Place your Bed near a Campfire and say No to Sleeping Bag. Posted: 21 Jul 2020 05:53 AM PDT I have read many posts about Sleeping Bag, a variant of Bed which won't change your Spawn Point if you need to sleep far away from home. But everyone say no because Bed is unique. So here is my solution for this problem. Place a Bed within two blocks radius around a Campfire. Now that Bed won't set your Spawn Points anymore. Good Night! Thanks For Reading! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2020 08:03 AM PDT Let's be honest, lakes in Minecraft suck. They're sometimes partly underground and are almost always under ten blocks wide. It would be more accurate to call them ponds than lakes due to their small size. Sometimes there are four or five in a single plains biome and really destroy the look of the terrain and make just all around ugly. My suggestion is that we keep the lakes we have now but rename them ponds, and have far fewer of them laying around. I also propose that there is another terrain generation called lakes which are maybe 25-50 blocks in diameter and sometimes as deep as 12 blocks. [link] [comments] |
Gravity blocks stick to honey blocks Posted: 20 Jul 2020 05:23 PM PDT When a gravity block is under a honey block, it should stick to the honey block and not fall. When the honey block is removed, the gravity block would update and fall to be ground. Maybe this could be taken a step further, where if a gravity block is touching any face of a honey block, it would be unaffected by gravity until the honey block is removed? But personally I prefer the former idea. [link] [comments] |
Chickens pathfind to hay blocks to lay their eggs Posted: 21 Jul 2020 12:31 PM PDT If no hay blocks are around then they just lay them regularly [link] [comments] |
Implement the mobs that lost the mob vote as paintings. Posted: 20 Jul 2020 10:41 PM PDT A lot of players really hate the phantom, and in retrospect, wish that another mob had won the vote. Unfortunately, Mojang has categorically denied that request, saying that the other mobs will never be added. However, I think it would be a really cool addition to the game if these mobs were immortalised as paintings. So, in some small way, they would be implemented in the game. [link] [comments] |
Grass blocks turn into dirt when burnt Posted: 21 Jul 2020 10:10 AM PDT |
Make Achievements Show Like Java Posted: 21 Jul 2020 06:39 AM PDT It's annoying if i need to go to profile just to show the achievements. That would be nice if they add this feature so i don't need to go to profile again [link] [comments] |
Eyes of Ender thrown in the end should point to the nearest End City Posted: 21 Jul 2020 01:53 PM PDT Since Eyes Of Ender have no specific uses in the End (other than End Crystals) I feel like they should become a better item in the late game. From personal experience, I know how hard it can be to find new end cities, especially without Elytra. So I thought this would be a fitting use. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2020 03:06 PM PDT In the middle of nowhere, a tower of signs surrounded by path blocks point to the direction of a nearby village. Each sign points to a different village, within 1000 blocks away. Sometimes, a sign will point to a non-village structure. Sometimes, nowhere still. The catch for this: the signs are written as riddles in a random real-life language. If the player cannot read the signs and figure out the riddles, the player risks going to an unwanted structure or getting lost. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2020 11:58 AM PDT Lecterns allow the player to display written books, but their current mechanics could be improved on. Here's a few ideas:
I'd like to see these all ingame, especially the third one. This would allow creating to-do lists that aren't unnecessarily clunky. [link] [comments] |
Armor stands holding the right food item should attract the corresponding mob Posted: 21 Jul 2020 01:40 PM PDT My idea is that if for example a stand armor is holding wheat, it should attract sheep and cows for 15 seconds until they realize it's a prop, this would facilitate early game farms. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2020 03:53 AM PDT Witches, when on hard mode, should drop strength and fire resistance potions near other mobs to protect them. I also think witches should be immune to negative effects. [link] [comments] |
C418 - “Équinoxe” should be added to the game Posted: 21 Jul 2020 02:44 PM PDT |
Add Piglins offering/bartering/dropping directions to structures to the FPS list. Posted: 21 Jul 2020 03:32 PM PDT I'm not sure how many times an idea must be posted to warrant consideration, but here's some. They vary a little (fortress v. bastion) but I think the general idea's gotten out there. https://old.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/g6h3dh/make_piglins_give_a_map_of_bastions/ https://old.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/hgabro/piglin_compass_trade/ [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2020 02:44 PM PDT The ender jelly is a special mob found exclusively in the end. They fly around, moving like a squid, however they are faster and go in the air. They are hostile and swim towards the player, and they have a very large detection radius. They are unique in that they are immune to the void, and it is actually where they spawn, with them spawning in packs of 4-8 and flying up to the outer end (they spawn in the inner end void too, but not in packs, much less commonly, and only after the death of the ender dragon). Unlike other mobs, they have a high chance of persistence, being 50/50. This means they mostly stay until death, so the longer you stay, the more dangerous the end becomes. The ender jelly has a dark blue colour scheme, meaning they may easily camouflage against the black background. They also have magenta tips on the end of their tentacles, which glow very dim light. Upon inflicting damage, they may inflict the "Ender Spark" effect on the player, which means the player cannot use ender pearls, is immune to the /tp command, and cannot use nether or ender portals. They may also on attack teleport the player to a random location nearby, like chorus fruit. On death, the ender jelly may drop 0-3 ender pearls and 0-2 ender tentacles. The ender tentacle has durability and acts like a wood sword. It also has a 25% chance when attacking to teleport the target to a random location like what the ender jelly does. The tentacle can also be brewed to get a potion of Ender Spark. The final EJ drop is 0-2 glowing sacks, which resembles the tip of their tentacles. The glowing sac acts simply as an alternative to popped chorus fruit in the end rod recipe. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2020 11:46 AM PDT I understand the dofiretick gamerule and a firespread setting for multiplayer exist. The point is that we can have fire spreading turned on while having a way to prevent your own fires from accidentally spreading somewhere you don't want it to if you have this block. Piglins should give maps to the nearest fortress Posted: 21 Jul 2020 01:47 AM PDT Piglins can barter you a map to a fortress so that it's easier to find or maybe if you trade long enough they will trust with the map to the fortress so that you can raid their enemies [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2020 02:47 PM PDT Currently if you have a fire aspect and looting sword and the mob dies to fire and the final hit is not from your sword, the mob will drop the same amount of loot as if you had no looting. This needs to change please, the loot should increase, since I have a looting three sword. This makes it really annoying especially if you're fighting endermen (which teleport every time they take fire damage, which make it so that they almost always die from your fire), or animals who run away when you hit them, so they also die from the fire a lot. Edit: doesn't have to be Looting III, just looting in general sorry can't edit the title. [link] [comments] |
Make it so creepers don't retaliate to attacks by other mobs Posted: 21 Jul 2020 01:25 PM PDT It seems like the devs are going out of their way to avoid letting mobs get in fights with creepers. Even zoglins don't attack them. But still, if a skeleton misses a shot and hits a creeper, the creeper fights back you get a random and unpredictable explosion with very little player involvement. It just seems like such a simple fix, and would make zoglins and johnny vindicators make more sense. why would they not attack a creeper, lore-wise? They'll pick fights with ravagers and withers but not creepers? [link] [comments] |
"Mining Fatigue" should be renamed to "Fatigue" Posted: 21 Jul 2020 03:28 PM PDT I went to an Ocean Monument yesterday for the first time, and killed a Guardian for Prismarine. On the way back to my base (on my boat), I swung my sword, and noticed a decrease in attack speed. "Mining Fatigue" makes the status effect sound like it only affects mining-related items. Because it also makes you attack slower, I propose this status effect be renamed to "Fatigue" to better match its properties (and the fact that it is the opposite of the "Haste" status effect). Just a minor change, but it would make players a little less confused when they receive the effect. Would love to hear feedback! [link] [comments] |
There is a layer under bedrock Posted: 21 Jul 2020 04:36 AM PDT There could be a 1 - 5% chance of finding a hole in bedrock that you can go under to find a place with something called darkstone or deepstone etc. The ores would have the same style as emerald ore and is fairly rare. The ores would be called something like 'deepstone diamond ore' and would be stronger than diamond but weaker than netherite. For example: deepstone gold ore is stronger than gold but weaker than iron or has the same armor level as iron armor. This could be ideal for 1.17 or 1.18 as a cave update. This post was inspired by someone else idk who tho. [link] [comments] |
Blast Arrow which doesn't make you become a Mobile TNT Canon Posted: 21 Jul 2020 04:56 AM PDT • Blast Arrow is a variant of Arrow, can be crafted with Arrow and Gunpowder. • Blast Arrow can generate an small explosion which has 1 Power level and deals no terrain damage. • If fired with a normal Bow, Blast Arrow is just the same as a regular Arrow. • If fired by a Bow with Flame Enchantment, Blast Arrow will explode after 0.8s. • Blast Arrow fired with a normal Bow still explode after 0.8s if it hits a Burning Player, a Player using Fire Aspect Sword, a Burning Mob, Fire, Lava, a Magma Block or a Lit Campfire. • I also want to let Blast Arrow explode if it hits Iron Armor part, Shield and things made from Iron Ingots because arrow tips is made of Flints. But it seems a bit OP. [link] [comments] |
Zombie Horses should spawn in Soul Sand Desserts Posted: 21 Jul 2020 03:15 PM PDT Since Zombie Horses can't spawn in vanilla survival, it would be a cool feature to have them spawn somewhere in the nether! The soup sand dessert is a vast open area, so I think it's be fitting that they spawn there, but the warped Forrest definitely needs something more than just Enderman [link] [comments] |
