    Server Details

    Why should I join?

    Well, just to give you some background, HearthCraft has been a SMP server for anyone for a year now. We've been giving people smiles, fun times, memories, and friends to people of all kinds since October 2018.

    If you're a Minecraft veteran, I assume you've been in these kinds of servers:

    1. Everyone is just minding their own business. The chat is too flooded to notice you join.
    2. An overly strict and tight one where the staff members, among all people, are the ones rude to you.
    3. A hub server that's just... soulless. A sense of community is hardly found.

    HearthCraft, I can say, is the polar opposite of those servers. When you join, assuming there's people online, you'll be welcomed. Everyone's cool, and... warm.

    A fair experience

    The feature we're proud of is our leveling system. Do you know how in some servers, it's either you're a regular or a donator?

    That's absolutely what we avoid.

    We have a leveling system where you can level up and access extra perks at the price of playtime, mcMMO power, and in-game currency.

    Basically, when you play enough, you'll eventually be able to fly, access certain commands, and even talk with color codes.

    Preserving Sentiment

    We understand that a big thing people hate about most servers is that the worlds reset. While we understand that worlds reset for good reasons like everyone has gotten everything, things have gotten pointless, etc., we will make sure it won't get to that. Everything you build will be preserved. Even the graveyard you made for your first horse.

    WELCOME TO HIMMELSTIG!

    We are a group of 3 adults looking for other adults to join our private server. It is survival Minecraft at its core, but we have established an economy with currency you can earn in various ways including killing mobs and earning achievements. We're hoping to develop a close-knit community by keeping the player limit low.

    Server is based in the US and all three of us are in EST time zone.

    The server is new, so details are still being worked out and rules may be added. If you have a grievance, constructive criticism, or suggestion, we want to hear it! We're not really looking for temporary players and we ask that you try to make an appearance in-game at least once a week. We want you to take pride in your builds and share screenshots in discord of on-going and completed projects.

    RULES:

    1. Be a good person.
    2. No griefing, stealing, cheating.
    3. No PvP unless all involved parties are in agreement.
    4. There is a mob limiter but it's quite high so you shouldn't notice it. Seriously it's enormous.
    5. You need to have a use for items that are auto-farmed. We don't want to set an exact limit on redstone machines and automatic item farming, but essentially, if you are automatically producing stacks and stacks and stacks more than what you need or could realistically use, tone it down or only have it running periodically. (E.g. If you have so much iron that you're selling stacks of iron blocks for 1 diamond, basically begging peope to take it off your hands, that's economy-breaking and ruins what we're trying to do here. If that's what you want to do, this isn't the right server for you.)
    6. We have a limit of 2 personal-use villagers per player

    WORLD EXPERIENCES:

    • We strongly encourage buying/selling between players. In Himmelstig, you can hire villagers to sell your items for you!
    • Brew and drink coffee, beer, and other drinks! Even create your own recipes! A lot goes into making high quality beverages: the right ingredients, distilling, and aging in barrels. Timing is everything. Be careful! Over-drinking alcoholic beverages can cause adverse effects.
    • Get married! For convenience or for love--we won't judge. After you've lived in the world for a week, you and your partner must both be in the presence of the same priest to get married. Marriage gives you the ability to teleport to your partner. And remember, divorce is always an option...after 14 days. Become a priest to make money officiating weddings. Ceremony/divorce prices are set by the officiant.
    • Is your cat's constant meowing driving you crazy? Give or sell them, or any other pet, to another player! Or you have the option of releasing them back into the wild.
    • When you die, your items are held in a chest that no one else can access. Hurry, though; you only have 10 minutes to get back to it before it disappears.
    • Need a quick way to get around? Dragons can take you to other cities and special destinations. Look for the tall towers that reach the clouds!
    • Develop your own city! There are prerequisites (including but not limited to having 3 citizens, a shop in the marketplace, and a dragon tower) and once you're ready, we'll add a marker to the dynmap and give you a dragon stop on your tower. Citizens will also be able to warp to their city.

    I built a sever with ebay parts while I have been quarantined in my apartment, like many of us are. Its primary function is to contribute to the Folding@Home project which, as a whole, is contributing significantly to COVID-19 research by donating computing power. At the time of writing the sever is in the top 8% of contributors to the project.

    I decided to also set up a Minecraft server in hopes of making some friends and building a community. Currently the only active user is me and I have spent the better part of a week getting everything setup properly. I made sure to test all of the plugins and permissions to ensure there are no headaches.

    I built a very basic spawn with three portals so you can get a little jump start.

    What is PokéWorld SMP?

    Like the name suggests, PokéWorld SMP is a whitelisted Pixelmon Survival server! If you enjoy finding, battling and catching Pixelmon, but are also looking for a vanilla/close-to-vanilla survival experience, you should join us!

    The server was opened on the 25th of January 2020, so our world is a few months old now. We're not planning on resetting the world anytime soon either

    What makes PokèWorld unique?

    There are quite a few famous and large public Pixelmon servers that you can join, so why should you bother applying to PokèWorld? What makes us unique?

    A lot of public servers tend to overflow their worlds with both shiny and legendary Pokèmon to the point where they almost have no value. The survival experience is sometimes altered by shops, kits and other perks - which can be fun, but for the players who enjoy a vanilla survival experience, it can be a bit game-breaking. And while playing on an adventure server might be fun, it's not always as fulfilling as facing the challenges of a survival server.

    Here in PokèWorld, we put an emphasis on both vanilla survival, as well as a "natural" Pixelmon experience - meaning that we don't have any amplified spawn rates or other "quality of life" plugins/sidemods. On this server, we play Minecraft survival the way Notch intended - but with the companionship of our Pokèmon of course!

    Be aware, there are a couple of other things that PokèWorld does differently that might not be as appealing to everyone. The explanation is a bit long, but if you want to read them you can read it >>here<<

    • Small, friendly, committed, long-term community.
    • No land claim, build wherever and as big as you want.
    • No ranks, there is no pay to win, you can choose your own name and chat color.
    • We are able to undo griefing per-player, and everyone has access to the '/co i' command to be able to check your own items for grief and report as needed.
    • No world resets, ever. We are here for the long-term builders.
    • You can choose at spawn whether to keep-inv or not, or choose to take the hard route and turn off natural regeneration. exp is not saved on death, so using death as a way to get home faster still has consequence.

    We like the vanilla mechanics of Minecraft and try our best to keep our plugins light, the plugins we use are mostly for things like linking discord to our in game chat.
    We are looking for mature players who don't steal and can work either with us or off on their own.

    When you first join you will have to go through a quiz which keeps out the impatient players who just want to grief.

    We also have a creative world for testing your builds and a new skyblock server we are setting up.

    TrekCraft is not an ordinary server. Here at TC we have a growing community that takes part in events every week and staff that will help you through any situation. We have a large number of game-enhancing plugins, including Towny, McMMO, Mythic Mobs with great custom bosses, chest shops, crates, auctions and auction house, quests, treasure hunts, etc! These plugins help players have the best experience, whether it's having fun with friends or getting down to business by having the best town. Our staff also hosts events like trivia and drop parties (all with items obtained legitimately) and competitions!

    Description

    Crown is a small and private, pure vanilla survival server opened in 2012. The server isn't occupied around the clock and probably never will be. We have moments of peace and quiet, interrupted only by creepers. Our goal is not to grow big, or fast. Instead we are aiming for a small, but stable and close knit community. A group of people who enjoy having a chat in Discord and playing Minecraft together. A group of people that can call each other friends.

    Permanent world - no resets

    So, what kind of server the Crown is, other than small? Well, it's not new. We have a permanent world, which was born in 1.2 and it has withstood all the changes and updates the game has gone through. This is a place where you have time to build the base of any scale or size and you can be sure it won't be wiped off clean with the next update. And we will see the next update, because this server isn't going down any time soon. This promise was made in 2012 and it still holds.

    Due to our old and developed world the gameplay emphasis is more on building and enjoying the end game rather than surviving and exploring. That being said, the difficulty is set on hard so all volunteers can have their first nights in the harsh and exciting way too. Or grab a stack (or two) of iron blocks from spawn and start from there.

    Although our world is old and relatively small, we do have space for new members. Due to our small and stable player base, the world isn't filled with giant mega structures. We certainly have them, but there is always room for new members to build their homes and leave their mark on the world.

    Rules

    When it comes to rules, the list is short. We have a strict and controlled exploration of the new terrain, which has been enforced with a world border since the 1.8. This is crucial to help our world to survive the future updates. Controlled exploration allows us to have the new content when it gets added to the game. Other than that our only rule is using common sense. Friends don't need much rules, right?

    Principles

    We are all equal on the Crown. All major issues affecting the server and our members are discussed together, including new member applications. We prefer to have a democracy rather than a tyranny. Also there are no admins or mods flying around in creative and ruining everything, because there are no admins or mods. Only two members have access to the console and they have de-opped theirselves. We all play like regular single player survival, just on multiplayer.

    Where are we from

    Most of our members are split between Europe and North America and the server itself is based in Germany. We have had members from Asia (as far as Singapore) and even from Hawaii. We have a Discord server where we hang out and a private subreddit for server related content. Right now we are a little down on activity and it would be wonderful to get a couple of new faces to bring new life to the Crown.

    How to join

    So, how can you become part of our community? The Crown is a private server, so there is no applications to fill out. If you think you would enjoy a small Minecraft loving group of friends, you can introduce yourself and maybe we'll talk more. All introductions will be discussed with all the members and if all goes well, we'll invite you to have a chat with us. It goes without saying that the way you write your message is the way you give out the first impression of yourself, which is very important.

    We have a chill vanilla survival server, with a few plugins to make things easier! The server is a few weeks old, however the majority of people have joined in the last couple of days as I have listed / advertised the server so most people are at the same level. Currently on 1.15.2 and will update to 1.16 when it comes out, so the nether will probably be reset.

    The plugins we have are only small tweaks, nothing too extreme as we want to keep the server vanilla.

    The only real rules we have on the server are that people don't grief or steal from other players, that's about it! We trust everyone to play sensibly but there are a couple of active admins who can help if things go wrong!

    We have players from all over the world, so at any given time there are usually around 5-10 people online. The server is hosted by myself in the UK, but there are players from the US, Canada, Europe and Australia who are active and don't have connection issues.

    Plugins

    -AFK to show when people are inactive in the tab menu

    -Single player sleeping

    -Sort inventory / chest by pressing the mouse scroll wheel

    -Dynmap - google maps like interface to show where people are in the world

    -Minigames - for people to make their own arenas / parkour / racing courses !

    -Shopkeepers - simple plugin to protect player shops (trading items for diamonds)

    -Chairs - you can sit on stairs by right clicking with an empty hand

    -Spartan - the top-rated anticheat plugin, to protect everyone

    -DiscordSRV - the text channel is linked to our staff discord chat, so people can contact an admin even if there are no admins currently playing on the server

    -GriefPrevention - simple plugin so that people can protect their builds and items by claiming land by using a wooden shovel. It's not essential that everyone claims everything they build, just a precautionary measure if people wish to use it!

    When you first join, you'll spawn in a lobby world. This is just to protect the server from random people joining, if you DM me either on reddit or discord i can move you into the survival world and you can start playing :)

    Lastsnap [Vanilla] [SMP] {Nether Update} {Whitelisted} {Faithful Datapacks}

    Lastsnap Vanilla is a regular, robust SMP vanilla server, but we're ahead of everyone, on the latest snapshot or release. The goal is to offer a polished Minecraft experience with the latest features.

    Despite snapshots being unstable, I do my best to mitigate possible bugs by having copious amounts of backups around. Furthermore, it also helps with the longevity of the server and the safety of your progress and work.

    Lastsnap is free, and is powered by passion. Server hosting is done locally, on a dedicated machine. Hardening and optimization are done without return in mind. All in mind to make the player's experience better in the most recent Minecraft release.

    An important aspect of our server is social interaction. The server has, for example, a shop district and player-arranged teams. Furthermore, interaction rules are loose (as expected from a mature community), and you do not need to hold back your personality to make anyone happy. Just don't cross the lines we make clear in the rules.

    Lastsnap has unique datapacks that enable Quality-Of-Life features, whilst keeping it vanilla. For example, only 35% of players need to sleep to skip the night, enchanted golden apples are craftable like before, and Phantoms do not spawn. Some teleportation commands are available as well.

    Hello, I created a Realm for Bedrock Edition and I want to do something different, but simple, so it will be based on the game Rust.

    The Realm will be on Survival, no cheats with achievements on.

    PvP, Griefing and Stealing will be allowed, may chaos reign. But not everyone needs to act in such a way, we can team up with others and play together.

    The world will not be reseted so we can dedicate ourselves to it.
