    Hello everyone! Astra is an incredibly old non-profit server, and through the years, we have grown a community and formed our own identity as a server.

    Information about Astra

    🏠We have formatted our server in such a way that promotes the creation of cities and businesses.

    There are certain requirements that a city or country must meet for it to be recognized as official. These can range from how many members they have, to city banners and such.

    🌍We also have a Dynmap (full server map on a website for live viewing).

    Personally, I find it really fun to just wander around the world, and finding these various destinations - seeing what our community has put together.

    👥Despite the fact that we're a lot in this community, we all get along. That's something rare that I haven't seen on many other servers.

    No, you don't need to be 18+ to join our server. I have always found that rule on other servers quite idiotic considering people mature at different ages, so that's not something you should worry about.

    We have an active staff team - handpicked members that I find suitable to be staff. All our staff members are long-time players of Astra.

    🧰We also have a few custom plugins just to spice it up a little (e.g. you can vote in chat for the time of day, report others, list all cities, view relics (exceptional or sentimental builds handpicked by staff & the community), a world map, and much more.

    There are quite a few data packs as well (vanilla tweaks). Our players are also able to check by themselves who has interacted with their build/storage without needing staff to do it. This saves everyone a lot of time.

    This is a small vanilla server with a few vanilla tweaks. We started out as a small group of friends from Germany. We are in our mid 20s and have been enjoying Minecraft since our school years. We have always been keen on playing together and having fun in this virtual world.

    Living in a world not only by ourselves is a lot more enjoyable and fun! Seeing buildings grow and other things being built from other people is just a great feeling and gives so much joy.

    After a break from many of us, we are happy to get some new and active members around who enjoy doing stuff by themselves and as a community. There's still a lot of unfinished projects. A few fun games at a mini game hub have been created + a netherhub outline.

    There are many abandoned bases, depending on who's base it is, these bases may be claimed and brought back to life. If that is not your thing, there are many unclaimed lands around.

    There are no set rules on where you have to be on the server, it would be cool if we are all closer together so we can see each other from time to time or build bigger projects together. I happen to be terraforming a huge mountain range and a mountain cabin village and some wizard tower ( which is nearly complete... the wizard tower, not the mountains :P). Anyone is happy to be part of this massive project. Together is always better than alone :-).

    Features:

    This is a vanilla server and there are no mods installed. We are running on papermc with a few little tweaks that visually don't change the vanilla gameplay but improve the multiplayer smoothness by a lot. Paper also helps me figure out lag issues a lot better, if there are any.

    We do everything in survival, no creative or other game modes. There will be no commands for items/levels/spawning etc. Literally the scoreboard command will be used, because we like to see how often someone dies when pressing tab.

    We are testing out some data pack just to tweak vanilla experience a tiny bit. These are not final and might be changed in the future, depending on what the majority thinks is too much or needs to be added.

    Following Data packs are currently installed:

    Mob Heads have a chance of dropping on a kill (Reason: Fun)

    Player Heads will drop if killed by a player (Reason: Fun)

    The Enderdragon will drop an elytra (Reason: this helps the long marches through the end when it's been raided for thousands of blocks already)

    Shulkers drop 2 shells each (Reason: Same as above)

    XYZ and Time Display (Reason: Ability to show only the Coordinates and Direction instead of the whole F3 screen, which is overwhelmed by information and text)

    AFK Display (Reason: To see if someone is afk and not active)

    Multiplayer Sleep (Reason: Only 50% of the people online have to sleep to skip the night. We have changed this from 1 player sleep this week and it seems to be better this way)

    As with every decision, I as a server owner will ask my fellow members and debate on new data packs or community projects. I'd love for you to help me out with new community projects and ideas! This is not just about my ideas, we are all working in this world together! (At least in the Community area, your bases and farms are all private property 👌🏻)

    🔧 MODS AND DATAPACKS ON THE SERVER:

    (\) You do not need to install any mod on your client to enter.* Regarding mods and datapacks, they are detailed later.     Who we are:

     Village Valley is a fairly new SMP server with a focus on community. Thus, the server follows a towny-like play style. The villages are going to be created by players themselves, they will have their own theme, palette, and rules. The server will mainly focus on villages, you do not have to join one, but it is highly recommended to get the full benefits. Our main goal is to provide a safe, fun and chill environment where everyone feels welcomed, so we have a 1 strike and you're out set of rules to make sure everyone feels that way at all times. One key thing to consider before joining is that we uphold a fair trade system focused on the towns. Due to past experiences in other SMPs we want to avoid one person having control of the economy, so if your goal is to become the richest on the server, then this isn't the right place for you. This is for people to come together and cooperate with each other and ultimately just have a good time.

    Current villages/towns:

    Winterhallow Winterhallow was the first village ever created. It is based around a Winter Nordic style. Based in a snowy biome, it offers many beautiful views as well as a variety of places for future projects.

    ToonORama ToonORama was the second town created on the server. As the name itself suggests, it is based around a cartoony style. Offering a big variety of farms, a massive residential district as well as a marketplace.

    Exodus Exodus is our third newest town/ village on the server, however it has a big population. Exodus is based in snowy mountains and follows a medieval/fantasy style throughout. It has many farms, as well as a marketplace and the main part of the town where most people inhabit.

    Enso Enso is our second newest town on the server, with the biggest population. It is based on a border of snowy plains and mountains. All buildings are built within a industrial steampunk style.

    Wyndvale Cove Wyndvale Cove is our newest town on the server, with a small community of helpful people. It is based in a rather beautiful forest area, with a big body of water situated next to it.

    Hi

    • troledsmp is a whitelisted server that was inspired by Dream SMP's style of gameplay where the main gimmick is light RP present in most of the events going on. Our aim is less towards survival in particular and more towards player interaction, in-game conflict and wars are only welcome as they are supposed to be the thing to keep the entire server interesting. The RP on our server is generally not taught by a script, it's mostly made up along the way, but we are going to curate some major events, to keep things more interesting. Right now we're looking for active members.

    • Server has a life/death system where you have to resurrect yourself after a certain amount of deaths.

    • Server has several plugins, but nothing that interferes with Vanilla Minecraft much, nothing like region claim plugins.

    • Server has a 5000 block radius world border, which makes for a total of a 10000x10000 block area.

    • Server difficulty is hard.

    • Server has The End disabled.

    Brief look over the rules:

    • No cheating or exploits.

    • Optifine and Vanilla Tweaks are allowed.

    • Using mods is mostly not allowed.

    • Third party clients are prohibited.

    • No farms that would cause a lot of lag.

    • Server might have people making content (Recording/streaming) so be aware of that.

    Our goal:

    To have an almost vanilla, newbie-friendly, survival server where we can play with friends and also allow other groups to play with us without damaging each other's builds or causing grief.

    Rules:

    • No cheating.
    • No x-raying (minimaps with cave mode are ok).
    • No botting.
    • No griefing.
    • Don't PvP people who don't want to PvP.
    • Try not to lag the server.
    • Try to keep the chat parent-safe, we want kids to be able to play here without their parents getting annoyed by the language and themes they are exposed to.

    Useful information:

    • Place a chest down to claim the land around it. You will be given a YouTube link with more info, watch that and it explains almost everything about land claims.

    • /giftpet to give your pet to another player.
    • PvP mechanics are changed to heavily favor people who are trying to defend their bases from griefers until an admin comes online to ban them. A compass will point to and tell you the distance from your "base" point where you have that advantage. The point will very slowly converge upon you.
    • Right click with empty hand on stairs to sit on them. Stand up by sneaking.
    • Throw exactly 6 emeralds all at once into a fire, or ignite them with flint & steel and they will turn into a villager egg.
    • Villagers without a job site will eventually lose their profession, even if they have leveled. Villagers without a profession will eventually be killed.
    • If you need more claim blocks, ask an admin. You can have as many as you need.
    • Powered diamond blocks act like shrines where you can offer materials by right clicking on the diamond block in order to get blessings.

    EnderEye SMP is a 1 year old dedicated server modeled after Hermitcraft. This means that we operate on a system of trust! Please abide by the golden rule of trust and common sense, as we value it above all else on this server. We do not use any claim plugins, we depend on trustworthy members and attentive staff to make sure everyone's space is respected.

    Server Rules

    Golden Rule - Use common sense and have fun :)

    1. No Griefing/Stealing. We operate on a HermitCraft style of trust. If you didn't place an item, don't pick it up.
    2. Respect public and private builds, spaces, and boundaries. Don't mine under an area outside of your claim, especially under someone else's base. Do not loiter in someone else's area without permission.
    3. No PVP without consent.
    4. Pranking must be within reason.
    5. No Client-side Hacks (X-Ray, fullbright, killaura, jesus, timer, speed, fly, etc.). List of approved mods: Approved Mods
    6. English is required. No overly NSFW/Offensive language in chat.
    7. Offensive builds are not allowed (swastikas, curse words, genitalia, etc.)
    8. Abusive chat and personal attacks will not be tolerated. Sexist, homophobic, racist, hateful speech or chat will result in harsh punishment. Debating political topics will likely get you muted for an hour, keeping a relaxing atmosphere is very important to us.
    9. Discord membership is required.
    10. While TNT duping is allowed, any other type of exploit to gain an unfair advantage or attempting to compromise smooth operation of the server is strictly prohibited.
    11. Minimum age limit of 16+. Sorry to those younger, we hope you will come back and apply in the future.
    12. Farms and trading halls are private unless marked as "public" with signs, using a farm or a trading hall without permission will be punished the same as stealing.
    13. All unmarked chests are private! Except naturally generated loot chests.
    14. Auto-clickers, auto-movement, auto-reconnect, auto hotkey and anti-afk is not allowed! AFK fishing is allowed using a weight to hold down your mouse button or the mouse unplug trick. Any attempt to bypass the 12 hour AFK time limit may result in a suspension!

    Notes

    • Worldspawn coordinates will be moved when 1.17 is released, so we can have new terrain generate on the same map
    • Currently in the beginning of season 2!
    • When 1.18 is released we will start a new season on a fresh map
    • Soft world border goes out 5k blocks in every direction from spawn and is the limit of the Dynmap render. The area beyond this soft border is subject to periodic resets. Use this area to gather mass resources (sand, terracotta, etc.)
    • We use a special fork of PaperMC called tuinity, in addition to running on dedicated hardware optimized for single-threaded workloads, this gives our server best-in-class performance!
    • we love big redstone, but hate lag. We have TPS and MSPT shown right in the tab list in game like carpet mod! Use your best judgement and check MSPT before and after starting a redstone machine, if turning on your machine caused MSPT to go above 50 ms, you'll need to wait until less players are online as to not lag the server.

    How to Apply

    1. Read the rules. You will be quizzed on them when you apply!

If not, we will send you a DM in discord to let you know the outcome of your application. If you are rejected, you will be kicked from the server, but you may re-apply in 30 days.

    Sheltercube, a new survival adventure!

    The server is a non-official HermitCraft server. Just a community server with some datapacks.

    It's not exactly like HermitCraft, we do like to take some of our inspiration from there. For example, we would like to create an area where people can build shops and just like HC diamonds will be the currency of our choice.

    Oasis SMP: What are we? A Minecraft Community with over 50 members who are seeking more active players!     Atlantix is a new Vanilla Survival Multiplayer (SMP) Server with quality of life plugins such as GriefPrevention and Tree Gravity and basic commands like /sethome, /rtp, /tpa etc…

    Additional features are :

    • the ability to have the jukebox playing continuously with the discs you have collected
    • /givepet
    • comprehensive staff
    • you can choose to have your chests sort automatically with /chestsort
    • rewards for voting → ranks with perks and keys for vote crates
    • sell your items and blocks in exchange for any other item or block, diamonds are the main currency. (We use TradeShop for that.)
