AboutSurvival Fun is a friendly survival community that has been around for nearly three years. Our community has a solid base of active players but we are always welcoming to new players to interact with and befriend here. Our shopping district is booming with shops, whatever you would need you can probably find it. If not, you can set up your own shop there! Our staff team is extremely dedicated to our player base; we are frequently running fun events and challenges to keep them occupied, improving the server game play experience, solving player problems and more. Chertia is a roleplay survival server set in a land of gods, magic and monsters known as the Kingdom of Chertia. This server is heavily inspired by Mianite, but has evolved over time. We've created our own identity with completely new characters and an ongoing story that everyone is able to contribute to in some way or another. The Server Chertia is mainly a semi-vanilla survival server. While we do have plenty of custom features, items and enchantments, these are entirely optional and can be ignored if you wish for a more traditional 'vanilla survival' experience. With a select group of friends we've met throughout different server's we have decided to create our own server. The main driver behind this idea is that we are all in our mid 30's, and thus we don't have a lot of time to play unlike our younger counterparts. This renders us slowly, and the community changes to quick on all those servers. You login for a day, and next time a week later half of the players has changed. Because we still enjoy to play minecraft, and with a group of friends, we've decided to create our own, but mature server. We have a discord to stay in touch, coordinate projects and see who is playing when. Rather than having everybody fend for themselfs, with their private trading center, iron farm, and whatnot, we have coordinated projects like 1 communal iron farm, 1 communal villager trading center etc. I'm sure you get the point. To ensure we stay a tight community we have a limited map-size of 25k. Which should be enough to last for years. We based on friendship, teamwork and respect. Because of the fact that we don't play as often as we would like to and also we got players from all over the world playing at different timezones, at times we feel like it could be fun to include others aswell. The server is currently about 2 months old, and because of our pace, we have more plans than actual buildings. But there are some based spread across the map and things are happening! That means I'm looking to collect feedback and see if people would be interested in a server that looks like what I'm going to describe below. Please share your comments and thoughts in comments or contact me on Discord @ Parapluie#0440. 1. Modded / Vanilla-LikeThe idea would be to run the server off the Fabric modloader and then have clients (that's you!) join with a few fabric mods on their game too for compatibility reasons. The idea would be to remain true to vanilla (that's very important for me, don't expect stuff that "feels modded"). I haven't made a specific list of mods I'd like to implement but expect stuff like better world gen, improved performances for everyone, a few nice little tweaks, etc. In practice it's not much different than Vanilla servers running with a few datapacks. Only real difference is that you'd need to download a few mods the first time you join the server and then it's gameplay as usual! 2. Realms-Like (also known as Hermicraft-Like)My vision of this is having a game that feels like a singleplayer game but with other peoples! That means you shouldn't expect plugins, staff events, kits, or other stuff commonly associated with factions servers. Of course events would still happen but it'd all be done in such a way that anyone could run them (so if a player wants to start some event they're more than welcome to). Another thing this implies is a strict whitelist and a limited amount of players. From experience if you whitelist 20 people about 10 will play every now and then but barely 5 will play weekly with more often than not only 1-2 players on at all times. So the idea is to start with about 20 people and if activity decreases kick remarkably inactive players (nothing excessive of course, as long as you have a bit of a base going on or are active in the discord server when polls are run you'd be ok!) and then proceed to bring in new players from this very sub. 3. Concluding notesSo all in all, imagine an Hermicraft-like experience on a really cool maps with a few vanilla-like additions to the games in order to make it even more entertaining. Well, we as a community aim to shape the survival gamemode in a way that improves challenge, replayability, and increases fun altogether. We do this by adding tons of content that matches well with the vanilla-minecraft theme, to the base game. A lot of systems are already set up. 30+ custom monsters that are absolutely terrifying (with bosses and engame content after the end to follow in the near future). Over 100+ custom items that add something unique to survival gameplay. LANDS (The best claim/towny/factions plugin out there). We have a spawn-area filled up with NPCs that sell you all sorts of items, perks and services. You can even craft your own custom portals with blocks ingame! However, it is best to experience all of this for yourself. Words are just.. words :/ All feedback from players is listened to and considered. In addition to that, anyone that is a part of Hidden Sanctuary is encouraged to help with the server's development. By that I mean design content we will later use in the WorldGenerators upon server release. Think of building structures for the overworld generator (TERRA) or structures for the custom biomes in the end (BetterEndGenerator). Maybe you want to build/design an entire dungeon for the overworld? Do you like to build plants or trees? We can grow any schematic from any sapling (also custom sapling, for example, generating an entire farm from a custom sapling). But not just building, we also need people that can design items and monsters using our plugins (we can teach you how to use these as it is rather accesible). Just over a month old, at 15+ members strong I am seeking to gain and grow the moderate friendly community we have with a few more people that love the risk of playing Hardcore but in a multiplayer setting where they can collaborate together to achieve things grow a world that thrives. What do you mean "Hardcore\" ?* RiskySMP is running a custom-designed Datapack by myself, whilst not "Hardcore" in the traditional sense, it is a datapack designed to make "Hardcore" more smp-friendly whilst still providing the high risk-reward of Hardcore play. Each player begins with a limited amount of lives (The community elected to make this; 3 . So if you die 4 times, you end up in the dead realm) and a configurable "maximum" amount of lives (The community elected to make this; 3 . So you can slowly gain more lives back up to that number). When a player dies with 0 lives left they are moved to a custom-made empty dimension. However this is not technically "game over", as they can be brought back BUT IT IS NOT CHEAP, And the "dead realm" is very much not fun :P Fancy server things: A "real-time" (updated when Minecraft saves the world) 3D-rendered world map, credit to BlueMap
