Nebelloren is the 4th world in its series and our server has been around for over 8 years. This week we had an update bringing changes and additions to a few of our races, with the biggest to the elven Caeli who gained shiny new abilities in Proficient Nightwalker and Blinding Beauty. In the wake of undead hordes bringing about destruction and chaos, two factions flee their homeland. The World A huge custom-made map, populated with over 100 wildlife mobs unique to our server, gorgeous biomes, and dotted with strange ruins and interesting vistas! Our Storytellers and Community Moderators provide support for personalized crafting and plot. With a plethora of mechanical combat abilities, profession based classes and opportunities for unique and custom skills, both mechanical and story based interactions are beyond the vanilla experience. Many of us so far take our inspiration from the Hermitcraft server and hope to build a community like theirs. We have started a centralized shopping district but there is nothing stopping anyone from setting up their own private markets as well. There are also still plenty of items that are not being sold, as well as some dead shops leaving gaps in the market. We have players who are very new to the game as well as others who have built as many Redstone contraptions as you can imagine. Although the title says Semi-vanilla, in truth, it is mostly vanilla. The following are the only data packs that are included in the server so far. INCLUDED DATAPACKS All recipes are unlocked from the beginning of the game. Players who are AFK will have their names greyed out in the player list. Only 1 player must sleep to pass the night, as the server grows we may change this to require half the server or a set number to sleep. Coordinates HUD, this pulls up a small HUD that displays your coordinates so you don't have to have so much text covering your screen to see where you are. Anti Enderman Griefing, enderman cannot pick up blocks. This is primarily so they don't break large redstone contraptions. All shulkers will drop 2 shulker shells. The Ender Dragon will drop an egg and elytra each time it is killed. Silent mobs, adds the ability to silence mobs with name tags. Name a name tag "Silence me", "silence me", or "silence_me" and attach it to a mob to silence that mob. Player head drops, when one player kills another it will drop that player's head and the item will display who killed them. Elytra can be combined with a chest plate. Leaves decay quickly. We do also accept suggestions for new small tweaks to improve the game for all and will hold polls to decide whether or not to change rules/data packs. We want the feel of the server to stay vanilla though so we will NOT be adding anything game-changing. We suffer the same experiences as other servers out there with people coming and going but are trying to establish a very active player base. We currently have about 20 active players (Active as in they play every week not every day), not everyone is on all the time but we want to start holding more community events. We have players from the US, Finland, Korea, Germany, and more. The goal of the server is just to have a place where you can make new friends and have fun playing some Minecraft together. You can go off and do mostly your own thing, or you can help build a large shopping district or mini-games for others to enjoy. I've been wanting to join a SMP server with the proximity mod on it, but none felt quite right, so I've decided to make my own! I really want to include everyone, but I do have to put some limitations because of timezones, ages and whatnot. (I can make a few exceptions if necessary). I'm 16M and from the US. So any timezones near or in the US should work fine! All genders are welcome and I'm looking for decently mature people (15+). Also, try to be able to connect to the proximity plugin most of the time. I want to make this server community driven, so all of the power will be in your hands. | Real Endgame City [SMP] {1.16.5} {McMMO} {City/Urban area} {Leveling Mobs, bosses, and custom drops} Posted: 25 Apr 2021 07:37 AM PDT As its name states, this server has 2 different things you can get yourself into. First of all, its a whitelist SMP, with a generally small (trying to grow) community. The SMP is based around the spawn city of Senioritia. Instead of having spread out bases with infinite land, we prefer to build a dense city, with many different architectural styles incorporated in it. You can build anywhere that isn't already being built. The city focuses on real life architectural styles, and you can find Colonial/Georgian, Greek Revivalist American mansions, Romanesque Revival buildings, Brutalist, Post-Modern, and present day architecture in the city. The city is comprised of districts with their own unique styles and vibe, contribute to the city's architecture, create your own district, and leave your mark on a city built with many hands! Our goal is to create a real large urban area in survival Minecraft, incorporating stores, government departments and service buildings, and residential areas. The city also boasts lots of public spaces, including squares, parks, and a large community built WIP swamp bayou, on which many plan to put Louisiana style mansions along. To add atmosphere, the world decays over time, untended land has trees regrow and tall grass flood the area. Underground caves decay and grow vines over time. The city incorporates named roads, and addresses, along with basic building regulations and laws that anyone can suggest! There are specific departments to the maintenance of parks, etc, and we try to create a realistic and functional of a survival city as we can!Emeralds are money, which promotes the creation of autofarm towers which add to the urbanization of the city. But just building always gets boring doesn't it? That's where the Endgame part of the name comes into handy. In this server, mobs level up in power the farther you go from spawn. At around 7k~ blocks from spawn, the first tier of Endgame mobs begin to spawn. Endgame mobs drop impossible enchants like Sharpness 7, 8, 9, and even higher! The endgame uses a tier based drop table (lvl 70-84 drops sharpness 7, lvl 85-94 drops sharpness 8...etc) These mobs will put minecraft to the test requiring you to build specific mob killing outposts, walls, trenches, and everything you've seen in the minecraft guides but never actually used because vanilla mobs are so useless. These mobs have server-custom low drop chances, and add a whole new grind to the game if you choose to obtain the super enchants. And there are guns. All the weapons are balanced specific to the server. The server follows an RPG progression, so the more time you spend the more infinitely powerful you can become. We also have Golden Enchants for custom enchants. There is a decent amount of server politics, with a runthrough being the server has been controlled by the capitalist MegaCorp regime, but recently, the power dynamic is being shifted to the new AquaCorp. NOTE: this server wasnt completely designed to be used on a large scale, and is more designed for a small community, which is why there are so many "random" features because I like to add them as I see them. The server plugins can be rough around the edges and think of this as more of a group SMP rather than a big nice professional server. The server has been running for around 6 months now and I want to keep it up for as long as possible to create an old and large urban area over time with history. HM02 is a vanilla SMP server, founded by two experienced admins, in which the sole purpose of the server is to grow the community & enjoy our limited game time. As adults, we know you might not have the most time to enjoy your games like you used to, and that brings me to our promise to you: Your builds will remain safe, intact, and untouched while you're away- but ready to be built upon as soon as you're back. The admins' vision for the server is a simple one: a close knit community that can get together for events, build independently, and stay active despite the craziness that life throws at us.
