As a person who has tried Minecraft on youtube many, many times, I realise that what i need is a good smp server to record on. One with a small, tight knit community. Something similar to Hermitcraft is what im looking for, essentially. I'll be recording on said server once or twice a week, unless stated otherwise. Unfortunately, I don't have the best recording equipment, so I may be a while before im ready to record. The videos will be commentated, and if you wish, I can put the IP in the description. This wont be much advertising as i have like 10 subscribers though. If you have any servers in mind, please post them! I will look through as many as possible! Fulda MC is a modded server dedicated to nation states conducting diplomacy, espionage, and potentially war. Our current theme is set in the modern day in the Cold War, named the "Vietnam pack". Our world is the Earth. We have over 230 people in our discord channel, and currently, have about 30 different nation states. The community likes to revolve around role-playing and politics. As a modded server, Fulda will occasionally change to a different modpack, provided by server founder Mocpages. Each modpack chooses a technological era that the server's occupants believe would be fun to play and is compatible with nation role plays. And now, a story from our past: It was the height of the Cold War between the communist USR and the Xionate Principality. The recent high-profile aquittal of the Xionite leader had left the USR embittered and angry with the United Nations, leading to their secession. Tensions were at the breaking point, with USR jets poised to attack the Xionite capital on ten minute's notice and discontent rumbling in the outer provinces of the Comintern. One misstep, one false move, and the entire house of cards would come crumbling down as the Red Army prepared to overrun the Danzig Free City and the entirety of the South. The UN set about an aggressive foreign policy, bent on subordinating the Comintern by manipulating international law, bringing the world steadily closer to the brink of war. | Looking for fellow players for new experiences <3 [SMP] [Modded] {Greylist} Posted: 27 Jun 2019 09:09 AM PDT Hey So I've been playing modded Minecraft throughout 2015-2017 with my older brother, we had our Skyblock PvP pack in which we had 2 separate islands, we had fun mods like Quiver Bow etc. and even our custom quests in HQM ! Or earlier we played Coop survival on different modded packs for ex. in 2016 with Planetoids ! or 2015 - Matikretpack(My brother's nickname was matikret) It bring back so many memories, it was soo truly amazing! But it sadly ended :C He has a girlfriend, he doesn't play games anymore.. but we refreshed our Planetoid pack in 2018 and played for couple of days during early September and from then I don't play with him anymore ;( Now i mostly play Fortnite with my Best Friend..(The game is really annoying at times) but from time to time we do get back to Minecraft on our custom servers(We had an amazing server with both my BFF and my older brother, running through Late 2016 to Middle 2018, we had about 3 restarts, new worlds etc. but that's another story) or even my own modded pack called "Lemon Pack(2)" It's not the same tho.. On this map, everyone is on a singular island and have to work together to farm various items. We did not start with lava, nor water. We had to collect water in a cauldron. Our only source of iron right now is from zombie drops. We have just recently gotten a villager breeder up and running. I have plans myself to make a drowned farm, iron farm ect. We are currently waiting to update to 1.14.3. We will update as soon as QuickCarpet gets an update. RulesEverything is shared. No PVP unless both parties agree (and don't hold anything valuable in case you get knocked off the edge) Builds must be planned out beforehand. | Posted: 26 Jun 2019 10:23 PM PDT Bonus if the server includes a fair player tracking system for raids like the old Mc.pvp server. Anarchy servers are fun, but I feel like the majority of the time a base is found, it's because someone decided to X-ray. With mcpvp they had a tracking system where with a lot of time and effort, you could find the locations of players. Mcpvp also had a basic economy system where you could sell items by typing something like /sell 5 diamond 100 each. And eventually someone would need diamonds on the go and /buy 5 diamonds or whatever, that's nice too, but not as important to me. I think it would be nice to at least play on a "no plot or land claim semi vanilla server with just one single /sethome. I've found many servers that are similar, but they usually have a plot system, and rules of no griefing. I dont want to play safe like that, I like all the risks. Griefing, stealing and playing dirty (aside from hacking) brings so much fun into the game. It starts rivalries and objectives for revenge. [link] [comments]  |

| Aegis SMP [Vanilla] [PVE] {21+} {Whitelist} {1.14.3} Posted: 26 Jun 2019 06:23 PM PDT Aegis SMP, Survival Minecraft for Adult HumansAegis SMP is a relatively new vanilla server, about 2 months old. We're more of a full gaming community, as we play other types of Minecraft, other games, etc, but for the most part we get together to do cool things together in Minecraft. 1.14.0 through 1.14.2 led to a serious lull in activity while Mojang figured their stuff out over there, and now we're ready to kick things back into high gear. What do we do?For the most part, the world is your proverbial oyster. We have highly technical players building world eaters and highly creative players doing detailed beautiful builds and everywhere in between. You're free to play how you want! We all make a conscious effort to keep lag down on the server, and we do use the Carpet mod to track that and try to keep the server running at 20 tps consistently. Other than controlling your lag levels, have at ye! We currently have a dedicated server that costs about 75 dollars a month. I pay for the majority of that, but people chip in 5 or 10 bucks a month here or there and help me to pay for it. It's a nice server, keeps us at 100% uptime, and we are able to run a creative copy of the world and sometimes a UHC, skyblock, or an adventure map on it as well. We've got a lot of flexibility in what we're able to do. What are we looking for?We're looking for people who are willing to treat a Minecraft server as a community project. You don't have to collaborate, you don't have to contribute to community builds, but if you're going to log on and essentially play single player for a few months, you probably won't get much out of playing with us. We are also an Adult server, preferring 21+ players. We have a few younger players who have been with us since before we made that rule, but for the most part we're looking for people our age to play with. Nothing against the young guns. You do you. Datapacks? Mods?We have a few small changes to survival gameplay. Notably, the dragon drops elytra and shulkers respawn in end cities. The reasoning for this is, there's a very high demand for shulker shells by technical players, and generating new chunks in the end 30k+ blocks away from the outer island portals causes a bunch of lag and is a huge waste of time. We aim to be mostly vanilla, but sensible adjustments like these are on our radar to make the gameplay experience smooth and enjoyable. We also have single player sleep, anti-enderman griefing, customizable armor stands (like Hermitcraft) and more mob heads (fun to college!) You may either be a founder of your own city, and work your way into a strong kingdom, or you may join an existing kingdom, and use your talents and skills to make it that much stronger. Religion and faith are another important feature of this server. As of May 18th, the religion plugin in the works has one fully complete mechanic. Wars are required to have a Casus Belli (Justification) before they can be waged. This allows people to fight purposeful wars to expand their domain, finalize and settle scores, increase their status, act upon the desire for revenge, etc., but also not start wars on a whim. Rules: They can be viewed here! Specifics: Saddles are craft-able both to compensate for the lack of dungeons, and to add something that shouldn't have been removed. The specific crafting recipe is from the 1.6 snapshot. The server is completely EULA-compliant - AKA No Pay-to-Win at all - Donating does not give players an unfair advantage.
