I have it running on a server that should be up and running 24/7. I need people to join and test it's stability to see if I need to make any modifications to my setup to make it more stable... Our second map started in January, so we've all been having fun doing new map antics and building our new bases. The server is in Montreal and sports 16GB of RAM and hermitcraft datapacks. We ask that you be at least 16, but this is not a deal breaker. We have an active community with vibrantly personalities from across the world. Many players choose to play with friends and family. Some of our events included a Secret Santa over the holidays and the first end dragon fight. We are currently playing an infection themed zombie game (appropriately named infection) to have some fun during the various stay at home orders. This server has been running for over a year and currently has a small and fairly inactive community, but we hope to change that soon! Also, if you don't have any texture packs on or use very minor ones, feel free to use the server's texture pack. It makes minimal changes to the default vanilla texture pack. Some features include (but aren't limited to) - Vein miner and timber, break the bottom block while crouching and the whole thing will come crashing down! - Per player mob caps (for those of you who make mob farms without spawners, and no, you can't silk touch spawners) - Shop world and /trade for safe trading - Sleep plugin so only half of every survival player needs to sleep - Data packs like ArmorStandCustomizer (Ask General_Zimmer for the book) - Discord integration giving the server features like chatting with players ingame from discord (and vice versa) and automatically join voice channels with people near you ingame - Grief prevention, you can claim and resize your claims with a golden shovel, and you can get claim blocks from Zimmer if you're building big builds (just don't be like Mumbo Jumbo, please) - Items dropped by players dying are protected When you first join the server, you'll be Newcomer and you'll have limited access to commands (Don't worry, if your friend invited you, he can teleport you to him) , you can gain citizen automatically by playing on the server, which will grant you access to commands/permissions to trade, create shops, and more teleport commands. | Posted: 21 Apr 2020 07:43 AM PDT Welcome to Rosefalcon, where RPG is at its finest. (Java Edition Server). The RPG can be anything you like, you can be a wizard, king, knight, citizen living a survival life, or even a politician! Everyone is in survival mode where they can build up and live a survival life with turns and twists. Rosefalcon is an unnamed territory located in the Great Ocean of Acromn. There are three kingdoms located there, the Highlands, Gloria, and the Nomads. The three kingdoms are ruled by great kings who live in their capitals, when you spawn your goal is to rank up and create your own survival life with a community of people. Setting: You will spawn in the City of Breaburg, the capital of the Highlands kingdom. You may either stay in the Kingdom and live there or you can explore the 4000x4000 block map and create your own survival life. Each real-life week is two years in-game time. As the current year in game is 1780, next week will be 1782. Ground Rules: (Breaking of the rules means a ban). -No hacking at all. This includes duplication. -No grieving the server. -Be respectful to players, bullying is not tolerated as we want all of our players to enjoy this safe space. -No Stealing from other players. -Respect and follow the roleplay. The Roleplay: The roleplaying can be whatever you like. You can choose any job or position to work as in the kingdoms. (Excluding nobility or royalty). Your character will default as a guest until you choose a city to live in, which you then become a citizen, and you may level up from there. Keep in mind that you must also build up a survival life while in game. There are three classes in our kingdom's society - to rank up the class system you must either demonstrate dedication to our server or reach one of the moneys quota, The Citizens, or peasantry of the kingdom. The quota is 0 moneys. The Bourgeoisie, or middle class. The quota is 1000 moneys. The Aristocracy, or upper class. The quota is 20000 moneys. Positions in the aristocracy include Baron, Baroness, Duke, Duchess, Prince, and Princess. These positions have higher privileges in the server (Building materials, etc.) The Royalty is at the top. There is no quota for this level as it is due selection of the monarchy. We ask that each player speaks in a roleplay manner.
As for actions, while speaking, you should put the action in between, before, or after a speaking line. Ex: "Where shall I go" the knight turned his head right. It is also important to recognize a person by their rank, for the monarchs, you must address them by "your Majesty," for prince/princess "your Highness," duke/duchess/baron/baroness "your Grace." For Bourgeoisie and Citizens, you can address each other by your in character name. This applies for PVP. Unwanted or unknown PVP will not be recognized. Economy: Each kingdom runs on moneys, which can be used to trade with players for goods, buy materials, and even land. There are houses in the cities that players can buy and live in. Most homes are around 50-200 moneys. Enchanted items cost 15 moneys per enchantment. Server Events: Each week at least one event will be planned, which can be an election for government positions or a player tournament in the kingdom Arena. We expect all players to attend these events to keep our server alive and active. Player Census: Each week, a census will be given out to all players to ensure that our community is active. Royal Court: This is our server-wide weekly event. All players are invited to join in the throne room of the castle of the Highlands Kingdom. This is a time for the weekly announcements and petitions players may have for survival life and to make the server a better place. It is highly encouraged that all people attend. Mass at the Breaburg center cathedral: Feeling spiritual and want some roleplay? Come join the server mass at the cathedral. This is headed by our Pope who reads inspirational quotes out loud to players. All players are welcome to attend this weekly event. It usually happens after the Royal Court. Survival Life in General: As players are expected to enact the roleplay, all players are in survival mode and should start up their own lives in the kingdom of their choice. Players can mine and make houses/farms, the survival world is yours. Elections: Although our kingdoms are ruled by monarchies, we ask that players participate in elections to vote on candidates that all players can apply for. Positions include; General of the Army, Knight of the Army, Colonel of the Army, Governor of the Colonies, Governor of the Nether, Senator, Representative of your Kingdom, Parliament, and Treasury. These government positions help alongside the monarchs to rule the kingdoms. Parliament: This is our governmental meeting each week after Mass. This event takes place in the Parliament Hall in the City of Breaburg, it is for all people in a government/noble/royal position. This is where we will have a communal census on future updates for our server, etc. If you are not a part of the government or nobility, you may attend but cannot have an opinion in the Parliament. We have a large number of game-enhancing plugins, including Towny, McMMO, Mythic Mobs with great custom bosses, chest shops, crates, auctions and auction house, quests, treasure hunts, etc! We are semi-new and I'm really struggling to learn how to advertise consistently. I have a factions meme page (@hamfactions) but posting there and to server lists doesn't seem to do me very good.
