We began earlier this year in February. The server is in Montreal and sports 8GB of RAM and hermitcraft datapacks. We ask that you be at least 16, but this is not a deal breaker. We have an active community with vibrantly personalities from across the world. Many players choose to play with friends and family. We recently finished some halloween antics as a community event and hope to keep doing more as we grow. Our community areas are just beginning to show their size, with our shopping district starting to feel like a city. We're starting to organize a few larger scale projects like a nether hub or some large farms with perimeters. Are you looking for a small, simple survival server to play on with some friends and other cool people? Well look no further! All applicants that are accepted will be notified ASAP by myself through Reddit PM. On this server, we like to base our most basic values on other SMP servers like Mindcrack and Hermitcraft. So chests and belongings are based on trust, so trust other people to not take your stuff without asking and you don't do it to them. PvP is enabled but a player versus player fight is only permitted if both people agree to fight and give back any items. When you first log on, you will spawn in the 'spawn chunks', there, we as a server community will build starter houses and shops and other cool looking buildings to make a nice little village/town for everyone to enjoy. We have a few some datapacks enabled on the server such as one player sleeping and mob head drops as well to make for a more interesting and streamlined playthrough. So what we want from a member is to be an active and dedicated player on the server, and I really want to emphasis on this. Having Discord and a good microphone to talk is a requirement because we are very social on here and like to talk to each other. A member on the server will also have to be a mature one, now I am not a massive believer that maturity directly correlates to a person's age, but the best way to only accept mature people is to only accept players that are 14+, sorry if anyone is not 14 or above, but an extra detailed application can make up for the fact that you may be younger. We are a medium sized server, looking for players who like mostly vanilla gameplay and have a strong sense of community. PvE - This is our non-PvP server - come along and join us! Players build in survival mode, but only need to worry about mobs! A lot of people collaborate to build towns and cities as for example seen here. Our PvE map reset on July 26th! There's so much new space to set up your builds! A recent addition to PvE is our week Fun Day Friday events. This changes weekly as to what event will happen. This past Friday was Battle Star Go-Whack-ticka aka Wacky Battles! Creative - Our creative server is mostly open world, and a mixture of naturally generated and world painted terrain. Protection is available for your builds, and WorldEdit is free for you to use, if you want to. Community events on Creative include Spleef and Speed Build on alternating Saturdays, Weekly Build, and the recently returned Group Build each Friday! Our Creative server is now running on 1.13.2! Anarchy It was brought to our attention that we ought have labeled our "Chaos" server as an Anarchy server as we do have some rules set up so it's not exactly a free for all! This server is mostly a group of players that have come to play out and test out the latest snapshot! x.nerd.nu is now running the latest 1.15 snapshots. The server is not connected to our main game lobby, so you must connect directly to x.nerd.nu with your snapshot client. The map is not guaranteed to continue from one week to the next. Location: Montreal, Canada Difficulty: Hard Rule(s): No Cheating Clarification on no cheating. No cheating means using any client or code to give you an advantage or "hack" the game. Duping is a grey area because it's using an ingame mechanic or exploit to give you a benefit in the game. Since duping is almost impossible to reliably police we will not be banning people for duping, but it is frowned upon by the community. What this means is most of our players look very negatively upon it and will be less likely to work with you if you are a known duper and may be more likely to target you for griefs or pvp. We are hosting a mostly vanilla - non whitelisted Minecraft survival server. The server has very few rules and restrictions, except for the obvious no griefing or stealing. The only plug-ins that are installed on the server do not alter the vanilla game play very much and only make things a little bit more convenient. We love player interaction and doing community builds, but none of that is required!
