Koinotita Gaming is an online community, originally known as FXGaming, which started off as a server on Garry's Mod, it is a popular community with many players both past and present. I created this server originally for people to play on Minecraft within the community but also opened it to the public for more players. The phrase 'koinotita' is Greek for community. The server opened up at the end of August 2019 but we're just struggling to get players, with so many large servers taking up majority of players us smaller servers find it hard to stay around. EagleCraft is not just completely vanilla survival, but it's close enough that you won't notice much of a difference. A plugin that allows players to get an overview of the land around spawn to easily find great places to build bases. The server features singleplayer sleep so that you can have the server skip the night. Animals even have a chance to drop their head, something that makes hunting more fun. Have you ever wanted to sit on the stairs to make your chairs functional? Well, on EagleCraft you can do that! When players have found a place to set up camp and establish a base, they are able to create land claims using our Grief Prevention plugin. You can even give your friends access to your land claims. This plugin also includes other excellent anti-griefing countermeasures for all players to enjoy. We are as every other server also using Essentials for players to access /sethome and /spawn, etc. Finally but not least, our anti-cheat system which is Spartan Anti-Cheat, a premium anti-cheat solution trusted by thousands and fortunately very light-weight for enhanced server optimization. The EagleCraft server is taking all server optimization very seriously, this includes having excellent hard- and software. Minecraft is, unfortunately, a very poorly optimized game, but here at EagleCraft, we believe that we have found the perfect combination to solve the issues regarding the optimization problems with Minecraft. In other words, the server is only running the most necessary plugins that also have been tested on a separate testing-server to confirm they are stable enough and with minimal - if not unnoticeable optimization problems. We have an active community with around 20 members currently, which is a bit less than I would want for the perfect community size. That's why I have decided to open up applications one more time for around 5-10 more members. In terms of how far along we are on the server, we have been doing tons of work for around a week now so there is definitely some big projects done on the server, but there is still a lot more to be done. New members that join might feel a little behind at first, but the server is still pretty new so there is plenty of room for more people to settle and get started. This server is also very much inspired by the Hermitcraft series on youtube as I watch a ridiculous amount of that and I am constantly motivated by their community and what they accomplish. This means that we have included several iconic features of that server. These include several vanilla tweaks datapacks, a clearly defined shopping district, and a big emphasis on community and group events/projects. The shopping district is already a huge success, so anyone who doesn't want to deal with the full grind of the early game can purchase things like enchanted books, useful blocks, and elytra as long as they get their hands on some diamonds. Hopefully, this can make the server super fun and encourage new members to stay active. This also means the members have to form a strong community and trust each other to add something positive to the server. That's why I have created a simple application process that you can fill out by clicking the Google Form link at the bottom of this post. Since, this is the third and possibly final post about the server, all applicants are not guaranteed a spot. The server generally has around 4-15 players online at once. All build styles are welcome. Most of us are fluent in English, but there are a few germans and several other nationalities. Our only rule is to respect others! This means no stealing or griefing, and no picking on anyone (unless as a joke, obviously). We love to pride ourselves as a community that does what other communities dream of. We build the most elaborate farms, take on the largest projects, and have the most fun doing so.
