Hello everyone! Astra is an incredibly old non-profit server and through the years, we have grown a community and formed our own identity as a server.

Information about Astra

We have formatted our server in such a way that promotes the creation of cities and businesses.

We also have a Dynmap (full server map on a website for live viewing).

There are certain requirements that a city or country must meet for it to be recognized as official. These can range from how many members they have, to city banners and such.

Personally, I find it really fun to just wander around the world, and finding these various destinations - seeing what our community has put together

Despite the fact that we're a lot in this community, we all get along. That's something rare that I haven't seen on many other servers. No, you don't need to be 18+ to join our server. I have always found that rule on other servers quite idiotic considering people mature at different ages, so that's not something you should worry about.

We have an active staff team - handpicked members that I find suitable to be staff. All our staff members are long-time players of Astra.

We also have a few custom plugins just to spice it up a little (e.g. you can vote in chat for the time of day, report others, list all cities, view relics (exceptional or sentimental builds handpicked by staff & the community), a world map, and much more. There are quite a few data packs as well (vanilla tweaks). Our players are also able to check themselves who has interacted with their build/storage without needing staff to do it. This saves everyone a lot of time.

Please don't live millions of blocks away as the premise of this server is to interact with one another.

Allium has been running since June of 2019 and we are currently on our third season. We pride ourselves on playing true vanilla and building up a great community. Our server runs on spigot/paper. This means we have plugins and spigot/paper by default optimizes the server. So those who are interested in hardcore Redstone, you may have a difficult time as you will need to adjust your redstone to paper/spigot. It by default disables duping and optimizes how items stack when dropped. We have a test server from time to time where players can test their redstone machines.

Our map has a good variety of biomes, and lots of space!

The nether was also soft-reset for 1.16!

There are 2-8 users online throughout the day.

Our spawn & market theme is Medieval, but of course, if you choose to build anything out in the world, you can build it in anything theme you'd like. Diamond based economy + Market.

-Completely new and not started yet:

-Only teenagers:

Me being a teenager myself I definitely rather hang with people my age especially with voice calls. None of that "{Mature Players}" I want to be goofy and goofy now.

-Java:

I mean thats pretty clear- I only play minecraft on java so id like a server to be....java.

-English and USA Eastern:

On one SMP I went on I asked someone to share a house with me because I wanted to be social and he ended up being 8+ hours away from mine and everyone elses timezone and steal everything :/

Hypernova [SMP][Vanilla]{18+}{Whitelist}{Dynmap}

Hypernova SMP

The Hypernova server is a brand new SMP! Our world was started Friday, September 18, 2020 and was been pre-generated from (-10000, -10000) to (10000, 10000), giving players an enormous amount of space to build in. In honor of a large inspiration for the server, we are using the "Shadow Seed" of Hermitcraft Season 7. (See Xisumavoid's video for an explanation)

Members are encouraged to build next to one another. Start a small town, or a sprawling city, or maybe just a tiny beach oasis! Of course, this is not required and members are free to build as they please. You can also request a Dynmap marker for your location.

We have multiple builds in mind to complete together as a community (spawn, end portal, end island, etc.), so if you are skilled in building, terraforming, redstone, item collecting, anything really, we would love to get your input on everything! Come help us make the server look awesome!

We have weekly Statistic competitions where we track a different statistic in the tab screen (often using the ones available from the Track Statistics datapack via Vanilla Tweaks) and the member with the highest value at the end of the week gets a special permission role, a prize, and their name on the wall of winners. Occasionally, we also host community events such as build competitions (our nether hub was the winning design in one), killing the dragon, birthday parties, and many more.

Similar to Legacy SMP (Season 2), we are using a custom advancements datapack, BlazeandCave's Advancements (available here), giving members over 700 new advancements to complete!

In the very near future, we will have a separate Creative server available to members as well, where members can collaborate on designs together, with the ability to use Carpetmod, World Edit, and a few other mods!

Who we are looking for

We are looking for all types of players who wish to be part of a welcoming community, from veteran redstoners to megalithic builders to brand new players, and everything in between! A relaxed, fun environment is a huge part of this server, so we are looking for players who will continue to build up the community and have fun with others.

No one actually cares what I write here as long as it's funny. Long ago there was a minecraft server, the owner wanted to have some friends because he was a loser piece of shit in Afghanistan with nothing to do but beat his sausage, go to the gym and lose money playing hold'em.

No one would come on the server, so he made a post on reddit about how a Zombie Pigman had broke his door and he needed someone to fix it. As a result a few people laughed, but still no one showed up to play the server. Everyone who came just wanted to say, 'this isn't anarchy, why can't I cheat.' Then they were banned for using hacks and being dumb.

Anyway, come play my server, anarchy without cheats, if you have to ask what that means you're a dumb piece of literal human garbage, I hope your entire family chokes on a pretzel.

Q: Is the server P2W?
A: Nope not at all. We are highly against Pay to win servers and offer no features of the pay to win variant. All of our shop items are purely cosmetic.

Q: What makes you different from other Earth servers?
A: Unlike other Earth servers we pride ourselves in an open door transparent policy with our community on everything we are changing and always give full answers as to why something is being added/being removed. We also feature the war adaptation to Towny so that you can conqueror your enemies under your banner.

Q: How many people are on at a given time?
A: This depends on the time of day/night Our Peak hours are 3PM-2AM EST where we will see roughly 45-75 players on at a given time and the number is constantly rising. When it's not peak we have roughly 30-45 players on.

Mystery SMP [Vanilla] {1.16.4} {Whitelisted} {New & Active}

Mystery SMP is a growing active 18+ Java 1.16.4 Vanilla Survival Server. We all play often together and separately depending on events on the server. Everything is built in survival mode, and we have fun doing it.

We have a website map so you can view and decide where you want to base. You can also view your builds from isometric view. Lastly you can create markers to mark points of interests from in game.

You won't have to worry about griefing and no we don't have land claims. We have a system in place to check block/container updates, restore blocks with a bunch of filters, and check who exactly griefed an area.

We have several datapacks to accommodate for multiplayer scarcity, but nothing too rash.

As far as events goes there will be alot of player hosted events. We will implement a weekly PvP event for a collectible item. Everyone will be encouraged to come up with minigames, PvP arenas and other event worthy ideas.

The Minecraft Server went live December 20th. We have made multiple decisions through voting to implement for the season. Currently there are no plans of resetting the server.
