We believe that inclusiveness and respect for each other benefits everyone, this is why the server keeps succeeding to be a great place for making friends and just having an awesome time together. The server is running 1.16.1 with a fresh nether world to explore! We are always open to new members, so make sure to join us and become a part of the EagleCraft community. To enhance the survival experience of vanilla Minecraft we are using mcMMO, a premium plugin loved by many players across the globe because of its great levelling system that rewards players for doing basic actions like mining etc. The server is also using Dynmap, a dynamic map as the name might indicate. A plugin that allows players to easily get an overview of the land around spawn to easily find great places to build bases. When players have found a place to set up camp and establish a base, they are able to create land claims using our Grief Prevention plugin. You can even give your friends access to your land claims. This plugin also includes other excellent anti-griefing countermeasures for all players to enjoy. Finally but not least, our anti-cheat system which is Spartan Anti-Cheat, a premium anti-cheat solution trusted by thousands and fortunately very light-weight for enhanced server optimization. We are as every other server also using Essentials for players to access /sethome and /spawn, etc. The EagleCraft server is taking all server optimization very seriously, this includes having excellent hard- and software. Minecraft is, unfortunately, a very poorly optimized game, but here at EagleCraft, we believe that we have found the perfect combination to solve the issues regarding the optimization problems with Minecraft. In other words, the server is only running the most necessary plugins that also have been tested on a separate testing-server to confirm they are stable enough and with minimal - if not unnoticeable optimization problems. The server is running the latest version of PaperMC, a fork of Spigot, which is the only acceptable way to run a Minecraft server in 2020. Noteworthy plugins we use: mcMMO, Dynmap, Grief Prevention, EssentialsX, One Player Sleep, CoreProtect, Spartan Anti-Cheat, ChatEx, More Mob Heads. Server rules and guidelines 1) No griefing or anything of a similar nature. 2) No modifications that include hacking or massively advantageous features. 3) Do not post racist or NSFW content. 4) Talk English in the chat only. 5) Do not advertise. 6) Listen to staff, their word is final. 7) Only ping/mention staff if the situation heavily requires it. 8) Do not spam and never use full caps. 9) Contact staff if you see a player breaking the rules. 10) PvP is allowed, provided both parties consent. 11) Swearing is allowed, as long as you do not target other people. 12) Pranking is allowed, as long as it is not destructive or impossible to remove. 13) No inappropriate usernames. 14) Claim land with a respecting distance from other players' houses, unless it is okay with them. 15) Try not to ruin terrain, quarries and etc. can be made underground [link] [comments]  |

Here's a list of the particular 'features' of this server: - 1.16.1 (version will be updated as Mojang releases) - Datapacks (a good selection from Vanilla Tweaks, and more) - Fabric (which allows for certain mods QoL mods server-side such as Lithium and Carpet) - World border at a 10,000 block radius from spawn (increased as needed) - Chunk pre-generation out to about 3,200 blocks in the Overworld and Nether - Currently 12-15 active members The goal of Closies is to be a community-oriented server, meaning there are a couple of guidelines to help keep everyone on the same page: - No griefing, stealing, looting, undesired PvP, etc. We want to foster cooperation and quality builds, and not necessarily cave dwelling (unless you're into that). - No exploits such as hacked clients or x-ray resource packs. We have a large number of game-enhancing plugins, including Towny, McMMO, Mythic Mobs with great custom bosses, chest shops, crates, auctions and auction house, quests, treasure hunts, etc! These plugins help players have the best experience, whether it's having fun with friends or getting down to business by having the best town. Our staff also hosts events like trivia and drop parties (all with items obtained legitimately) and competitions! We're trying to grow a community with a love for anarchy and survival Minecraft. Anything goes here and the server isn't for the feint of heart. No current rules, but server staff may have to intervene if someone is purposely trying to lag/take down the server. The server is hosted in Dallas, so for most US/Canadian players you will have an enjoyable playing experience without a great deal of lag! Creeper holes, just fill them in. Holes around spawn is a nightmare and isn't appreciated when they're scattered about. Be kind and respectful to your fellow Minecraft players, I won't tolerate abuse. Don't Grief, simple. If the NetherHub tracks, get broken during your use just fix it! You're more than welcome to hook your base up with the NetherHub. No advertising your own server in chat or spamming. Don't build next door to another player without consent. Land Claiming is a thing, you can't destroy blocks, HOWEVER if your base is accessible to players. Expect a raid!! That's no secret.
