| Posted: 04 Mar 2020 10:03 AM PST Hello, thanks in advance. EDIT: Also, no donation shops and preferably no rewards for voting. I feel this degrades the challenge provided by hardcore mode. I'm looking for a server with a temp 24-hour or 1-week ban that isn't a true anarchy server (I do not want hacked clients allowed). I love being on edge while playing and giving death an actual penalty. However, hardcore + hacked clients being allowed makes absolutely no sense to me, and that's all I can seem to find, aside from a few hardcore servers with too many plugins for my liking. Something as close to vanilla as possible would be great, with the 24-hour or 1-week ban. I've found a few sprinkled on server lists, but they seem abandoned with 0 players on average. If it's semi-vanilla, I'd be okay with some land claiming, etc. I do not want the ability to TP/Warp. Thanks again! [link] [comments]  |

The map will be getting reset with the release of 1.16 - You will be added to the whitelist for both servers if you are approved. play.juniper.link has been running the current world since the release of 1.13 on July 18, 2018. Currently the server is on day ~25000. It is a low population server typically there are between 1-5 people online at any given time, with the weekends being the busiest time to play. I'm VERY new to Minecraft (had this game for about a week), but I've enjoyed watching Minecraft channels on YouTube just because the intricate parts of this game like redstone mechanics and the semi-hidden lore are fascinating to me -- so, for a newbie I think I've got a pretty solid starting knowledge. I played on another server the last few days, but it's been a lot of rubber-banding and lag, which is likely because it's on the other side of the globe (I live in Wisconsin, US). My other issue with that server is every temple, dungeon, etc I've found so far has already been explored and looted by other players, so I'm hoping to find a server that's wiped semi-recently with the intention to stay up for a good while (NOT looking for frequent wipes, just a recent one). At 32 y/o, I'm an old-fart by most of the gaming community's standards. I'm not super adamant about a strict {18+} policy, but would prefer to play with folks close to my age group or at least on the more mature / drama-free end of the spectrum. I'll be bringing one of my gaming buddies along, who is also very new to MC (and hasn't seen shit on YouTube). We're looking to play casually and just figure stuff out on our own (aka, don't deck us out in diamond gear and such the second we log in - some folks are a little TOO generous :P).
