Additionally, lots of our players rely on Optifine which hasn't updated to 1.15 yet. In the meantime, we have installed a plugin called ViaVersion which allows 1.15 clients to connect to our server. Though the 1.15 blocks are not obtainable, connecting with the 1.15 client allows for the performance boosts you'd get from the new release, like boosted FPS (on some computers) and easier takeoffs with elytra, despite playing on a 1.14.4 server. We hope you still consider applying! We value a stable and smooth experience, so we don't want to rush updating to 1.15. Project Nebula is a Hermitcraft-style SMP started by /u/Colinator007 and I. We love playing as a community and generally interacting with new people, which is why we started a server. Our community is tight, and very welcoming! Are you looking for a small, simple survival server to play on with some friends and other cool people? Well look no further! All applicants that are accepted will be notified ASAP by myself through Reddit PM. On this server, we like to base our most basic values on other SMP servers like Mindcrack and Hermitcraft. So chests and belongings are based on trust, so trust other people to not take your stuff without asking and you don't do it to them. PvP is enabled but a player versus player fight is only permitted if both people agree to fight and give back any items. When you first log on, you will spawn in the 'spawn chunks', there, we as a server community will build starter houses and shops and other cool looking buildings to make a nice little village/town for everyone to enjoy. We have a few some datapacks enabled on the server such as one player sleeping and mob head drops as well to make for a more interesting and streamlined playthrough. We have weekly challenges that you can participate in. So what we want from a member is to be an active and dedicated player on the server, and I really want to emphasis on this. Having Discord and a good microphone to talk is a requirement because we are very social on here and like to talk to each other. A member on the server will also have to be a mature one, now I am not a massive believer that maturity directly correlates to a person's age, but the best way to only accept mature people is to only accept players that are 14+, sorry if anyone is not 14 or above, but an extra detailed application can make up for the fact that you may be younger. Experience an RP environment, do your class job, earn money, live a free life...until the night comes. Each player has a class, each with their own roles and jobs within a town. For example, A blacksmith is the only one who can use an anvil, craft iron/diamond tools, Armour etc. A farmer is the only one who can farm, the list goes on. This system allows for a rich and diverse economy and allows townspeople to work together, if a Miner needs his pickaxe repairing, he needs to visit the blacksmith. If the blacksmith needs ores, he will go to the Miner etc. This server uses a chest shop system, that way if someone is offline it does not halt your role within the town, it can always be purchased. This server uses factions, towns use factions to protect and manage people in the towns. Beware of the Foxes! They raid towns at night and are fierce warriors skilled in wielding axes and bows. The Foxes can and will raid towns, steal, kill and pillage at night time. If you are caught outside of a city's walls, you can be killed on sight by Foxes, regardless of your class. It is up to the Paladins and bravest of townsfolk to protect the towns! If the townsfolk life isn't for you, you can be a wanderer. This class is skilled in many things, which makes them able to survive out in the wilds on their own, or with friends. This server boasts a large plugin list, with custom recipes, custom generation and mechanics, bloodmoons, all with it's own home made plugins for reliability whilst keeping a very stable TPS. As you travel by roads outside the town walls. We like the vanilla mechanics of Minecraft and try our best to keep our plugins light, We are just looking for mature players who don't steal and can work either with us or off on their own. When you first join you will have to go through a quiz which usually keeps out the impatient players who just want to grief. After that you will see some portals where you can choose Vanilla, Amplified, or Creative. You can always go between worlds later by returning to the world's spawn point and going into the hub portal, our survival worlds sync inventory and our shopping mall is in the hub so you can trade with other players or set up a shop. Most of us are on the west coast so we usually get online around 5pm PST or a bit during lunch. Rules:
