The 3rd season of the CraftMania SMP is just about to start this friday and we'd love to see you being a part of it! Unlike other server, we have a lore set up and players are kind of expected to follow it. Lore: It was just a regular day on the Craftmania server, everyone was just vibing and doing their own thing when suddenly a purple light appeared in the sky. At first the inhabitants of the world weren't worried at all. But then the purple light started getting bigger and bigger until 2 weeks after the light appeared a meteor looking like a black egg with purple spots crashed down inside of Assassin hood's territory. Then the planet started to uncontrollably shake and suddenly it moved in a way it wasn't supposed to, away from its sun. Now as a rogue planet travelling the universe 2 weeks after the crash the people of the world started to notice 2 things in the sky: another sun that was pulling the planet closer and closer and another planet that the planet was going to miss by not a lot. Knowing their fate was sealed the inhabitants had two options: either jump to the other planet with a maximum of three items on them or stay behind and die a gruesome death inside of a sun. So when the time came to jump most players did it and landed in an abandoned temple of the planet's gods. This is the story so far, wish to contribute to it? Join Craftmania season 3 today. | Posted: 14 Dec 2021 08:24 AM PST Welcome, Neighbors! WHY HOMESTEADCRAFT? HomesteadCraft is an RPG-inspired adult MC server with a vanilla-feel; think vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. In order to create a server with that old-school RPG feel, we use a few plugins, including: McMMO- A skill-leveling, perk-unlocking masterpiece! Such skills include Acrobatics, Archery, Unarmed, Excavation, Herbalism, Alchemy and many more. Acuteloot- Adds literally BILLIONS of unique named items. With billions of names, over 15 different special effects (check out the arrow-riding enderbow or the timewalker boots!), different particle effects and a rarity system, the combinations are practically limitless. Find AcuteLoot items in naturally-spawned chests or get lucky when enchanting to roll the dice! You'll probably notice the health bars floating above mobs now, too. There's also damage counters when you hit them. Outside of the RPG-inspired plugins, we also use a claims plugin. Since this is a grief-free server (see rules below), you can imagine this one helps prevent a LOT of things. With an easy-to-use GUI, you can set permissions to control who may or may not build, open chests, place lava, break blocks or even set an enter/exit message to display to visitors inside each of your claimed areas. We currently have a world border of 7k in each direction from spawn, making sure you'll always have a place to build or explore, with future expansions planned for each major update. A THRIVING COMMUNITY With an admin team that strives to assure constant 20TPS, and a friendly and helpful mod team, we try to build a close-knit community of friends from all over the world who just want to hangout with other adults and play some Minecraft. Goatzone is an Avatar inspired minecraft java edition server where you get to choose one of the 4 elements to bend. Each element live within their own cities and nations. We try to make the server as lore accurate as possible and the server has cities and nations placed accuratelly on the map. Together we build as different nations to create the cities we know and love from the Avatar series. You may optionally also be a non bender if you choose it, or perhaps be a chi blocker if you rather be that instead of bending the elements? GoatZone also has custom made map which is accurate to the Avatar map in the lore, and you can visit all the locations in the show. Each nation has a Leader, for example the Fire Lord/Lady, or Earth king/queen and so on. They lead the nation and decide how it is ruled. Each nation has laws that need to be followed, which are set by the leader, or in some cases by a democracy. Some leaders chose to make their nation a democracy. How a nation is made and ruled is in the players hands essentially. Each month 1 Avatar is randomly chosen, this player will get to learn all of the 4 elements. They need to find a teacher who can teach them the elements they want to learn. To do this they need to travel the world and visit different nations to find them selves a teacher. The Avatar can also enter the Avatar state and energybend. Every Avatar also get their own Statue that will stay with the server forever in the Avatar statue area. On top of this we also have a 4th custom dimenstion, being the Spirit world. In the Spirit world, spirits live, and to enter it you need to go on a spirit journey alongside the Avatar. In the Spirit world all kinds of weird things may happen. The world looks different, there's new biomes, the weather is different, time works different. You can also find a number of new structures that can be generated in the Spirit world. GoatZone is completelly free and requires no mods at all and can be played on version 1.16.X! Server has been running since 11th of December 2021 so if you are looking for a very fresh server with a map that I have no plans to reset, then this server is for you. For the rules, no griefing/stealing/unwanted PvP... Other than that common sense is mostly all I ask, you can even use modded clients to an extent (just no game-breaking stuff like flight, x-ray etc.). I don't want to limit the way you want to play the game, you can play alone on the other side of the world if you really want to. Rather than having 1 person in charge of everything, like most servers, our SMP elects a president every 2 months. Every member gets a say in who leads it. The server is light on plugins, with only a few included to help moderate and keep things running smoothly. The gameplay is still entirely vanilla. We have an associated discord server for you to talk to the other members, and potentially make some friends! You can chat to people in-game directly from the discord and vice-versa, to allow easy communication. To fit with the theme, instead of a long list of rules, we have a constitution. Basically this is just like a terms and conditions, and you don't have to read it. The IP for the server can be found at the bottom. We also feature a unique way of handling troublemakers.
