- The time a blaze saved me from a ghast
- Finished the exterior of a star destroyer(still working on interior)

- My Survival Base
- Here is a bridge I built between my base and my friend's base. The strait of water it is built on is the main reason why I chose the seed. We live on either side of the strait. Also, thank you to Minecraft Oval Generator for providing a template for the arch.
- My minecraft base

- I built the RMS Titanic! Credit to Richlarrousse on YouTube for the great tutorial!
- My quiet little rail station, made in survival
- Hi, I'm new here! This is one of my latest builds. What do you think? Criticism is appreciated!
- Knocked a random Stronghold ceiling tile out to get a booster block. Hello there...
- The start of a large desert city I’m making, how does it look
- I terraformed a drained lake to look like the Nether, complete with a Nether style desert well.
/r/Minecraft 1 Million Subs Contest - Your Best Minecraft Memory Posted: 16 Mar 2019 05:40 PM PDT Hello /r/Minecraft! To celebrate 1 million subscribers and (almost) 10th Anniversary of Minecraft, we are running a little contest as a thank you for your support over the years. For this contest, we'd love to know your best Minecraft memory! Whether it's bonding with new friends over a giant fortress, or meeting your fiancee over a fated PvP encounter, we want to know all the great (or bittersweet!) memories you've made over the years. Be as creative as you like; pictures and art is good, so is text. The memory does not have to happen inside Minecraft, but it should be Minecraft related. The rules are simple:
We have three prizes available (thank you /u/HelenAngel from Mojang for sponsoring the Minecoins!)
Good luck, and happy Minecrafting! [link] [comments] | ||
Minecraft Bi-Weekly Build Challenge #67: Ground Zero Posted: 17 Mar 2019 04:59 AM PDT LAST WEEK'S THEME: STEAMPUNK ISLANDSGoldI definitely didn't expect to have a build this big when the challenge began. And according to Percal, this wasn't even big because of lack of time. It makes me wonder what you originally planned! Even though this build is big, size really did wonders for it here. Usually that can be a bad thing since sometimes people build what should be small builds and scale it up. Usually this results in a loss of detail and maybe bland walls. Here, size worked for you. Without it being that big, you couldn't have made those gears and chains, which really help make it fit with the theme. Only thing I would have maybe liked to see different is a couple shots of the interior or more inside the city. I found at some places, it looked a little cluttered (but seemed different in other shots). So, I think you would have benefited in showing some of those areas, just to give us a better sense of where everything was in the build. Great job! SilverYou said yourself that it was a strange build. But, it ended up working for you and I would say the strangeness and the idea of it makes it so much better! I loved how well the floating island part transitioned into the actual aircraft. To make a natural island actually seem natural as it flies along with a steampunk ship seems like a daunting task but here, you accomplish it easily. I also really enjoyed the nooks and crannies you put in your build. The lake with the fish was also a good touch, wondering how they would feel to be flying in the sky... Only critique is I found your ship portion a little small. I think it was good in lenght, but I feel that to support an island, the actual balloons and wings might need to be a bit bigger. Obviously this isn't a big deal, even without that your build still looks awesome! Good job! BronzeI absolutely love the balloon here. It's not your run of the mill "shape of balloon" with a single block like we may see so often. There's actually different things in there, little cross-sections in the balloon, wings on the balloon itself. Overall, quality balloon. However, the part that stuck out for me was the bottom of the ship and how plain and uniform it was. The other thing was the back of the ship, even the balloon part was a bit dull. Just a plain white surface. Even maybe cobwebs there to represent the exhaust going out? Still, besides those points, it's still a very complete build and one that I think anyone would be proud to make. Good job! Honourable mentions IntroductionWars have been fought and cities destroyed. It's a treacherous world to live in now. It's hard to breath, hard for anything to survive besides mutilated creatures and a couple resilient survivors. This time, this is what we're building. A world that has been lost, an apocalypse. Ground zero. New Textures Since we have a semi-official release of the new textures, they are now allowed (along with the old ones). However, if you use the new textures, please specify. I wouldn't want to think you're using a texture pack and disqualify you. I'm not as used to the textures, so I may not recognize them right away. Inspiration ChallengeGround Zero Build a scene which you would expect to see at ground zero. This can be any man-made disaster of your choice. Build mutilated creatures or fallen buildings, it's up to you to decide how you want to paint your scene after whatever mankind did to almost destroy us all. Rules
