, and then all players have a vote on which candidates they want to win. They discovered a strange new land in the mists, where they seek to reestablish their societies. The continent of Nebelloren. They built towns, roads, farms, one might even say a home. The factions grew, fought, reconciled, and died. And new arrivals always appeared from the mists, eager to build a new future for themselves in this new home of theirs. And then the sky shattered above them The very earth that made up the continent was the battleground for the final conflict of two gods. In the wake of the cosmic duel taking place above it, the earth itself rebelled. The dirt bubbled, sand froze, water flew. In order to survive this sundering of their new home, the Entente and Choir were once more forced to flee a home. Once more, into the mists. They spent years on nearby islands, at sea, some even entire lifetimes. Then, all of a sudden, they found themselves making their way back to Nebelloren, accidentally or otherwise. But what they find is a strange new continent in the mists, where they seek to reestablish themselves once again. The shattered continent of Nebelloren awaits. To new arrivals, the land is just as alien as any other, but they may find their new friends and neighbors recognizing and remembering certain locales and locations. This is a role-playing server. An enormous 14k by 17k custom map, populated with over 30 wildlife mobs unique to our server and gorgeous biomes dotted with strange ruins and interesting vistas. Our dedicated team of Storytellers, Community Moderators and Techies provide support for personalized crafting, storylines and mechanics. With a plethora of combat, racial and story based abilities, profession based classes and even opportunities for your own unique and custom skills, both our mechanical and story based interactions are beyond the vanilla experience.
As a roleplay server, you will be playing a character of your own design! Think of a backstory, as detailed or as sparse as you want. What are your character's interests? How do they talk and act? Im gonna be fully honest here this isn't the most advanced server ever, and we don't have much players as of now, but its worth trying to make a fun place on the internet.
