This particular server has the same addons as in the Hermitcraft server. The list below contains the most important ones. Like the Hermitcraft server, the VoidCraft server will feature a shopping district for the first season, which is located on the spawn island (this is why you must build away from spawn). When Season 2 begins on January 1st, 2020, more districts will be added based on player desires and how well Season 1 districts go. The economy is not mod based and is based on an honor system for shops (i.e. when a sign in a shop says "1 diamond, 1 stack", players are expected to pay diamond(s), or other payment method, immediately after taking the stack(s) of any given item being sold). *Note: CoreProtect is only operable by admin, so suspicion of griefing is always handled by admin and 2 strikes of griefing gets a player kicked. We use bosses with rare and unique drops to keep the game interesting while also making it possible for players to grind on. We installed McMMO yesterday with a level cap of 99 and no actual benefits (so far, will be soon enough) from levelling. We want the server to be very grindy but still keeping the survival aspect. We're also working on expanding the PvP community (only in specific areas), which is also kinda hardcore, dying to a player drops all your items on you, which means you can kill other players and get their rare loot. The lag is usually pretty low) with a low player count. That's why we are currently accepting applications. People have for the most part gotten relatively set up, but we still have plenty of room for shops and community projects. The nether hub, for example, is pretty barren at this point and we plan on setting up proper ice tunnels to everyone's base. The server is semi-vanilla. The data-packs installed are pretty standard. A full list can be given on request but the bigger game changing ones are Sethome, Multiplayer sleep, and Customisable Armor Stands. Rules are mostly common sense. Acting less than pleasant towards other players will result in an immediate ban. Only prank with people you've built a rapport with. Bases should be separated by a considerable distance so you're not stealing any land, unless you have permission. There's no age requirement but basic maturity is expected. I wanted to play FTB Infinity again, but I didn't wanna leave it running 24/7 on my PC while my quarries and machines did their things. So I rented a server. Since I've got the server, it makes sense to invite a few people on to it too. I've got two other friends who play currently, as well as one who may join eventually. We've got a Discord with chat integration, though I can't guarantee how active anyone will be at any time. I'm not the most social person, so this is really probably a great server for the hermits out there who - like me - would just think it's nice to play FTB Infinity hosted on another machine. And it'd be cool to see what other people are up to every now and then. It is *very* easy to min/max in this modpack. If that's your goal, you don't need to apply. This is a server for people who want to explore and combine mods and/or make big beautiful builds. It's not for people who want to rush through to full Draconic Gear then get bored and leave. Server rules are basic Don't Be a Dick (DBAD) rules. Using mods to your unfair advantage is fine by me; so long as it doesn't interfere with anyone else's enjoyment of the game. We have a group in-rule that states "Is it funny?" meaning that if we think of something funny to do in game, we have to do it eventually so long as it doesn't break the main DBAD rule. No one outside of the group is beholden to this rule, but they can be victims of the rule. Pranks do happen often. So even if you don't interact with the rest of the group (which is cool), you may find yourself the victim of a harmless prank from time to time. Server is currently at 4GB because that's all I'm willing to afford on the price tier. Server members are expected to respect balance load and do their best to keep lag down to a minimum (i.e.; no quarrying/farming/crafting to get one million of each item, keep farms within chunks, responsible chunkloading, etc.).
