Posted: 19 Aug 2019 01:59 AM PDT Another suggestion: There should be a mob that inflicts "Lightweighted" debuff that makes you less resistant to knockback. "Knockback Resistance" formula: previous level's resistance + ((100 - previous level's resistance) : 2) Example: Level 1: 0 + ((100 - 0) : 2) = 50% resistance Level 2: 50 + ((100 - 50) : 2) = 75% resistance Level 3: 75 + ((100 - 75) : 2) = 87.5% resistance Etc. Special Spawn Animations for Mobs Posted: 19 Aug 2019 11:27 AM PDT Right now, mobs just kind of blip into existence. I know Minecraft isn't exactly a realistic game, but I think it'd be a lot cooler if they had some sort of "startup" animation when they spawn. Just as a small aesthetic change, let me know what you think. Zombie - Rises out of the ground with Dirt particles. Skeleton - Similar to the zombie. Spider - Drops from a string. Creeper - Starts laying down, and fades in while getting up, as if it was camouflaged with the ground. Witch - Appears in a burst of magic. Enderman - Teleports from across the world, like when it leaves the world during the day but in reverse. Blaze - The rods float up and catch fire. Ghast - Fades into midair. Zombie Pigman - Same as Zombies, but with little lava particles, maybe. Wither Skeleton - Same as the Skeleton. Wither - The soul sand shrinks into rods, which then form up the body while the heads' eyes light up. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Aug 2019 10:34 AM PDT For starters, I know I just created a batman mask and that wasn't my intent, I'm just trying to use things already in the game, albeit I know bat wings are not. But it just made sense, you can collect them and once you have enough you can craft them as a head piece. I know cats are supposed to scare off phantoms but I don't want to create a reason for people to go slaughter village cats. [link] [comments] |
Decoration options for iron golems Posted: 19 Aug 2019 02:08 PM PDT Right-clicking on an iron golem with shears shaves off its vines for a cleaner look and drops vines. Right-clicking on a bare iron golem with a flower decorates it with the flower. Depending on the flower of choice, a golem will either receive the suspicious stew effect of the item if it's positive or inflict it onto enemies if it's negative. This action also "tames" the golems, meaning a naturally spawned golem will not attack back if decorated. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Aug 2019 02:30 AM PDT Musician Villager: Sell Music Disc New Music Discs: More musics and discs, song discs... New Mob sounds: New zombi orrrgggghhh The sound of snoring while sleeping and more... [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Aug 2019 12:57 PM PDT Crafted out of scutes into all normal armor crafting recipe. When all worn gives you the turtle bonus of slow moving and no knock back. Also let's you swim faster. All has the same armor points as iron armor. Maybe even an effect if you crouch for about 5 seconds then you'll hide inside you turtle shell that reduces nearly all damage but you're unable to move. This is just a random idea and I honestly just want more armor additions to the game. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Aug 2019 08:39 AM PDT When you pause the game, it could show the title of the track currently playing in game i.e.: Aria Math or Blind Spots. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 19 Aug 2019 02:33 PM PDT I believe that the desert could use some more mobs. Maybe a coyote could be one of those mobs. It could just be a wolf, but recolored. It wouldn't be tamable and would be stronger, faster, and have slightly more health than a wolf. [link] [comments] |
Sunken villages in swamp biomes Posted: 19 Aug 2019 07:41 AM PDT For a structure idea, I think that swamps could have themed villager houses that sort of sank in the mud, and you would have to dig the house up and loot if something could be inside. Some of the houses would still be standing, with a chance of a swamp villager to live inside. Maybe some of them can have zombies/drowns, or maybe a new kind of swamp themed mob living inside the sunken houses. I think that this would be cool just because swamps and swamp villagers have no real use other than finding slimes and witches hut. [link] [comments] |
Curing Zombie Pigmen - The Pigman Posted: 19 Aug 2019 02:43 PM PDT I'm proposing a way to cure zombie pigmen into, well, just pigmen. The way you'd do this is by first applying splash potions of fire resistance and weakness to it, then feeding it an enchanted golden apple. Once it is cured, you can give them golden carrots to "recruit" ( tame ) them. Once they're recruited, they'll follow you like a pet would and teleport as well, and you can command them to stay. They'll attack any mobs that are nearby, and not just ones that have attacked you. They can be given different swords to use in combat. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Aug 2019 12:43 PM PDT Make the grass grow gradually like when you apply bone meal to eat but make it be slower. [link] [comments] |
Golems for more types of ores, each with their own abilities, that can be utilized for raids Posted: 18 Aug 2019 10:51 PM PDT Coal Golem - 2 blocks of coal and a pumpkin stacked like a Snow Golem. It is weak but can be lit with Flint and steel, causing it to emit a bright light source which mobs will actively avoid. Emerald Golem - 4 blocks of emerald and a pumpkin stacked like a pole. It has half the health of an iron golem, but it will provide healing and buffs like resistance and saturation to villagers and other golems, but it is stationery and cannot seek out villagers or golems to help, only doing so to ones that are nearby, though it is thin enough to ride in minecarts. Gold Golem - 3 blocks of gold stacked like an iron golem but with a pumpkin replacing the middle block. It has 1/4 of an iron golems health, but will carry villagers who are in danger into a house or anywhere safe from mobs, and will attack mobs for 1 1/2 hearts. If it senses that there are more villagers than there are beds, it will construct a generic village house, with any provided materials. ( 21 cobble, 20 logs, 15 wooden planks, and a bed ) Diamond Golem - 6 blocks of diamond stacked 3 on top of 3 with a pumpkin on the top middle. It has double the health of an iron golem, and will pick up mobs and throw them away from the village. Lapis Golem: 9 x 9 cube of lapis blocks with a pumpkin on the top middle. If a villager or golem dies within it's radius ( 100 Blocks ) it can revive said golem/villager, though it can only do this every 5 minutes. If something dies while it is on cool down, it can save that mob once it's cool down is over. It cannot revive mobs who died before it was created. Redstone Golem: One Redstone block, with a dispenser on top, with pumpkin on top of the dispenser. When provided with arrows or fire charges, it will shoot hostile mobs, as long as it is provided a Redstone block. One Redstone block will allow it to shoot 3 stacks of arrows, or other projectiles. Edit: changed and edited functions of some golems with help from feedback. Thanks guys! Edit 2: Added lapis and Redstone golems. [link] [comments] |
Mobs should have more personality and different traits and expressiond like pandas Posted: 19 Aug 2019 05:47 AM PDT |
Posted: 19 Aug 2019 05:29 AM PDT It would be cool you could make a bed for your dog and at nighttime if your in your house they can got to sleep on it but if you want to go out at night you have an option to wake them up [link] [comments] |
Adding a "forgotten castles" structure Posted: 19 Aug 2019 12:09 PM PDT The structure would be like a nether fortress, but a bit smaller (and making it look more like a fortress.) It would have some loot a blacksmith chest would have, and around the castle would be mod spawners (spiders, zombies, skeletons, etc.) It could also have the potential to hold new items, blocks, and mobs. Posted: 19 Aug 2019 11:02 AM PDT I feel like cocoa beans in Minecraft have too little uses in food making. Instead of just using cocoa beans for cookies, you should be able to grind the beans into cocoa powder. Then take the powder and mix it with milk, and take this mixture, combine it with sugar and you get chocolate bars. You can either eat the bar, which gives you 3 Hunger bars and 1 saturation, or you can give it to baby villagers (right click) and this grows the baby villager up and you gain good deed with the village(discounts in trade). Dispensers should be able to shoot Ender Pearls and Eyes of Ender. Posted: 19 Aug 2019 11:31 AM PDT When Dispensers fire an Ender Pearl, it will teleport whatever is standing on top of the Dispenser. Useful for auto-teleportation shenanigans. When Dispensers fire an Eye of Ender, it points towards the nearest Stronghold. This one is just for fun/consistency. [link] [comments] |
Change the player damage noise Back to the classic one but add a pitch slider Posted: 19 Aug 2019 01:43 PM PDT By adding the pitch slider you can have the ability to sound more female or male based on the pitch while keeping the original sound people love [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Aug 2019 03:01 PM PDT Deep cuts in the ocean floor that go straight to bedrock, and has rare creatures, like different dolphins or very exotic fishes. What do you think? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Aug 2019 12:06 PM PDT I think that they should add armadillos to Minecraft. It wouldn't be too big of a mob, but it would be interesting. Here are some features that could go along with the new mob: -it could drop its shell, which might be able to create a new item or items. -it would be more common to find them during the evening, because this is when armadillos usually scavenge for food in real life. -they could eat seeds from certain crops and termites, once termites are added. -when threatened, they would roll into a ball, which would provide extra protection for them. Better enemy and player animations, but still with Minecrafts simplistic charm. Posted: 19 Aug 2019 11:55 AM PDT Minecraft is a great game, but you gotta admit, it's animations are pretty stale. I suggest the games animations should follow more animation principles, and not just have hands and legs swinging in perfect angles. This would undoubtedly give more life to the game. Like zombies slouching forward slightly with a subtle breathing animation or a skeleton rattling it's bones. Or horses or other animals galloping while fleeing to give a feeling of actual life. An excellent example would be Minecraft Dungeons. It still has Minecrafts lack of basic arm and leg joints but the animations still look so lively. Why can't Mojang just add this in game? The sampler, a redstone device to test blocks Posted: 19 Aug 2019 01:04 PM PDT The Sampler measures the blocks on wither side, and if they are the same block type, produces a redstone signal. If the Sampler is receiving a redstone signal, it only releases a redstone signal if the blocks are completely identical, including NBT data. The Sampler would be crafted using 2 observers, a redstone comparator, and 2 redstone dust. [link] [comments] |
Shears with Efficiency should mine vines faster Posted: 19 Aug 2019 11:50 AM PDT Currently shears are able to have Efficiency yet, it doesn't count when mining vines. Which is a huge pain because it's the only way to collect vines. An axe will mine them faster, but even with silk touch can't drop the vines. Definitely needs to be fixed, because mining vines and making mossy cobble or mossy stone bricks is a huge pain. [link] [comments] |
The ability to build/craft a ship Posted: 19 Aug 2019 10:43 AM PDT For traveling across the ocean. Like a 4x8 platform that you can build a shelter on, place chests/crafting tables/beds on, etc. [link] [comments] |
