We are in our mid 20s and have been enjoying Minecraft since our school years. We have always been keen on playing together and having fun in this virtual world. At this point in time, we have figured out, sharing this great experience with more people is even better, especially because not all of our school friends play Minecraft anymore. Living in a world not only by ourselves is a lot more enjoyable and fun! Seeing buildings grow and other things being built from other people is just a great feeling and gives so much joy. There are no set rules on where you have to be on the server, it would be cool if we are all closer together so we can see each other from time to time or build bigger projects together. We can always connect each other through the nether You have total freedom of everything as long as you respect the few rules that are stated on our discord server, like the use of common sense when doing something that could hurt someone else's feelings or builds. Play on the server so everyone can have the best possible vanilla experience and respect the spawn area, this is a community area. We have grown into a small european community with people from all over Europe atm. We have refreshed the world for 1.16. We welcome all new trustworthy members. We all have our own jobs and real life, but being active every now and then would be nice. Especially participation in community builds and events helps grow this community closer together! You can host your own events or build your big project ideas too. Features: This is a vanilla server and there are no mods installed. We are running on papermc with a few little tweaks that visually don't change the vanilla gameplay but improve the multiplayer smoothness by a lot. Paper also helps me figure out lag issues a lot better, if there are any. We do everything in survival, no creative or other game modes. There will be no commands for items/levels/spawning etc. Literally the scoreboard command will be used, because we like to see how often someone dies when pressing tab. (This might changed once the arena and pvp tournaments are held 😬) We are testing out some data pack just to tweak vanilla experience a tiny bit. These are not final and might be changed in the future, depending on what the majority thinks is too much or needs to be added. Following Data packs are currently installed: Mob Heads have a chance of dropping on a kill (Reason: Fun) Player Heads will drop if killed by a player (Reason: Fun) The Enderdragon will drop an elytra (Reason: this helps the long marches through the end when it's been raided for thousands of blocks already) Shulkers drop 2 shells each (Reason: Same as above) XYZ and Time Display (Reason: Ability to show only the Coordinates and Direction instead of the whole F3 screen, which is overwhelmed by information and text) AFK Display (Reason: To see if someone is afk and not active) Multiplayer Sleep (Reason: Only 50% of the people online have to sleep to skip the night. We have changed this from 1 player sleep this week and it seems to be better this way) As with every decision, I as a server owner will ask my fellow members and debate on new data packs or community projects. This server is a new 1.16.3 Vanilla Whitelisted server. With just a couple of friends playing here and there. I aim to create a close knit group of people that like to build and play survival Minecraft. I heavily play the game just about every day and am looking for more to join in on the projects we create. I am looking for like minded people, people that want to continously work on a world for 1-2 years, and people that typically play a few times a week putting in 10ish hours. Although this doesn't mean you're not allowed to take breaks, I know I have needed those month breaks. Or in general you just have a busy life outside of Minecraft. About & Gameplay: I am generally looking for people that like to build towns, cities, cottages, kingdoms, etc. Although I do like my redstone contraptions, I want the main top land to be covered in beautiful buildings that maybe even sometimes tell a story. I am looking for anyone with interest in roleplay type style, such as an Medieval Kingdoms with rulers, Modern Cities with Economies, Nordic/Fantasy with Magic and Lore, or even Futuristic/Sci-fi with technology & redstone. Redstone is very much welcome, but i'd say to try your best at hiding those contraptions the best that you can. My goal with this world is to keep it for as long as possible. I generally like to keep playing in worlds for longer amounts of time. As mentioned above, we all take breaks sometimes. And when we are feeling crafty again we don't want to log in and find that the world has been reset and it's time to start all over again. That being said, this doesn't mean that a reset can't or won't happen. Because at times it seems that's the only way to freshen things up, although I find moving out to a new area leaving everything behind is a great way to start all over, but I digress. I'd like to atleast get most of the current 8,000x8,000 world pretty filled up by the time a reset does come around. I want to encourage players to build and work together as much as possible. Various projects to work together on such as Shopping/Trading areas, Spawn Town, Gaming and Theme Park are a great wat to band together. I want to have the feeling that this is a server a people playing together, rather than people playing a server doing their own singleplayer projects. Although those are still welcome, I just want to get people working together doing things as much as possible. To give you an idea of what kinds of builds I expect, here are a few of my own along with some images of builds from friends that I play with on another server from time to time. Players Rule Plugins, policies, events and community builds are all suggested and voted on by the players. Vanilla This is a semi-vanilla server, but implementing the original Vanilla SMP game. We don't install plugins that dramatically affect game play. If we can do it with agreements and cooperation, who needs a plugin? If a plugin is required to make you play nice, play somewhere else. And that all means what? Build where you like as long as you don't infringe on another player. Invent a way to play tag or hot potato. Host a pig race or start a build competition. Inspire a community build of your favorite real life building or statue. Join a shopping region with a cool store or task service. Do anything else you can think of as long it doesn't disrupt the server. Plugins We do have a few. We use CoreProtect to investigate claims of theft or griefing, a live map of the overworld on the web, and live connection to the Discord server. The theme of the server is Medieval/Fantasy/Steampunk; however the lore of the server is built around multidimensional portals which opens up the door to new maps/worlds and new themes/styles. The main build world is custom terrain generation using the EpicWorldGenerator. There is a separate small vanilla world that is used for harvesting. There is a vanilla nether world for harvesting and an epic terrain nether for building as well. The End Dimension also has custom terrain. Custom Dungeons (structures and bosses) have been made using the EliteMobs plugin. There is in-game access to the following: 🔹 Decorative Playerheads Database 🔹 Customizable Armor Stands 🔹 Custom Titles 🔹 Bank/Item Vault 🔹 and more We have a shared/communal storage system which was based off of series like Kingdomcraft (Pre-Hermitcraft) and the Realm of Vasten. This is encourage cohesive building over economy and plots/claims. Ultimately the server was designed to provide as much as possible in a survival world for builders. There is also a creative server which has a flat plotworld as well as a custom terrain map on which to practice. The server is free to play on, but players can donate through Patreon to offset the server costs. In addition, players must apply to the server on our Discord. The world is set in the time of an empire at peace after a thousand year war. The Archmage had discovered an ancient tome during excavations for the tower of Ironguard. He dabbled in magics he didn't fully comprehend and caused a rift in space/time. Portals opened up to new dimensions across the empire. The Emperor sent out scouting parties through some of these portals. They discovered new worlds - some were habitable, some were hellish, others ethereal. This is where the story begins. If you are interested in joining the server, you must apply on our discord. Not everyone will be accepted as we are looking for experienced builders. We are also looking for those are just willing to help out on existing projects (Helper Role vas Builder Role). I am one of the mods on a bedrock realm that we made a little over a month ago. We currently have around 10 active members and I'm looking for around 10 more. Since we are 18+ we all have lives and sometimes the realm is inactive, but I want to change that and add more people from different time zones and who can we active. We currently have a shopping district at spawn where we can have up to three shops to sell things for diamonds. You can build your house anywhere as long as it's not farther than 2000 blocks. We have basic nether highways to peoples bases but that's something we definitely need to work on and would value someone who could help us with that. We use discord often and talk about trades, in game questions, and anything else we need to communicate to each other as a group. Discord is vital to being apart of the realm and being active is important. We like to voice chat but if you aren't into that it's totally fine! We want this to be a community where we can all be nice to each other and just have a good time playing Minecraft. That being said this is a mature realm, I haven't had very many mishaps because I'm very transparent with the people in my realm and don't allow people under 18. This is a vanilla hermitcraft style realm. We don't under any circumstances grief or steal from anyone's base or shop. We take this very very seriously and I am very active in the realm and pop in all the time. I will ban the first time if it's very obvious you griefed. I want everyone to feel like their stuff is safe so I take it very seriously. The realm is set to a healthy medium of normal and hard and in this season we are not giving out the seed to anyone, and I am the only person who has access to it. This is to preserve the integrity of the realm and we're not willing to stretch this rule until next season! We will however, search any biome you would like and give you the coords if someone hasn't already found them and posted them in the discord. We just don't want the seed to be taken advantage of or be drained of resources such as elytra. We don't have too many rules on the server, a few big ones being no griefing and being fairly active in the discord. This is a long term thing! We will have multiple seasons and if you are a long term member, you will have say over how we do things in the next season. We are very open to any and all suggestions for the realm once you are apart of it. We are very easy team of mods to comminicate with and we want everyone to be comfortable and have a good time. The application just helps us know if you're right for the realm without us asking you a bunch of questions, but if you prefer me to just message you the questions I could do that as well!
