| The DSSR Server [Vanilla]{Whitelist}{Discord}{1.13.2} Posted: 11 Mar 2019 06:46 AM PDT The DSSR is a new vanilla survival whitelist server opening as of last month, with a completely fresh map. However some of the mods and core-players have been playing together for over two years, so we know each-other well and you could say that it is a tight-knit community. We have a fully functioning discord and forum, but to get into the server/discord you have to apply on the forum and obtain +5 yes votes from the current community. Our age limit is 16+, however if you are turning 16 soon, we will usually turn a blind eye. Our mod team is experienced, and deals with everyone and every problem fairly. While they keep things from getting out of hand in game, they do not decide the fate of the server. Any 'major' thing/issue/suggestion/change are voted for as a group, so every member has a say in what happens to the server. Every suggestion is considered, no matter who you are. Two of the current moderators used to moderate a server where our current community comes from, however we left our positions as moderators and eventually the server, as we felt like the community had turned into something we never wanted it to be and so we wanted to rebuild what we once had. So with the help of our new moderators, we plan on doing just that with this server. On the old server we used to average 5-10 players and peaked at 20-22 players, it was very successful for a long time and we plan on bringing that back to this server. If a classic Vanilla experience with mature players in a grief free environment is what you've been searching for, then we have a home for you. Our rules are pretty standard: 1. Griefing is an instant ban. Nowadays its easy to find out who did damage to other players using their player data. A simple rollback can repair all the damage but the player who griefed will be punished. 2. Stealing is also an instant ban. When you are desperate and just quickly need some materials you can ask a player to borrow some items, but do not take anything without permission. 3. Do not ask for items from the moderators. Everyone on this server is equal, and we all play in survival. Even the mods (they may use creative to fix some technical issues or checking for cheaters). 4. Be civil and kind, bullying/harassment of other players is not tolerated. This includes any form of racism which is completely unacceptable, as well as continuously causing/inciting drama within the community. 5. Do not deface/make spawn look ugly, we already have a plan for that area, so if you want to make to build your own building be sure that you go a little bit further from spawn (at least 400 blocks), the direction doesn't matter. 6. Do not take advantage of in-game bugs/glitches, if you find one please report it one of the server moderators – getting on the nether roof is allowed, if you want a hole to be made in the roof for you, let a server moderator know. 7. | [WANTED] [Vanilla] [pvp] survival server no mods Posted: 11 Mar 2019 02:03 AM PDT So about like 7 years ago I was really into minecraft and especially a server called the creeper cartel, i remember that server got shutdown because the owner cashed out really abruptly or something like that and it's the main reason I stopped playing. One thing I really liked about CC was they had an amazing PVP mode, basically it was completely vanilla, you got chucked into the world and you had to make your own way around with no help, and there was this 3 lives thing where if you died you'd get to respawn 3 times before all your stuff was deleted and you had to start from scratch, or something like that it was a long time ago. Because it was a real hardcore mode, there were no factions or anything (although people would team up independently) you'd build these massive underground bunkers to hide from other players, I remember finding really creative ways to hide my chests in case someone found my bunker while I was offline and idk its been so long but i still miss it sometimes I was wondering if anyone knows of anything similar? We're a community of both veteran and new players, and we appreciate a good factions experience. We've built this server on years of experience of hosting popular unique, custom servers and we think you'll enjoy the simple but refreshing take on a factions experience. But enough introduction. TNT holes regenerate after 5 minutes, and chests can be looted inside faction territory - the only way to permanently raid a base is to kill the owner until their power drops lower than their total claimed chunks, and then you can unclaim their land. We've also disabled use of chorus fruit and the elytra in the overworld (it's still usable in the end), and shulker boxes cannot be placed inside chests or enderchests. On top of this, we've got two special plugins - werewolves and vampires. Each comes with unique benefits and weaknesses, but it's up to you to decide which side you want to join - if either. What sets Everdale apart from other servers is our "Everpolitik" and "Implementations" creations. We implore you to read our documentation for a more detailed explanation of Everpolitik and Implementations, however here's our best try at summarizing it: Everpolitik is a system where the Everdale timeline is split into "seasons", with each season lasting approximately 1 month; a new season will begin on the 1st of each month. For each season, players are divided up into different teams, who will compete against one another while working with their team. The goal of Everpolitik is simply to deliver an interesting and refreshing experience to the game. For more information, you can read more about Everpolitik at our documentation! Implementations is a set of changes to the vanilla game, with the goal of delivering a new and fun experience to the player, in addition to offering new challenges to overcome. Implementations range from disabling phantoms, to ores smelting only into single nuggets, or even to adding block breakers and placers! Implementations are community-driven, meaning that we're dedicated to hear what you have to say - they shouldn't be infuriating for the player, but rather add to the existing game. | CivClassic [PVP] {RP Available} {Civilization Building} {Large World} {1.12.2} Posted: 10 Mar 2019 01:01 PM PDT CivClassic is an experimental Minecraft server that gives players the power to control the world in ways they couldn't before. We're forming a new direction for game-play, not just about surviving the elements, but about surviving each other, where players can work together to create and shape civilization or to watch it crumble. A world open to any idea, manifesto or philosophy, created by the players. We hope to push minecraft to its fullest potential in order to foster discussion, experimentation and community building. This is the great pastime and challenge of mankind: Civilization. Some core plugins: Citadel (Allows users to reinforce blocks and lock chests through different levels of reinforcements - still can be broken) PrisonPearl (Allows players to inflict justice on other players by essentially sending their account to the end until released or someone breaks you free. This will result in an alt ban. This server allows users to use multiple accounts, but when one is pearled, you won't be able to use the others. Don't worry though, people don't usually pearl and hold anyone without a reason. If they do, you're more than likely to receive help!) Bastion (These allows users to protect areas from grief, enforce land claims, or even block pearls. Since PvP is allowed on the server, raiders are commons so this can be a very useful deterrence) JukeAlert (Allows you to monitor your claims from afar to see unknown or wanted enemies walking near it. You'll receive text alerts in your chat box with the location and name of the snitch) We have a very populated server with many friendly players who are more than ready to help anyone learn the ropes. This server definitely requires team work, so I would recommend making a post introducing yourself to join a town/nation. Make sure to include what type of gaming experience you're looking for and what skills you have. This server is what you make it.
