The major lag from the 1.14 release has mostly been taken care of, though there are occasionally still lag spikes from time to time. We are excited to play with our new machine and we hope you give us a shot!About Us Colin and I are college students looking to play with new people! We're both engineering students and love to fiddle with redstone and farms. But we also love building beautiful structures and planning a nice base, and just generally hanging out and relaxing with some games. We encourage all playstyles and love to see the creative ways you guys play this game! We have experience hosting multiple servers in the past, such as Colincraft and Nebula Network, and have joined/played on many servers, too. Our goal is to not only create an active Minecraft server, but an active community and group of friends as well. Information A custom world has been made by the Staff team using World Painter, in order to provide a more personal and new experience to veteran and new members. The game is set beyond the default levels of difficulty default Minecraft provides. In addition, ores spawn at different values with different percentages in veins. Custom dungeons, villages, outposts, caves, and more are added. New custom recipes exist to compensate for scarce items. We have a large list of daily, weekly, and monthly events. We have a large number of game-enhancing plugins, including Towny, McMMO, Mythic Mobs with great custom bosses, chest shops, crates, auctions and auction house, quests, treasure hunts, etc! We have an awesome little community going but like with most servers, the active player count has started to die down a little so I'm looking to do what's hopefully a final advertisement to try get a few more mature, serious and dedicated players. The server is 97% vanilla as I've made a few general tweaks and added a few common multiplayer Vanilla Tweaks data-packs/plugins but it's still very much the vanilla experience we all know and love. The current data-packs/plugins are as follows: - AFK Display (player's names will be displayed lighter on the tab list when AFK) - Multiplayer Sleep (only one player has to sleep in a bed to make it day time) - Anti Enderman Grief (prevents Enderman from picking up blocks) - Double Shulker Shells (drops 2 shells instead of 1) - Dragon Drops Elytra (the Ender Dragon will drop Elytra on kill) - More Mob Heads (adds a chance to drop heads from mobs on kill) - Customizable Armour Stands - Silence Mobs (name a name tag 'silence me', 'Silence Me' or 'silence_me' and then use on Mob) Plugins: - Coordinates HUD: use /trigger ch_toggle to activate - CoreProtect (huge anti grief plugin) Paper JAR Alterations: - Per_Player_Mob_Spawns: True (this is to fix the shared mob-cap on multiplayer) - Anti-Xray: True I've also added 'trophies'. Essentially they're renamed MHF_Heads or Custom_Heads that are given out for completing various difficult tasks such as completing all achievements, collecting all Mob Heads or for winning competitions such as the current Halloween Building Contest. They're all purely cosmetic and offer no in-game advantages, think of them as just an extension of the More Mob Heads Datapack. The rules are mostly common sense but are as follows: - No Stealing - No Griefing - No Inappropriate Chat (keep this for private messages on discord) - No Hacking/Cheating (any intentional abuse will result in a permanent ban) - No Harassment (don't be an asshole) - PVP is allowed but must be consensual - Please fill in creeper/ghast holes when possible and in general try to keep the server looking tidy. In progress builds are of course an exception - Spawn is currently being transformed into a community area. Please go at least 500 blocks away from spawn before setting up your base. Also make sure you don't build too close to anyone else's area General Server Info: Server Location: France 6GB of RAM Currently being run on Paper 1.14.4 The server has 3 very active admins in different time-zones so if there's ever an issue it should be able to be resolved very quickly (this has been the case so far). We are just starting to do more community projects/events like the Halloween Building Contest mentioned above and have many things planned for the future. Although everyone has their own areas we're focused on building a strong community and already have shops and a little economy going which helps with further player interaction. After slowly getting back into Minecraft from a loong hiatus, I'm looking for a place to start up my online multiplayer journey. Been fiddling around with some of the bigger modpacks in solo, but that got a tad boring being just myself. So much has changed since I last played vanilla, so I have a lot to learn and hopefully that can be with a group of friendly people. I'm 32 years old, so on the older scale of things - thus I wouldn't mind a bit of an "older" server population - I stated 20+ in the title, so it's not like I'm looking for a retirement home. What am I looking for? A sort of fresh server reset in a Hermitcraft-style inspired environment (Darn you YouTube recommendations for sucking me back in!). Not too many mods, but some basic "ease of living" things like within the Hermit datapack. Preferrably located in EU for obvious ping reasons since I'm from Denmark. I haven't tried cross atlantic ping times for Minecraft, perhaps someone can shine light on if it's a huge struggle or somewhat playable. If there's a Discord tied to the server, that's def a plus. I created this server for me and a friend because we could not find any decent Oceania servers to play on. Currently it is only me and my friend and we figured it would be fun to add a couple more people and see if it's worth upgrading the server. We are looking for people over the age of 18 we both have full time jobs, we play nearly everyday. The server is pretty, we are both working on building our first major home bases, killed the ender dragon a bunch and are mostly setup, but the rest of the land is mostly untouched.
