My starter base so far, the house isn’t much to look at but I think the staircase is nice. Will improve the house at some point

Amplified. Day: 10 - Bed on day 4. Furnaces are from my trips when I needed to cook beef. Killed a LOT of zombies for food, got 2 iron ingots by doing so. Third one was from under sandstone. Farm is nearly done, just need a well. Nearby swamp had lilypads, no iron tho... House from sandstone?

    Minecraft VR is outstanding.

    Posted: 21 Jan 2019 01:26 PM PST

I've played both versions of Minecraft VR. Windows 10 and the mod Vivecraft (which I thought I couldn't play at first since I own a Oculus, I was wrong.) The experience is totally different. Everything is more intimate, explore the world is so satisfying mountains look huge, buildings too, you really feel like you're in the world. Now the reason I prefer Vivecraft over Windows 10 is two fold. Number one extra mods, number two roomscale controls. Combat is so much more fun when you're actually fighting monsters, and swinging your sword. The bow is so much more fun to use since I am actually drawing it back, aiming and firing. Dungeons like the nether fortress that usually were boring and bland were all of a sudden exciting and kind of uneasy with those Ghasts making freaky noises as I progress further. I even turned on shaders, which my PC cannot handle in VR, and despite being at 15 fps looked stunning. I have even found it hard to return to desktop minecraft. I highly recommend Vivecraft to anyone that owns or is going to buy a VR headset.
