Arboria mushrooms: A way to get wood underground

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 08:16 AM PDT

Arboria mushrooms would be blue giant mushrooms, which would have woody stalks 2-4 blocks tall topped with caps which would be 3x3 horizontal squares. They would generate in caves occasionally. The mushroom stalks/logs could be harvested (which would yield the block) and could be crafted into planks, which would be a pure white color. They could be used just like any other plank. The blue arboria cap blocks would give off a dim light and could be harvested to yield arboria mushrooms, which could be crafted into sticks (at the rate of 1 stick per mushroom), cooked into food, or planted, although, of course, they would only grow in darkness.

I was thinking that, possibly, to reinforce the fact that these are cave mushrooms for cave living and growing, they could burst into flame if hit by direct sunlight, along with products made from them.

A new form of maps for the places down under (NOT Australia): Cave Maps

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 10:52 AM PDT

Cave Maps are an idea I have quite literally just came up with and I think would be a great addition to the game. The crafting recipe would be Stone surrounding either an Empty Map or Empty Locator Map, creating either a Cave Map or Beacon Cave Map. Cave Maps of any sort go under the surface either 10/20/30/40 blocks depending on the level the Map was made to go to. Yes, the levels decreases the y-level of the map opposed to expanding it. The Beacon Map, when used, should either be used at your mine base or at the start of the cave, because the Beacon Map creates a glowing dot (or a Nether Portal if you're in the Nether) on the map where you created it, allowing you to exit the cave (or dimension) with ease. This also works in the Nether. A downside of this map, however, is that it will always change underground structures (or Nether Fortresses) on the map to the surrounding colors of it, say Nether Fortresses will look like Netherrack on the map, and Strongholds/Dungeons will look like Stone. And as a small reminder, the downvote button is not a disagree button. Criticism welcome.

    Crossbows are weird

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 06:03 AM PDT

They are worse than bows in almost every way. Their durability is lower despite having iron in the recipe, barely noticeable increased base damage compensated by slower drawing speed, power 5 bow is still more powerful than quick charge 3 crossbow, multishot enchantment have excessive spread. Some may say that you can have up to 10 precharged crossbows and fire them very quick, but I think this should be fixed by very short cooldown when you select crossbow like sword or other weapon to encourage single crossbow use. Also arrow velocity should be increased to deal additional damage on longer distance. Also I want to suggest some ideas for crossbow enchantments. 1. Multishot should have lower spread and second level, which will be used to shoot at longer distance. 2. New enchantment to increase arrow velocity even further. May be incompatible with quick charge. Feel free to express your thoughts on this.

    The slingshot

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 07:35 AM PDT

I feel that pvp in minecraft can get a bit dull at times, and I wanted to share my idea of a weapon that could change the way pvp works, the slingshot and the Ender-lobber and the specific enchantments and abilities the weapons can have.

    Slingshot

The slingshot would be a ranged weapon that would be crafted with 2 wood planks on either side, a stick in the bottom and one string in the middle. It has a natural durability of 74 uses due to it being easy to craft. Just like a bow it will choose the ammunition that is closest to the weapon. It would be able to shoot many different kinds of ammunition each dealing damage and having different effects.

    Stone = 2 hearts

Eggs = .5 damage but has a chance to spawn a baby chicken

Slimeball = 1 hearts and will give players hit slowness 2 for 7 seconds

Flint = 1 heart, but travels much faster

Written books = .5 hearts, but you are able to send written notes to other players for roleplay

Ink saks = 1.5 hearts, blinds the player for 3 seconds when hit

Bricks = 3 hearts, can break glass

Nether brick = 3 hearts and will set whoever is hit on fire

    Iron ingot = 4 hearts

Fire charge = 3.5 hearts, will create a 2 by 2 explosion wherever it lands

Flowers = .5 hearts but will place the flower wherever it lands (unless it is on a surface which it can't)

Potions = The slingshot can lob potions from farther distance, making it a useful tool to attack with but also to heal with

Ender Pearls = will be able to launch ender pearls even farther than normal

Coarse fruit = no damage, but whatever is hit by the fruit will be teleported away

Popped Coarse fruit = you will trade places with the mob you shot, deals 0 damage

    Ender-lobber

The Ender-lobber is a purple slingshot with instead of a string has a purple fire effect. It is found throughout ender cities in certain chest and can be fixed with popped coarse fruit, and it has a natural durability of 222 . It can shoot all of the ammunitions listed above but has special properties. The ender lobber will deal 2.5 x more damage and creates a particle trail wherever it goes that stays up for 5 seconds, as well as the fact that all items (except for ender pearls) will not be affected by gravity allowing it to shoot much farther.

    Enchantments

    Unbreaking

    Mending

Violet striker I = Only for ender lobber, the purple fire trail the weapons produces will deal damage to whatever walks into it (half a heart a second),

Orbital shot I-II = Only for normal slingshot, this enchantment allows the slingshot to fire the blocks at a farther distance, as it starts off at 27 blocks, than 54 , than 81.

Triple shot = Like the multishot enchantment this will allow the slingshot and ender-shot to shoot 3 different ammunitions pieces. Unlike the multishot enchantment it will require the slingshot the individually charge up all 3 ammo pieces, but will fire in a straight line like a burst.

These were my ideas for a new weapon in minecraft that i feel could really change the meta of the range game, thank you for reading through my post :D

A rare Enchant for the pickaxe that stops blocks from falling into lava

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 02:53 AM PDT

An Enchant for pickaxes called like idk... Vaccum that instantly sent mined blocks to your inventory. That could be extended to swords too with the same idea, that all the loot goes straight into your inventory. I've had problems with missing loot while farming tridents because I wasn't sure if I picked the loot up. The pickaxe variant would stop say diamonds from falling into lava or just beyond your reach. Iny opinion this enchant could be useful in many cases.

New Armour Curse - The Curse of Overheat

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 10:42 AM PDT

The Overheat is curse which is default applied to every armour spawned in Nether chests or dropped by Nether mobs.

The Overheat doesn't work in Nether but works in other dimensions.

    What the Overheat function is?

After every 20 minutes (1 Minecraft day) your Overheat cursed armours will be more and more red (not totally red).

After 20 minutes the armours will start to lost 1 durablity point per 1 second.

    These days armours durablity:

    Material Helmet Chestplate Leggins Boots
    Leather 56 81 76 66
    Golden 78 113 106 92
    Chainmail/Iron 166 241 226 196
    Diamond 364 529 496 430
    Turtle Shell 276 N/A N/A N/A

If you want to stop armours to Overheat, you have to drink water/milk/any potion, enter water or go to Nether.

After use the first two, your Overheat timer will reset and start to time another 20 minutes and then Overheat cursed armours will lost durablity again.

After use the third option, go to Nether, your Overheat timer will reset and stop until you leave Nether.

In Nether there is already hot so Overheat curse doesn't have to keep hot temperature.

    Have a nice day!

    "Corpses"

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 08:36 AM PDT

Now, today in Minecraft if you go into a structure, let's say underwater ruins, and you see a bunch of drowned, you usually know what you're dealing with. This addition would add a bit of a surprise element.

(Keep in mind that none of the following will effect normal mob spawns)

With this new addition, corpses now have a chance to spawn in your world, and there's a 50% chance that the corpse will be an undead mob in hiding. If you approach within 2 blocks of a mob acting as a corpse it will spring up and attack you. Hitting a mob that was acting as a corpse wakes up any other mob corpses in the area, so there is the possibility of being swarmed.

Corpses have a 5% chance to spawn randomly in caves and a 70% chance of spawning in mineshafts, though they will only be zombies and skeletons. Corpses will always spawn in spawner rooms and have a 100% chance of being a mob, but it can only be the corpse that the spawner corresponds with (for example, in a skeleton dungeon, there will be one or two skeleton corpses only). The dungeon holding the end portal will also spawn corpses.

Keep in mind, this applies to other undead mobs too. There is a 5% chance to find random skeleton or husk corpses strewn throughout the desert. Husk corpses will always spawn near desert wells and within desert temples.

Drowned corpses will always spawn in underwater ruins and near ocean monuments. They also have a 40% chance to spawn on crashed ships.

There is a 5% chance of finding stray corpses in the tundra, though to add a new bit of surprise, in Bedrock they could spawn under the snow layers.

Within the nether, withered skeleton corpses have a 60% chance to spawn in nether fortresses, however they have a way higher, 70% chance of actually being a mob. There is also a 1% chance to find wither skeleton corpses that are washed up on lava ocean shores.

Corpses that are not mobs can be mined and drop various items. Looting on any tool increases the drop chance.

    Drops

(On mobile so sorry if the layout is kinda weird)

Zombie/Husk/Drowned corpses Rotten Flesh: 85% Bones: 50% Iron Nuggets: 40% Iron Ingots: 35% A random piece of iron equipment: 20% Cactus (Husk only): 20% A random fish(Drowned only): 15% Diamond: 2.5% Zombie Head: 1%

Skeleton/Stray/Wither Skeleton Bones: 85% Arrows(Skeleton and Stray only): 50% Gold nuggets: 40% Gold ingots: 35% A random piece of gold equipment: 20% Slowness arrows (stray only): 15% Stone sword (WS only): 10% Diamond: 2.5% Skeleton skull (strays and skeletons only): 1% Withered Skeleton Skull (WS only)

a mob I would like to see in Minecraft

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 10:26 AM PDT

Minecraft is a great game, really unironically great. whenever you think about your Minecraft adventures you are filled with happiness. the only problem in Minecraft is that there is no Emus! how will I be a great farmer without fighting Emus who trying to smash my farm fences and eat all of my corps?

seriously, I think Emus can add a lot to the games, you will need to protect your farm better because Emus can break your fences and love eating corps. Emus could be great for a farm update. maybe we will can to use Crossbow to fight the Emus and make some bird traps or big scarecrows. Emus will also be able to fight if you attack them first. When Emu eat a corp it will not drop anything and you will lose the seed you used and the crop itself. there will also be Emu Nests that the Emus live at and lay bluish green eggs. Emu is a very curious bird so it will come to you when you are shifting and jumping a lot and can run very fast

I really think mobs like that that can distrub you by eating your corps or eating ores or maybe steal blocks like enderman does can add a lot more challanges to the game. Emus can be great animal to have in minecraft and I would like to see big animals in minecraft so Emu is a great fit. what do you think?

and maybe you will can even ride them even if its not possible irl. if you will ride a emu in minecraft it will be much faster then horse but tend to be more scared and will run from caves and mobs even if you try make him go closer to them and he will also be curios some time while seeing a berry bush and instead of following orders will take you to the berry bush

    The Nether Well

    Posted: 29 Jun 2019 06:07 PM PDT

Within the Nether Fortress, there is a small well with a single source block of lava surrounded by Nether bricks. As a kid, I always thought it was a Magma Cube spawner, not just a well that provides lava. Later on, I found that no Magma Cubes spawned here and that it's just for lava, you know because there isn't enough lava around. I thought that maybe there could be a Magma Cube spawner concealed a few blocks below the well, providing more purpose for this room. This would also be more convenient for everyone, as magma cream is a luxury that is hard to come by.

    Cave idea, Jewelstones

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 10:50 AM PDT

Jewelstones are decoration blocks that act as crystal cave formations. There are 3 types of jewelstone; fire, sky, and forest. They have these names based off their color. Mining Jewelstones gives you 1-3 jewels based on which type you mined. They can be recrafted into the block form using 4 of the jewel of choice and 5 blocks of glass.

    https://imgur.com/a/XvFUCB7

There are 3 different shapes these can take when found in the cave. Any color can take any of the 3 shapes detailed in the picture below.

    https://i.imgur.com/QfT0dRB.jpg

Another possible use for this is that each color shard could be upgraded with some other items, perhaps either diamonds or emeralds, and then used to upgrade one of three groups of items; tools, armor, and weapons. For example, upgraded fire jewels could be used to increase the range of crossbows and bows along with shortening the cooldown speed for the sweeping attack on the sword. Another example is using upgraded sky jewels on armor could make it so that wearing the armor gives you extra hearts. Or perhaps upgraded forest jewels could increase the speed tools could mine blocks.

    Nether Fortress Variations

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 06:13 AM PDT

The bunker/arena is a miniature version of the Nether Fortress like the example above. Chests spawn on platforms around the main part, the pathways, along with spawners. Spawners also appear on the pathways.

    https://i.imgur.com/lwAHNAs.jpg

The Tower version of the nether fortress would be a vertical focused incarnation of the nether fortress where the fortress are made up of several of these towers with 5-8 more floors and many pathways intersecting. These contain more chests with better items like potions, golden apples, food, and weapons. This version of the Nether Fortress would have spawners for both Blazes and also Wither Skeletons.

Stop Regular Zombies from Spawning in the Desert

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 03:12 PM PDT

Zombies spawn much more than husks in deserts, and it kinda ruins the point of them. I think that only husks should spawn in deserts. Husks would convert villagers into Husk Villagers when they kill them instead of converting them into zombie villagers.

    Add chain horse armor

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 04:02 PM PDT

It would be cool if chain horse armor could be found in chests with the same probably as diamond and in the protection aspect it should provide protection in between gold and diamond (if you did not know gold is better than iron) so chain horse armor should have 9 armor points. I got the idea because leather horse armor was added and not it's chain horse armors turn to be added.

    "Reach" Enchantment

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 03:41 PM PDT

I don't know if the name makes it obvious or not, but this enchantment would allow you to act on blocks and entities from higher distances. Like on a pickaxe, it would increase your mining range from five to six, or even more for higher levels. On a sword, it would make it so you could attack mobs from one block further away. It would go up to level III, at which point it would increase your range by 2.5 blocks. Thoughts?

    Realm conversion for console edition

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 11:13 AM PDT

I propose a selection in the world menus of worlds on consoles that allows you to switch a world to a realm. I could say "convert world to realm" and vice versa if it's already a realm. This would definitely help large projects so that the owner of the world doesn't have to be on for it to be worked on. It could then be converted back to post on the minecraft store. I know that this feature would bring a lot of functionality to the game.

New Villager Profession - The Banker

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 05:15 AM PDT

\DISCLAIMER: I know that this has been already a post in* here *but I thought of this alone without knowing it was already there but I refuse to delete this considering the post in the original one didn't have lots of views and upvotes and didn't have the appropriate amount of information so I'll make my own repost in here with all the facts that I've just said included.\

We're appointing a new wealthy money-maker into our 1.14 villages and it's differently not those who beg for your life-savings for unfair crap.

So, you guessed it - It's The Banker!

This handsome little guy can convert your diamonds, gold, iron and other forms of Minecraft currencies to those sweet emeralds. I can't do too much mathematics because I suck at it but I'll just guesstimate the total of emeralds given in return of those alternative currencies in a list below:

    • Each Nether Star = 100 emeralds
    • Each Diamond = 50 emeralds
    • Each Lapis Lazuli = 30 emeralds
    • Each Iron Ingot = 25 emeralds
    • Each Iron Nugget = 12 emeralds + 1 emerald nugget (NEW)
    • Each Golden Ingot = 10 emeralds
    • Each Golden Nugget = 5 emeralds

I see a lot of fairness in these offers, if you don't tell me and specify why. The offers are unlimited meaning they never get sold out for obvious reasons. The emerald is a whole number of villager money while the emerald nugget is half a whole one. It may sound very OP but I mean, if you have a currency, you gotta have a financial bank/er for it.

Every Villager (Profession) requires 3 things and they are: the home/workspace of the villager, a skin/appearance for the villager for all biomes and a profession block so therefore, here are they below in a list:

    1. The Workspace

I don't like really building anything for only concepts so I'll just explain it. For the exterior, it should be having two pillars at the front of the building. Kind of like how iconic banks look like. Having a wide entrance may be good and adding some buttons next to it to make it open and stuff. So it should basically look like a cube with windows and at the front 2 pillars and a broad doorway. For the interior, it should have stairs with signs at the sides against the walls acting as waiting chairs and a desk using upper polished andesite slab.

    1. The Appearance/Skin

These guys need to have their own look so therefore I thought they should have a cap as a hat and wearing a plain lime green shirt symbolizing the color of the main currency, the emerald.

    1. The Profession Block

I don't have an idea about the block used because if for example they use an emerald block, players can abuse this block to get free emeralds so I guess they should add an ATM or something, idk.. :/ (tell me if you know)
