Minecraft [EDUCATION EDITION MODE] - Liquid Oxygen

Minecraft [EDUCATION EDITION MODE] - Liquid Oxygen

[EDUCATION EDITION MODE] - Liquid Oxygen

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 05:22 AM PDT

Its a very cold liquid that can only be crafted in Educational Edition mode. Use OXYGEN element surrounded with Ice, Packed Ice or Blue Ice in a grid to make Liquid Oxygen, which can be used for fun or chemistry. Liquid Oxygen is VERY FLAMMABLE, and when coming into contact with explosions/fire/lava/campfires/used in the Nether, it will convert into fire blocks/or make a BOOM noise, creating fire and setting any blocks on fire. Liquid Oxygen WILL freeze any mob except a player who is in Creative Mode. This cannot be put into potions. If Liquid Oxygen touches glass, it will shatter from the coldness. And lava will convert to obsidian with a bang sound and a flurry of smoke.

Liquid Oxygen will disappear over time, cause the temperature of the Overworld/Nether is warmer than -200C. This also causes it to emit vapour. This can be fun for children and adults alike. Liquid Oxygen can be collected in a bucket. Liquid Oxygen disappears much faster in the Nether than in the Overworld.

If still Liquid Oxygen is placed in water, Packed Ice will be made. If Liquid Oxygen flows onto water, ice will be created. It has a 1/5 chance of creating Blue Ice blocks. It also freezes in a radius of roughly 3 or 5 blocks, due to extreme cold.

Liquid Oxygen will de-prime or defuse TNT due to extreme cold

The temperature of Liquid Oxygen is -200C something.

I think Liquid Oxygen should spread very, very far (25 blocks or something), imitating superfluidity as it is close to absolute zero..

I'm not sure what absolute zero is, but I do know it's definitely in the -200s in C.

Ability to squeeze the water from a sponge.

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 11:18 AM PDT

We can use the sponge to absorb a lot of water but what if we want to place a lot. I had the idea when I was building my aquarium and I was using some sponge as decor. I was wishing I didn't have to fill the tank basically block by block.

[READ FULLY] - Clocks should "announce" the time of day

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 05:41 AM PDT

When a clock reaches the Minecraft time of day (sunrise, noon, sunset, evening, night, midnight), a chime should occur, notifying the player of what time it is. Depending on your consoles region, the chime should sound different. If it is in the Australian/European regions, it should have a Westminster chime. If the region your device is set to has no unique clock chime, the clock will default to a standard clock chime sound like how bells make, three times in a row. This also will emit a full redstone signal when the clock chimes.

If a chicken is in the radius of 20 blocks near a clock, the chicken will go cock-a-doodle-doo at sunrise when the clock chimes. This also wakes up villagers and pets. Similarly, if a wolf is within 20 blocks of a clock, it will howl when the clock chimes at sundown.

If a note block or bell is hooked to the clock via a redstone wire, if the clock chimes, the bell/note block will also sound with the same pitch and and sustain as the clock chime does.

Use /gamerule clockchiming to turn the clock chimes on/off. This can also be turned off in the World Options, as this isn't considered a cheat, and may annoy some players, who might like it off.

The sound of a clock chiming can be heard over 20 blocks away.

Clocks are entities in Bedrock apparently, I think. I could be wrong..

The cross on treasure maps should glow when you're directly above the chest, and turn grey if the chest is looted or broken.

A long pulse on a note block should allow it to prolong non-percussive notes.

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 10:03 AM PDT

Affected modes would be Guitar, Bass, Flute, Didgeridoo, Piano, Pling, Banjo, and Bit.

    Better Maps

Biome colored materials ( such as leaves and grass, etc. ) show up on maps, so we can easily differentiate Spruce from Oak and Birch.

    Moutain Phoenix

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 01:20 PM PDT

    Where to find them

The Phoenix is rare and spawns in the mountains, based on the biome vote video feedback.

    Uses of the Phoenix

    1. When tamed, helps you to fight mobs, and gives you regeneration when you are about to die.
    2. When flying, have a chance to drop the Phoenix Feather.
    3. Shows you rare away biomes, like the dolphin with treasures.

    Uses of the Phoenix Feathers

    1. Can be used to brew Potion of Resistance 2 or 3.
    2. Can be used to smell things in furnaces, with an equivalent power of a coal block.
    3. Can be used to craft the bird shape firework.

More Stone Types (Stones Based on the 16 Minecraft Colors)

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 12:41 PM PDT

From what I have heard, Dyed Stone won't be a feature coming to Minecraft.

A feature that would not only fix this but add even more variety to Minecraft (makes up biomes/biome exclusive stone), would be different types of stone based on the 16 colors of Vanilla Minecraft!

For example; black colored stone can be Basalt, or white can be Dolomite/Dolostone. There can even be variants of these stones that are based on the colors they naturally come in, just like Normal and Red Sandstone! Definitely would love to see thst kind of thing implemented with Marble, since it has many varieties and colors.

    What do you guys think?

    Uninhabitable biome.

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 07:05 AM PDT

In this biome, the ground is made entirely of corse dirt.

Sunlight would be slightly brighter than normal, and moonlight would be slightly darker.

There will be occasional two-block-deep pits that you would have to mine the dirt to escape from.

Only undead mobs can spawn in this biome.

Please, tell me what you think!

Melons and Pumpkins should have different looking stocks

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 02:45 AM PDT

    I meant *stalks

A subtle difference would be nice, especially if you are planting lots of melons and pumpkins. it helps keeps your crops organized.

Bismuth, Ruby, and Sapphire, "Charm"ing Nether ores

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 02:37 PM PDT

Imagine this. You're mining in the Nether looking for quartz to finish your build. When suddenly, you happen upon a rainbow colored ore. You mine it out and discover red and blue ores near it. These are bismuth, ruby, and sapphire, the new ores I propose adding to the Nether.

Bismuth, ruby and sapphire would spawn at about a quarter the rate of quartz, and spawn in veins of all three ores. They would each emit a faint light give experience when mined. Once you mine them, you get a Crystal of them. You can place the crystal as a decoration or craft it with eight quartz to get a Charm. Charms give you an effect, such as smite or efficiency, at about half the power of the enchantment. The enchantment depends on using either iron, gold, or diamond on the corners of the crafting table. Charms of the same kind do not stack. You can also craft bismuth, ruby, and sapphire into blocks.

Thanks for reading and leave your ideas and suggestions in the comments.

    Aggressive pigs

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 11:00 AM PDT

Hello, Idk and Idc if this was already suggested, but what about a hog. A wild dangerous version of the pig. Neutral, unless they have babys with them or u attack them. And if u do, their eyes will change to red and will sprint towards u to ram their tusks into u.

They could drop leather and maybe their tusk/s, which u can use for weapons/armor or for a horn.

I found a good reference in nova skin https://minecraft.novaskin.me/skin/4680043/hog

Edit: Maybe if they are far away 14/15 blocks, they sprint towards u and hit u at full spead dealing 3-4 hearts damage. And if they are closer, they only do 1½-2 hearts damage. They also would have a group behavior like the wolves, but would only spawn in "groups" of max 2

Powered shulker boxes should kept it in an open state

    Posted: 19 Sep 2019 09:48 PM PDT

Shulker box that is being powered by redstone should be in a open state.

This will allows for more fancy uses for shulker and even provide vertical slabs in a way that isn't out of vanilla looks

    New Jungle Mob: Gorillas!

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 01:49 AM PDT

Jungles are cool, but they need more mobs. So why not add Gorillas!

They're neutral mobs that are only aggressive when they or a baby gorilla are attacked. They have 20 hearts of health and when attacking, they deal 3 hearts of damage. When they are killed they drop 3 black wool and 2 leather. They eat seeds and bamboo & can be bred with apples.

They should be added, not only to add flavour to jungles. But also to spread awareness about them being endangered.

Jungles should rain regardless of weather

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 01:35 PM PDT

Cause it's so humid. It will only rain if there are loads of trees around, if there are fewer than lets say, 30 trees, it will not rain. It rains only inside the jungle forest, not outside it, so the jungle is making its own "weather". This is not global and never causes lightning. It will cause a white mist (faint) to occur, imitating steam.

    New time bomb

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 12:58 PM PDT

Crafting recipe is a TNT with a clock next to it. You can place it and activate it by selecting an amount of minutes and it will activate when hitting that time. Any source like fire or red stone will also activate it like normal TNT. Not the most useful item, but can be cool for a mini game or dramatic effect for a video

If you leave a berry bush in a hot biome for a long time, it will become a dead bush.

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 04:38 PM PDT

For those of us who want to use dead bushes for a mining town or a haunted house, it would be nice to have a renewable source of them, rather than scavenging a desert. Besides, it would just make sense!

    Placeable potions

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 04:28 PM PDT

I think that adding placeable potions to the game would add a lot of decorative options. Imagine an enchanting room with shelves of potions scattered around the place. Maybe they could be a weak light source as well, which would look especially cool with shaders. Also, if you shoot a potion with an arrow or try to break it without silk touch, it would shatter, and if it was a splash potion or lingering potion it would work as if it had been thrown.

I know the devs have said in the past that they aren't adding in any placeable food other than cake, but I do think that this is slightly different given that potions are not food and I am also not suggesting you would be able drink the potions when they are placed.

    Hourglass and Sundial. It's time

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 01:50 PM PDT

    Hi everyone

This are two block items that could have multiple uses in a very important area of the game. I think they can work well with Daylight Detectors and redstone clock circuits (disclaimer, I am not a redstone engineer at all) to make clocks for specific uses

Hourglass. Craft with 2 bottles, 1 redstone dust in the middle, and 2 wood slabs and 1 stick on each side. When you put the hourglass on the ground (it's the size of a stone wall block) it outpust a signal of 0 intensity, but when you "use" it, it activates and outputs a signal that goes from intensity 15 to 0 during the duration of 1 minecraft day (20 minutes), in proportion to the time passed. If it's fully powered, like with a Redstone Block, it resets and the countdown starts over again. Can work anywhere

Sundial. Craft with a Smooth Stone slab and 3 iron ingots. This block (size is about an enchantment table) will output a redstone signal proportional to the time of the day, but only from minecraft time 0 to 12,000 or 6 am - 6 pm, the signal going from 1 at sunrise to 15 at sunset, then signal goes to 0 until the next sunrise. It needs direct access to the sky for itself and the 8 blocks around it to work properly. Each blocked sky block will make it give an increasingly wrong signal. Signal goes to 0 during rain and thunderstorms but immediately comes back once the weather is clear again

Overall, the Hourglass is designed to make very slow clocks (kelp farms, days-long countdowns) and the Sundial is like a Clock in block version but only works during clear weather

    Dark prismarine armor

    Posted: 19 Sep 2019 11:01 PM PDT

Chestplate: 7 dark prismarine with a conduit (heart of the sea with 8 nautilus shells) in the center

Leggings: 6 dark prismarine with a heart of the sea in the upper middle

Helmet: 4 dark prismarine and a heart of the sea in the upper middle

Boots: 2 dark prismarine with 2 heart of the seas on the top left and right sides

It has the same armor rating as chainmail, but 2 times the durability of iron armor.

When underwater, a full set gives speed 2, strength 2, resistance 2, and conduit power (night vision, waterbreathing, haste to offset underwater mining speed) When emerging from water, the effects remain for 15 seconds.

Aquatic enchantments are also twice as strong when put on each piece of dark prismarine armor. Respiration 6 for example might not be useful with waterbreathing, but that's only if you have a full set. Depth strider 6 would be REALLY useful.

This armor is kind of weak on land, to my understanding of armor ratings, it'd have less than half the protection of diamond armor. But underwater, it's great, which is the idea. The durability is because it's pretty hard to make, you'd have to find 5 heart of the seas and 8 nautilus shells, and I think dark prismarine is exclusive to ocean monuments too, so I'd say it's pretty balanced.

What do you think of this idea?
