    Description:

    We are a small but growing survival economy server with a few interesting features that set us apart from your standard survival server. While we do have some of the expected features of a survival server (claiming, kits, random teleport, auctions, chestshops, etc) we have a few notable features we'd like to mention that make us unique from the rest of the crowd. These include a hard world, mythicmobs, and rankups. Further descriptions are found below:

    MythicMobs

    MythicMobs is a plugin used to edit current mob behavior. This is done in a number of ways, from simply making slimes that spawn with a bigger size to making zombies that can spawn other mobs to help take you down. This feature is constantly being updated with new mobs every few weeks, so keep an eye out for them.

    Rankups

    This server contains in-game rankups that are separate from the donator ranks we also have. These rankups serve as a progression system that gives you access to more Jobs, better McMMO chances, and more homes/kits. Basically the rankups offer you a long term goal and is the primary focus of the economy on the server.

    PvE/PvP and the Hard World

    One of our current defining features is the Hard World. In the hard world is where you will find all of the MythicMobs as well as access to Jobs. The hard world is also the only section of the server with claiming disabled and PvP enabled, so you need to be on your toes when entering this world.

    Hello fellow friends,

    This game has been my childhood. I played since 1.3. I always played this game on hot summer nights in my room with friends, or alone. I remember playing modpacks and vanilla. I remember getting totally lost in this game cause it's so cool. Now I'm older. I'm 18 years old now.

    Video's on youtube did hit me with nostalgia so I went on what changes Minecraft all went through. And god. It's a lot. So I came to the conclusion: I want to play this game again! Now I have an amazing idea.

    I remember back in the days I had a server with 6-12 people and it was just vanilla. The format was simple. Just survival, and making buildings and stuff. The truth was, we all had one world, but we all had our OWN base and buildings. You can compare it to Mindcrack. Just some serious Mindcrafting. So, of course, we chatted a lot and we were really active, and we did mature "pranks" and it was a lot of fun. Now this: I want to do this again.

    If you are mature enough and want to join me in this adventure, hit me up on discord. We will make a little community with NOT a lot of people so we all know each other and GET to know each other. I'll tell you more things once you get involved.

    A Scoop of Vanilla is a friendly Minecraft orientated gaming community and has been in operation for over 5 years. We just started our 8th map on August 29th 2018. This is a long-term map with no reset planned for at least a year. Here is a community made photo album of their first week on this map!     Server Features:

    Economy:

    Our server features an economy system, wherein players can buy, sell, and trade items and services between each other, the market place, or the shopkeeper. Our shopkeeper sells nearly every item ingame, and likewise players can /sell nearly every item ingame. We also have a jobs system so you can earn a little money on the side.

    In addition to money, we also use "Merit" points, earned through completing daily tasks and voting. These can be used to purchase ranks, lucky blocks, etc. through the website store.

    PvE:

    We run a PvE server, so you won't find PvP or griefing in the survival world. We have a land claiming plugin in place to help you protect your homes and keep your valuables safe.

    As we are a PvE server, we include MobArena, where you can fight waves of monsters and bosses to earn money rewards. Our 3 MobArena maps are Call of Duty themed, including Highrise, Standoff, and Hijacked.

    For that PvP fix, you can take to /pvp where you can fight your fellow Minecrafters with the items you've earned in our Nuketown arena.

    mcMMO:

    We have mcMMO on Pinchcliffe, a plugin which implements a levelling system for various minecraft tasks, such as mining, woodcutting, taming, and archery. Level up by simply performing these tasks in your play time, and watch as these skills become more and more powerful.

    Extra Hard:

    Our server difficulty is currently set to hard. We have a system in place to increase the amount of monsters that spawn near the player, truly making nights something to fear.

    Parkour:

    In addition to MobArena and a PvP arena, our server includes a custom built, custom coded parkour hub, so you can practice your jumping skills in up to 12 parkour stages when you need a break from surviving.

    Achievements and Daily Tasks:

    To keep you supplied with a goal moving forward, we have a custom made achievements system, where you can complete varying difficulties of tasks to receive varying qualities of rewards. Similarly, we have a daily task NPC so that each day you log in, you have a goal from the get-go, and an extra means of earning item/money/point rewards.

    If you're 18+ and looking for a fun, relaxed, and community driven server, then Near Vanilla is the place for you! We offer a Multiplayer experience in a Vanilla Minecraft world, where you can create and make whatever you like in a safe and positive environment.

    About the server:

    Oftentimes the multiplayer experience can negatively impact the vanilla minecraft experience, or vice versa. Therefore, the only plugins we have aid grief prevention, administration, and those that enhance the vanilla multiplayer experience. With a dedicated discord and an admin team, we're sure that you'll enjoy a great multiplayer experience on our server without issue.     [WANTED][Vanilla] Good small community server for a returning player

    Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knew of some good simple servers for someone coming back to the game after several years. Preferably 18+, but only in the non-child sense not the NSFW sense. I used to run a small server for some friends several years and it was mostly survival for them while I played admin and built up like the "community center" and such with commands/worldedit. I mostly want vanilla, without any fancy mods that alter the original game too much past perhaps some QoL ones (veinminer, grief protect, etc). I never really got into many economy servers but I think that's because I always joined lateish and felt kind of "out of place" with it. So I'm not entirely against them but if they're not there it won't bother me much.

    Community outside of the game is also a cool idea. I have discord, as well as other games that I play if people are wanting to.

    All in all I just mostly want a server to play the game not alone. I don't need a whole big community or a very involved one, just other people to hang out with.

    About us

    PirateCraft is a Pirate themed Minecraft survival server. We are a 5 year tight-knit community that's developed over the years into a wonderful family.

     

    Our ethos for running PirateCraft is to have a permanent map that isn't ever Reset, builds will be kept and protected, you can disappear for 3 months and come back to carry on where you left off! We've had players come back after 3 years and continue where they left off!

    Hello, we are currently a small group of guys and gals who have decided to start our own brand new Minecraft server, hosted in the EU, with the focus on fun. We know from experience that some servers can take things a bit too seriously in regards to making the best looking server or having to video everything, not us! What we want is simple, to make friends and have fun whilst playing Minecraft and appreciating that not everyone can do epic looking builds, we value effort and contribution far higher than end product.
    We ourselves have been friends for a long time and we all met on Minecraft and this, we believe, is where Minecraft shines, bringing people together, and we would like to find like minded people to join us and hopefully become good friends, not just some other person on the server.
    One of the most important things for this server is that we want a democracy, we want all members to have an equal say on all things related to the server. This will make all things fair whilst really making it not just our server but yours too.

    As well as Minecraft we also play many other games together including, Ark, 7dtd, csgo, wow, rainbow 6 siege, gtav and many others.

    All applicants must have discord, a microphone, ideally be 18+ and adhere to the following rules:

    1. No griefing, any griefing will result in an automatic ban.
    2. No stealing, borrowing or using anybodies things without their permission.
    3. No Intentional player killing unless it is agreed upon by the people involved.
    4. No hateful speech towards other players or their creations, either in game or on videos or streams of the server.

    Welcome to Nova UGLounge, created out of the ashes of UGLounge, which previously fell due to past drama.

    Since it has three MC servers associated with it, I will post descriptions of each.

    Matcha Green: Spigot-based 1.13.2 server, has a myriad of plugins designed to make it as brutal as possible. Has a factions and economy system. Receives updating when needed. IP is 104.149.239.2:25589.

    Foundation Vanilla: "Vanilla With Sprinkles"-type modded server, sort of our vassal really. Receives updates every time a new build is out. IP is 104.149.239.2:25592.

    Compitum Magia: Heavily modded mostly magic-centric server, with emphasis put on difficulty. Bring your beefy PCs for this server. Receives updates on a good basis. IP is 104.149.239.11:25565

    Minecraft Maniacs [Semi-Vanilla] {Whitelist} {1.13.2}

    Minecraft Maniacs is a semi-vanilla survival server.

    We began around two months ago with our first world with our first server host – I was new to running a server and did not properly research providers before setting up, there were many issues with the hosts hardware which caused chunk errors and other issues with the server which we were unable to fix.

    We switched to a more professional host with much better hardware and sadly had to start a new world around 5 days ago, since then things have been going great and the server is running perfectly so we have decided to open applications up for some new members to join us.

    We have cordoned off a 1000x1000 space from spawn within it there are four 100x100 square in which we will build

    1. Shopping area – Player shops 1 chunk per shop.

    2. Arena – PVP, Spleef arena (open to more ideas)

    3. Community build area – Villager trading hall (still making plans)

    4. Still not 100% what we will do with this area as of yet

    In the remaining area around those sections we will be building community farms there are to be no single players with massive resource heavy farms as when too many players have them it ends up causing lag for people and we want to avoid this.

    We are still compiling a list of farms to be made but if they can be made we will give them a bash!

    The Nether-hub has been started with good progress being made.

    The plugins we currently use are

    1. Core Protect – An anti greifing plugin.

    2. Dynmap – A browser-based map of where players are (like google maps but for Minecraft) The unexplored parts of the world are black.

    3. One player sleep – One player is needed to pass the night.

    The rules are:

    1. No greifing, raiding or stealing

    2. No pvp unless agreed upon by both parties

    3. No x-ray or hacking

    4. Don't build right next to someone unless you both agree on it

    5. Don't be an asshole keep chat mature and don't spam

    6. There is a 1000 block each way radius from 0,0 in which not to build the area is reserved for community builds

    7. No resource heavy farms to yourself – This means no big redstone farms with lots of hoppers, pistons etc. We are going to build one big farm of each kind in the 1000 block radius from spawn, a lot of the lag previously was because there were too many farms so we have decided to make communal farms instead.

    We have around 10 people on each night usually, sometimes more.

    We are looking for active players - people who can play most nights for at least an hour and people who are going to build a base and interact with the community. There is no minimum age or anything but we do expect you to act maturely in chat if you can't behave then don't even bother applying.

    You don't need to be a master builder or a redstone genius as long as you are willing to try and learn along the way. I personally am not a great builder but I have had loads of fun learning different techniques from some of my server mates.

    Hello! Welcome to the post for the Hexicast SMP!

    Hexicast SMP is meant to be a Hermitcraft-like, mature that is based on cooperation, community, and creativity. We use Discord for our main communication source, and use the voice and text chats in our server almost every day. We may add some plugins soon, but we haven't decided on that entirely yet.

    We just have some simple server rules:

    ​

    1. Don't steal, grief, etc. This is meant to be a trustworthy and fun community, it doesn't let anyone enjoy the game if you steal, grief, etc.

    2. No using 3rd party programs. We don't allow any 3rd party mods or programs except for Optifine, Minimaps, Not Enough Items, and Better FPS. If you have questions about any others, please ask.

    3. Treat others as you would have them treat you. Don't be a douche! Simple concept.

    4. Don't be too childish. We have a fun-loving group of people. There are plenty of jokes going around through all of us, so just an FYI: If you get offended easily, this won't be the best experience for you. No one on the server aims to offend anyone, but swearing, vulgarity, etc. happens from time to time.

    Some people on the server started about a week ago, and that's when the world was started, so some members are advanced, but some are still just starting.

    [WANTED][Semi-Vanilla]{18+} Newbie to servers; VC, fun/relaxed, close-knit community

    Hey all ! This is my first time posting on the sub.

    I'm 19M from USA, Southern California ! I've been a long time player since middle school on my crappy laptop, couldn't really mod the game to the extreme because of that, so I only really played single-player and private servers with close friends on Vanilla (never knew that was the correct term for it haha). It's been long since I played Minecraft, but now that I have my new PC rig I wanted to re-kindle that fun the game brought me all those years ago.

    Overall, I'm looking for an 18+ server with a pretty regular group of players that actually talk with one another (i.e. through Discord), not just venture into their own corner or whatever and only talk sparsely through in-game chat. That's boring for such a fun game ! The best part of playing Minecraft is just having fun with friends, and hopefully I can find a server where we can eventually grow close to one another and talk outside the game as well. I'm open to non-vanilla servers as well, or any recommendations you may have that can show me what this game is capable of.

    BackInTime-Alpha>Modern [Vanilla] {Alpha 1.2.6}

    I got this interesting idea a while back. What if there was a server that started at MC alpha (1.2.6 or something like that, with survival mode still in it's infancy) and then gradually progressed one update forward each week. I've had this urge to replay old Minecraft, but I also wanted to relive the thrill of getting new updates every week. I therefore started this server, and so far it's been going really well!

    The server is online 24/7, and I am the one responsible to update the server each week to the newer version. The world is of course be the same between versions, so no progress is lost between updates.

    Arcane Survival is a 100% legitimate, Semi-Vanilla Minecraft server. We value a legitimate server and a strong community! No items have ever been spawned in. We've never switched into creative mode or installed WorldEdit in our survival world. Everything you see has been placed or mined how it should be - by hand! We have wonderful staff members, a close-knit community of over four years old, and a map that was generated in Minecraft 1.13 just over one year ago.
