    Hello /r/MCServers! I'm here to share CivClassic, which is a great civilization building server. It is semi-vanilla with most main features the same, save a couple key plugins I'll explain below. I included PVP in the tag but the server doesn't have a PvP emphasis, it just doesn't restrict it so not quite SMP. Most nations have laws protecting against attacks and police action to get justice.

    The central idea of the server is player-led nation building. Groups of friends get together and form their own nation, often picking a name, flag, set of laws and government. These nations interact with each other in the form of trade, war, building, etc. The most populous nation is a dense city state with unique democratic politics, or you can find many other nations which have lots of room to build and less emphasis on politics. You can explore and find what you like, and play how you want to!

    Some core plugins:

    Citadel - Allows users to reinforce blocks to be harder to break PrisonPearl - Allows you to inflict justice--or vengeance, by killing a player while holding an ender pearl on your hotbar. Use mana (earned through daily logins) to fuel the pearl, either exiling the player (they cannot start a fight, or grief, etc) or imprison them in The End (they cannot escape and are trapped until you free them) Bastion - Allows players to protect against grief by placing bastion fields that restrict block placement JukeAlert - uses Jukeboxes and Noteblocks to alert you of anybody breaking your blocks or using your doors FactoryMod - allows large scale production of many materials and high investment, but greater rewards for vanilla actions like smelting ores

    This server definitely benefits from teamwork and playing with others, so I always recommend joining a nation or coming with a group of friends to help learn the ropes. The admins are hands-off, and no hacking or cheating is allowed. There are resources on the subreddit information about the server, and most nations have their own Discord servers. There's also a Mumble server.

    [Wanted][Semi-vanilla][SMP]{Skyblock} - {EU} Preffered

    Hey there, looking for a skyblock survival server this time.

    I mostly played the old 2.1 singleplayer skyblock so been curious what fun stuff people been doin to it on multiplayer servers.

    • Prefer it being 1.12.x, had very bad lag experiences with 1.13+ servers this far, also screw phantoms
    • Not excessive on plugins and modifications. Mcmmo, jobs, custom drops from cobble generatos/mobs are ok but custom enchants and other mods heavily changing gameplay are not (looking at that one skyblock server forcing you to pvp for fishing spots to get OP loot)
    • Non-pvp based. Pvp is fine but I want to opt out of it completely
    • Doesn't bother me if it has seasonal resets
    • Reasonable rank rewards like bigger island border, bit higher profit from sales if there's economy etc
    • Please no 'buy flying' - ruins the whole idea of skyblock for me
    • I swear sometimes, therefore no nazi mods.
    • 18+/whitelist servers are fine too due to this ^
    • Allowing QoL mods like Optifine, Dynamic Surroundings, durability HUD and minimaps (really fun to see your island grow from a birds view)

    Mods I use were allowed on most regular SMP, not sure if Skyblock's different so I'm willing to compromise on mods, except Optifine.

    What Makes Us Different?

    If you read this far, great! We're glad to see you have an interest in Echoes.

    Echoes may not have the age or player numbers (avg. number of people online at any given moment ranges from 6-12 players on weekdays and 15+ on weekends) of bigger anarchy worlds like 2b2t or Minewind. However, we've got features to set us apart from other worlds.

    • Let it be noted that every unique feature listed after this is done without plugins, mods, or server wrappers. Echoes is 100% vanilla. You can verify this by pressing F3 after you login. In the upper left corner of your screen, you'll see this, which indicates that you're playing on a vanilla world.
    • Though our staff login daily, all Echoes Network servers are (primarily) maintained by a bot named Saltshaker. In-game, this bot's name is saltshakerBOT. Saltshaker has a couple of features worth noting:
    • Saltshaker has the ability to teleport players to cities. This works via a number of steps involving two commands specific to accessing each city.
    • The first command, an invitation, is whispered to Saltshaker with a player's username after it. The invitation to visit a city called Otes is "pardon." So, if your username is qazt19, you'd whisper "pardon qazt19" to Saltshaker. After this, you'll be able to use the teleport command.
    • The second command is a teleport command, usually a phrase or book quote translated into Latin. Each city's teleport command will only work if you've been invited to the city you're trying to reach. For example. you cannot use the teleport command for Otes if you haven't been invited to visit Otes. For example, if my username is qazt19, and assuming I have already invited myself to Otes by whispering "pardon qazt19" to saltshakerBOT, I could then type the teleport command for Otes into public chat. If you'd like to try this for yourself, type "o tempora o mores!" into chat. Be careful of using these teleport commands in the End or Nether, because you'll be teleported to the city's coordinates regardless of which dimension you're in.
    • There is a caveat to all of this! ANYONE who knows a city's teleport command can invite WHOEVER THEY WANT to that city. If you follow the steps listed above, you can invite any player you choose to Otes, regardless of whether or not you've even invited yourself first.
    • Ready to try it yourself? Join echoesnetwork.fun, whisper "pardon <your username here>" to saltshakerBOT, and then type "o tempora o mores!" into chat. You'll be teleported to Otes!
    • Saltshaker will also teleport you to spawn via the !spawn command. We're working on a functioning (but nerfed) !back command, equivalent to /back on some other servers.

    • Unlike most other anarchy worlds, pvp on Echoes is rare. Despite our lack of constraining rules, Echoes is a very community-centric server. For the most part, everyone you'll encounter is friendly and cooperative. Be warned, however, it's still anarchy, and there will always be people out to mess with you.
    • We also incorporate vote rewards into the server, courtesy of xMamo's vanilla votifier. In exchange for voting for the server (vote links are available on our Discord, and on the server by typing "!vote" into chat.), you receive 10XP levels and the world border will expand by 5,000 blocks. As I write this, the world border sits 577,500 blocks from the origin.

    Hi guys :)
    We are european players who are looking for more EU players to play on our world, where we can play as a tight-knitted community :)
    We definitely expect you to play actively, because else you're not really a gain for the server, and taking a spot on the server list would be pointless then.

    Besides having the difficulty on hard we use datapacks which make the game harder in the beginning and easier in the end.     Hey guys, my IGN name is MooJohnson. I have been playing minecraft since 2011, 90% of which has been spent in single player. I am looking to make friends within a community. I am 22 years old, i am into video editing/producing, adult swim, and just television in general. I am also very fluent in meme culture, if that matters. I was an athlete my whole life until I completely shattered my collarbone playing soccer in high school, I quit sports after that and dove head first into PC gaming/building. I also want to get into streaming minecraft, but my processor is not good enough for stream output. I do have a discord, and would not mind chatting with you minecraftheads if there are active channels. It would be a big plus if the server doesn't have map resets. The time I did play multiplayer, they reset the map and I lost months worth of progress, then I never played on that server again. I am not really a fan of the giant mod packs, I like the simple nature and feel of vanilla. I wouldn't mind an McMMO server either, I find that game play enhancement to be quite interesting.

    I Just made a server and I need someone with plugin skills to help me build up the server! My name is Charlie Olson (IGN: NightOwlOO). I love minecraft and decided to give in and start a minecraft server. I have been staff on many servers and wanted to make my own.     Are you tired of playing on servers where hordes of plugins govern what you can and cannot do? Are looking for a simpler experience that doesn't have a long list of rules, fancy plugins, or endless restrictions and suggestions?     The environment is completely vanilla Minecraft. You'll open yourself up to Minecraft multiplayer at its most basic when you log on. There are no kits, no server hub, no economy plugins or stores to purchase items. Relive the experience of playing with other players in an unmodified default world, where admins do not interfere with what you're doing and you're free to play however you desire.     No map resets, ever. The world, two months old so far, is a default world that will never be reset as long as the server is running. A year from now, spawn will be found on the same land as it is today, and bases built tomorrow may still exist in the distant future. You will never lose your items and will never have to worry about impending map resets.

    Lemson Server [Vanilla] {Whitelist} {1.12}

    Hello!

    About a month ago me and a friend started a 1.12 server. Currently there's just my a couple of friends and me playing on the server so not much activity. We are primarily looking for technical players, that like doing redstone and building big technical things, doesn't always have to be redstone things though so we are also looking for builders so that our things can look good! You can join the server even if you don't fit either of those categories, but those are what we are primarily are looking for. We got a survival server, and a creative one! There's also a 1.13.2 server if you'd rather join that!

    We have a area where we have built our starter things, nearby there's a cobble farm, and I am currently building a spruce wood farm. We'd like if most farms and things are public and free to use for everyone. Not all players on the server are technical players, or great builders, so you can join even if you don't do either of those!

    The only rules we got on the server is:

    1. Don't be a dick.
    2. It'd be good if you help on some of the bigger projects we'll have in the future, not a rule really but it'd be great with help!
    3. Don't grief or steal!

    General Information:

    When we created this server, our goal was to create a unique and well balanced "custom" Towny experience. With our current team having over 3 years of Towny experience we aim to give players the best possible survival experience possible. With frequent updates and actively adding new features to the server we can ensure you that this server has a lot to offer. Whilst our server is mostly based around Towny we have added a lot of game-play features that will enhance your experience, such as:

    • Jobs: Without having an admin shop on the server, your main income of money will be by using a job. Players are able to choose from 11 different and unique jobs that will give you money for executing various different things. While you level up your job, you will unlock unique perks that will help you along the way.
    • Rankup: With 25 possible in-game rankups, which you can purchase with ingame money. You will be able to unlock various different skills and perks.
    • McMMO: well known plugin that will add skill leveling inside minecraft.
    • Auctions: Sell your precious items to other people on the server inside a fancy looking GUI menu to make life easy for you.
    • Runestones: Very similar to custom enchants. Apply runestones to your armor and/or tools to gain massive buffs such as permanent night vision, speed and fire resistance. But also stuff like dealing more damage and giving your enemies magical potion effects such as darkness, slowness and even wither effects!
    • Custom GUI menu's
    • Crates
    • Lockable chests
    • Custom items
    • Epic particle & sound effects
    • And much much more

    Pinnacle Survival is a fresh, brand new survival server constructed by mature members of staff whom want to offer the best experience on a survival server. We aim to have one of the most highly rated survival servers that are currently open to the general player base.

    Unlike most survival servers we aim to please you, whether that be premium plugins you feel the server can benefit from or just minor tweaks to the way the server is ran.

    We understand that some survival servers can become rather tedious and repetitive which is why we're offering unique ways of playing a survival server.     Rules
    These are the rules and guidelines for playing on our server. If you do not follow there rules, there will be consequences.

    • Griefing or Theft: Griefing is not allowed at all, destroying other people's property regardless of if it is claimed is a no go. Theft is also a no go, UNLESS the chest are unprotected.
    • No Hacks/Mods/X-Ray-Flight: Getting caught using any unfair advantage will result in a temporary or permanent ban.
    • No Spam/Advertising/Caps/Offensive Chat: Doing any of this will result in a mute.
    • No Scamming: No reason to rip people off, just place nice and get along.
    • No offensive Builds/Symbols/Pixelart: Any offensive builds found will be removed immediately and the player will receive a temporary or permanent ban.
    • No killing others outside of /Warp PvP: Although PVP is turned off throughout the world, there is to be no traps set at warps or no dumping lava on players outside the warp.
    • -No AFK Fish Farms: This is extremely forbidden due to the income it brings through jobs, getting caught using an AFK fish farm will result in a eco reset along with temporary ban.
