(Yes, this globe has corners, it's Minecraft duh!) We launched our first season in late September of 2017 and over the year and a half we have built a strong and thriving community of players that we have come to know and love. With Minecraft 1.13 released in July 2018 and after a very successful first season, we have decided to open up again for new applications.We are looking for new members to join our global community and be a a part of making this season even better than the last one. Over the last several months we've built an expansive spawn town and shopping district. Here at Ebrius we value community over all and we want this server to be a place where you can relax, have fun, and meet new people. To make this possible we pride ourselves in having weekly events on both our semi-vanilla and creative/event servers. The events range from ultra hardcore (UHC), building competitions and much much more. We have the spawn town right by the ocean, so we are nice and close to the 1.13.2 features. Along with the spawn town and shopping district, we have a growing build team that helps create large massive community projects on creative before the community helps contribute resources or time to build said builds. We don't have an age requirement, but we do require you to act like a normal human being. The goal of this server is to create a place for people to just log on and relax with their new friends. The only real game-altering plugins we have are Towny, McMMO and iConomy, since we want to focus on the social aspect of the game. The meeting new people and playing with strangers. We've tried to keep the amount of plugins to a minimum because we don't want to tell people what to do and how to play the game. Do whatever you want, as long as it doesn't ruin it for anybody else. We have two nations set up currently, which you are more than welcome to join and make a town under, or you can make a town separate of those nations if you so please. | Posted: 04 Mar 2019 05:32 PM PST What is this server about? The Beautiful Game is focused on providing an enhanced experience that stays true to the art of Minecraft. All of the plugins we've chosen were with the express purpose of enhancing vanilla aspects of the game to bring out the beauty that is sometimes hidden behind its blemishes while also adding deep and engaging gameplay elements onto the existing framework of the game. The gameplay has been tailored to encourage playing together through the Towny plugin and incentivizes building things like public transportation in the form of railroads in exchange for towny tax cuts. Commands like /rtp and /tpa have fees attached to them so that things like public transportation are not only viable, but encouraged! We use Jobs, MCMMO, and EliteMobs to add an economy with custom rare items that come with benefits not possible in the pure vanilla version of the game. You'll spawn a custom world with beautiful terrain and custom biomes sure to provide you with many locations to build and adventure in. As this is a newer server, we also take the input of our players very seriously, any suggestions for plugins in our discord will be considered and we greatly value the input from players. This isn't to say we'll add any plugins you ask for, but we'll consider each suggestion with thoughtfulness and respect, rather than dismissing you as other servers may.
