The Escape is a place where players can come play with other like-minded people to help build a world and community without the stresses of their normal, daily lives; hence the name. I've been playing the game for 7 years now, and have always wanted to create some sort of SMP of my own, and it's finally happened! We're just 2 weeks in, and are looking to expand by about 10 players, bring our number to 30. There are about 4-5 players playing on average at one moment. Paper Server Type: PaperMC is a server type that allows for a lot of behind the scenes stuff that change that performance of the server in a big way. For example, arrow despawns happen way quicker, and the game overall stops checking for super rare and useless things constantly. It also allowed me to add CoreProtect to check for any block changes in the chance there are griefers. Overall, Paper has no effect on the Vanilla experience and the server will never run game changing plugins. Datapacks:
(More info about all of these at this link) Player Sweeps: Player sweeps happen every once and a while and are used as a player activity check. Players are given a week to respond to a form and if they don't reply, they'll be temporarily taken off of the whitelist. If they show no signs of activity over the next month, they'll be permanently removed. The only requirement is that your respond to the form, no pressure!

We have been on and off running Minecraft servers for many years, but our philosophy has always been to provide our players an "enhanced vanilla" experience, where our new features tend to add new possibilities instead of taking them away—something we think worked well for us, given that many of our past self-developed features have been, independently, added to Vanilla Minecraft. While PvP is enabled everywhere except the spawn island and PvE dungeons, we reward PvP in designated areas, like the daily king of the hill events on our PvP/Event island. Player bases can still be attacked, sieged and raided, but never griefed. We also use a clan system allowing players to organize and also offering a friend-foe distinction by coloring a player's nametag based on your relation. To get around quickly we offer two features: Roads and Portals. Roads are a special composition of block layers that, if you or your mount walk on them, give you a speed boost. Portals are special structures you can build that can teleport you to any other Portal, as long as you know it's address—but be careful, this goes both ways. Besides the normal player economy we also use a special, physical, currency that can be used to buy features like Portals or the Stonecrusher, a machine that lets you extract additional minerals out of stone and gravel, but also Blueprints that place an entire pre-built building at once and also items with custom skins. ABOUT USIf you're struggling to find a server where you fit in, Echoes: Whitelist is the place for you. Ever since our first server's inception in mid-2017, we've provided a community for those without community. We have zero expectations of everyone who logs in. Excessive rules are anathema to our strict policy of nonconformity. THE SERVEROur aim with Echoes: Whitelist is to create a server with gameplay somewhere in a gray area between factions and whitelisted, group survival worlds. Before first logging in, players must complete a short survey covering personality type and leadership style. According to their responses, players are then sorted into teams of other respondents who answered the survey's questions similarly. PvP between teammates is disallowed, but PvP between opposing teams is encouraged. General Background Info I believe I would be a valuable asset to your server because I'm good at creating cute and rustic medieval scenes and villages, and am very much a team player. Lastly(and most importantly), I'm quite outgoing/sociable and really enjoy meeting new people, making new friends, and contributing in a positive way to whatever server I currently find myself playing on. If I were to be accepted to your server, I think I would bring an energetic and unique perspective to the community. Sorry if this section sounded a bit arrogant, I have many weaknesses (as most people do), but felt the need to market myself cause I really want to find a fun server to play on, with a great community to integrate myself into! We make perimeters for almost all of our farms, or use the end gateways. We use carpet (Monitoring tool) for lag reasons & loading AI accounts instead of alt accounts. We are looking for crazy & ambitious decorators and technical players. We're fans of TIS/Prototech/Scicraft servers, but like decorating just as much as the tech side. We are still growing the community, only 7 active players currently. We share our storage, so their is no real reason for bases, or shops. Our decisions/rules are decided by everyone active & their is no ranks/owners/patrons bias, stackable shulkers and single player sleep is enabled. We also dupe Shells & Elytra as they are not renewable, we have a 40,000 world boarder & use 1000s of shulker boxes in our farms (Guardian-farm=1.4m items/h). We have currently built witherskele, Double guardian, Quadwitch farm, but haven't finished tweaking/decorating. | Lichcraft [Vanilla] {1.8-1.15} Posted: 24 Mar 2020 08:45 AM PDT Running for nearly 2 years with about 300 players in the discord we are constantly expanding and looking to implement new, awesome features to keep people to be entertained. Lichcraft is a remake of the well-known old Lichcraft server however its such a fun server to play even if you haven't played Lichcraft! We currently run the following gamemodes: > Survival > CTF We have few gamemodes as we just had a hostile takeover in early January which resulted in a corrupt former co-owner creating an exact copy of our server and creating his own "Lichcraft". We used to have well over 700+ players in the discord but now we have only about 300 and growing. We have an amazing staff and build team that is very loyal to the community. Our gamemodes have been created to be almost identical to how the old Lichcraft had it but with newly designed spawns. Within each of these servers is a huge amount of great people to interact with that make Lichcraft so amazing to be in. The players are the ones that make the little mini games within servers such as skin competitions, casinos, stores, pvp arenas and so many other kinds of fun activities. We have great interaction with our community on our forums and discord to ensure we take in their ideas and get new content out for them whenever possible. Our staff team is also constantly working to keep the community free of rule breakers and make sure all bugs are being worked on.
